If u take into account that in a societal context women are seen to be dominated or won over, prey in other words, you can kind of see why they would consider catcalling threatening. Also they are teached by a young age to be afraid of the viles of man, which granted I believe makes them overhaul safer in certain contexts due to being always on the lookout for things like these, but really puts men in a spot to be feared which has certain consequences for them. If anything gender roles are wild,…

Fun fact! That is true for the most part, but even so because of the nature of the study it does not mean that mens amygdalas (who aren't literally bigger but occupy more volume in relation to brain size) are always gonna be bigger. That can vary a LOT depending on who we are talking about, besides it's kind funny that the part of the brain that is bigger in men is the one that is most related to the experiencing of emotion, which completely goes against OP statement hahahhaha

Dude just blurted out something that has no backing in any kind of anatomical science whatsoever. Biology does not justify any kind of societal role, culture does, ESPECIALLY now a days when u dont need human muscle for literally most positions socially speaking. Would love to know where he got that 25% tho, probably referring to the limbic system but even so 25% of what part of it exactly????

Thks for the very well structured comment. Dude I swear purge week is like that one month in every 4 years where thousands and thousands of cicadas come out of their holes but instead of a very interesting arthropod we have incels. Still interesting to see some degenerates in action.

A guy can have side experiences in the meantime he is not with a woman (this is not exclusive to man or heterosexual relationships tho!). In the end of the day if u dont want to have sex with a person that is COMPLETELY OK and should be a feeling that u follow, but u cant control anyone's feelings, hell even the person that owns said feelings cant control them, after all control when applicable to the human psyche IS an illusion. Getting closer to someone inherently means being more vulnerable t…

Actively creating expectations for this things can be harmful, especially if frustration sets in, then it can be real easy to become bitter and desperate. Control is an illusion, we cant determine this things, just live life to the best extent of ur abilities, if u dont find anyone IT IS OK relationships should never be a check mark on your to do list, they are more natural than that and just flow. Be careful what a lot of people around here say man, just live your own life and focuse on yoursel…

Attractiveness isn't purely based on looks tho. Being attracted to a person only means you like her/him in a personal level no? (Of course you can be only attracted by how a person looks, but that doesnt withstand any kind of hardship and can be discerned in just lust) I always thought being attracted to a person you want a relationship with is a given.

Dude.... psychology is a science that has existed for over 120 years (meaning 1880 to today, also I'm not talking about self help books but professionals who spent years studying this science) and its prime directive is studying the mind through different interpretation, leading us to actually better deal with our own counsciousness and others. For you to say that through out ALL this time there is no example of change being made is EXTREMELY arrogant from your part and only shows how ignorant Y…

Dude I live in Brazil, when OP said that my society doesnt shame the use of prostitutes I was like "are u sure tho????". I do believe in my country the use of prostitutes is more widespread and accepted due to the general lack of care for women (AKA femicide murder rates, domestic violence and rape counts) but hell if it is something as casual as OP portrays.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
