This is the way. Expose the inequities, flood the internet with evidence, constantly present the facts to everyone possible. When the male toilets have urinals, and female toilets do not. Gender neutral theory should dictate the toilets with no urinals should become the gender neutral. Otherwise the venue exposes itself to lawsuits for sexual harassment of males by females.

Because it was an extreme example that was hard to ignore. Meanwhile thousands of assaults against men by women are not reported to police, dismissed by police, ignored by media. Recently we saw a case where an ex burned her boyfriend alive by setting his apartment on fire. The same week talk show hosts spent all their time on trivial 'regret sex' type cases.

There are multiple issues with this case. A single incident of this should have been enough to put this offender in jail for several years. Men are not educated on this problem to the same extent as women. Mainstream news will not cover this type of story, far too many journalists will amplify the male-offender-female-victims storylines only to the exclusion of all other gender offender/victim combinations. Trans offenders get a free pass.

the worst thing to me in this report is all those people would have seen you talking to a female prior to the incident, then making a huge argument out of it. people are weird. also why I dislike public transport and ride a motorbike so I don't have to deal with people in confined spaces where everyones patience wears thin. (also avoid peak hour traffic as much as possible)

There are still women who value men. Often they are unseen because they aren't parading the streets in fake stripper outfits, dyeing their hair rainbow colours, screeching 'I'm offended' or covered in tatts. increasingly rare though. That said, an increasing number of guys are marrying various non western ethnic's, because their family cultures value femininity and masculinity.

Time to start a mens only mental health counselling service that qualifies for whatever medicaid, medicare, health plan funding criteria apply. Let me know if there is interest in this. Not a mental health counsellor myself, but can setup domains, design websits with interactive booking systems etc. IMHO: this should have traction as mens mental health is an undertreated issue.

I'm seeing that trend in lower tier organisations, charities etc. Not in the major banks or larger firms where investor sanity prevails. Just my gut feel though. Have also noticed activists groups and activist journalists pushing this issue. That said, I haven't done or seen a solid study on this trend. anyone have a reputable source? ​

nice try, in some alternative universe your point might be recognised. In the real world no. there is zero valid reason to enforce equal numbers of genders on boards. The only thing that matters is the best person for the job. If you believe the public wants a female led bank, find enough similar thinking customers and form a bank with that as a charter. reality is, even most females don't care who runs the bank, as long as they do it well.

I've long noticed toxic emotions come from both genders. It's a learned behaviour. Also _VERY_ dangerous, once a toxic mindset takes hold, all other forms of bias, mental health and discrimination become dominant. (or vice versa if you prefer)

While I applaud the idea of non discrimatory workplace, I wonder, what sort of workplace has totally equal pay grades. Does everyone do exactly the same job, work exactly the same hours and take the exact same level of responsiblity? I just can't see this working. There will always be entry level jobs, managers and a mix of skill levels justifying different rates of pay.

The funding here should come from suing the mother and/or the facility accepting her forged signature. IMHO, unless the mother produces a death certificate for the father, the facility should have an obligation to verify the father has approved the process IN_PERSON. IANAL, and I'm not familiar with the laws for verifying identity etc in the jurisdiction covering this event. But as a general observation, this issue should be considered in ever jurisdiction redditors live in.

I recently bought 1L of concentrated hydrochloric acid to clear a blocked drain. Zero controls on purchase. Heck, was sitting on shelf away from counter and probably gets shoplifted. At least the staff warned me how F@#$ing nasty the stuff is (or were upselling heavy duty gloves, face shield and waterproof overalls. NASTY stuff.

ditto to this. I have a lot of female friends due to being a long term social dancer. Of the hundreds of ladies I know, a couple have admitted sex regret with someone we both know. Not rape. I sometimes wonder how many others never tell anyone. It's a hard thing to know unless reported to police with actual evidence. Same for men with domestic violence from partners. The whole issue is difficult.

This is one of many reasons why online portals (Coursera, Edx etc) are taking off. More people are realizing all the non-essential parts of University 'life' are not only a distraction from academic activity, but a major liability educational institutions should not engage in. I found it much easier during Uni to avoid on campus clubs and socialize off campus.

If someone in my social circle was raped, news would travel quite quickly. I know of a couple of dodgy guys outed from my extended community due to bad intimate behaviour. One of the problems in this discussion is the definition of 'rape'. Some consider the definition of rape to include genetial touching, or breast touching. Rape within a relationship or marriage is difficult to prove unless there are signs of force being used. All the more reason not to use or encourage a vigilante style system…

Attempting to disconnect lying from telling the world is a real and serious problem. We already know there are people who will falsely claim to have cancer in order to receive donations/funding for a non-existent condition. The fact this system encourages the victims to report to a non police system is concerning. I think much of the problem is too many people have limited grasp of how any legal system can work.
