I didn't see that. He did have a couple of sentences in the beginning about being pro-equality, but that was a direct response to the letter writer's comment about it, not something he brought up out of nowhere. The columnist's conclusion was correct: he should be her #1 fan and instead he sounds bitter. In every relationship I've ever had we've been excited to celebrate each other's accomplishments; that he's so resentful about it should make him reconsider if this is the relationship for him.
