Women bragging about their careers and assets is always funny to me. As if I'll benefit from that, when she demands equal or more from me financially relative to what she makes.

The true nature of women. They simply just want the guys who they 'feel' are the best, as well as resources from guys who are stable. Add to that the satisfaction and 'fun' associated with their emotional whims. It's simple, and it's sad more western men don't get this. I guess I could have been bitter more about it, but I've just come to adapt to make the most of the environment I'm in. Care less, enjoy more. It really has worked that way for me with women.

That Brandon guy looks really handsome, was a quarterback, earned a business related masters, and obviously makes great money, but that STILL is not enough...

That's quite an average height too. So many immutable thots in my BScN program (85-90% female) are looking for a 'hot' guy that has an engineering or medical degree, and ticks off other frivolous boxes. I get some attention within my cohort, but there's just so much crazy that I've learned to never pursue it: I've already had to deal with one sexual harassment case that was so trivial/subjective that student affairs only gave me a 'warning'. It's nice though, because they've learned that I don't…

Imagine spending more than a decade of your life on school and training, just to risk your medical license over a picture.

I would have titled it as: Women's desire is inversely proportional to your effort.

So, at least six years of post-secondary, and she's been to prison, at 24!?. Yeah, sure...

Jesus Christ, why does she have the hands of a 40+ year old woman!?

A moderator locked it for this stated reason: " I'm dealing with way too much blatant sexism and slut shaming at this point, so this post is locked".

This. As my eyes are starting to open it just makes sense. From the women I have talked to, the most vapid, uninteresting women are always the ones that say things like, "where have all the good men gone?". They simply can't accept that the common denominator may lie with them, but that would require introspection.

I quite like the used Porsche analogy. They are beautiful and fast cars (generally), but they're still expensive to maintain (drains your money) when they get older.

I understand why there are so many males at that university. If you investigate the program list and student demographics, you'll notice that there are many engineering, computer science, automotive, and architectural design programs. These are naturally more male dominated. Also, much of the graduate research (and therefore faculty) at this university revolves around these male dominated programs.

I'm definitely part of the 10% in my BScN Nursing program. When I've tried to apply for bursaries, but I've always been denied despite my best efforts to polish my applications and explain my financial situation. Since I'm a self identified straight, white male, I probably don't even quality in their system once I enter those data. The funny thing is, when the subject of males in Nursing comes up, there's unanimous agreement that more males in Nursing would make it better. The most common themes…

I have been going through depression this winter university semester. I didn't know it at the start, and I didn't address it early enough, but it made for a very rough semester academically (additional semester required) and socially for me. I've also failed a clinical placement at a hospital with a horrid instructor; however, I believe that if I had the mindset to more actively improve and keep pushing, I would have overcome her BS. Of course, it was an experience for learning and growth. I'm p…

A nurse practitioner (~40-55/hr), or more so, a nurse anesthetist (~80/hr) could easily make 6 figures with good work ethic. It wasn't specified exactly what type of nurse he is. Based on his fairly large debt out of school, he almost certainty has a graduate degree. In Canada, we have registered nurses that make 6 figures out of school if they regularly do a little overtime.

Being female probably helped her application.

I don't think I ever want to seriously date a woman long term now. In the back of my mind, tucked away, there's this "maybe I'll find someone that is truly different", but I never have. Knowing the obvious signs of women trying to use me for their benefit makes me sick now. I seriously feel for my father, knowing what he went through with my manipulative, gas-lighting mother. He pays the most for me and my sister, but at least my mother actually refused alimony payments.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
