My point is that "40% of college girls being able to imagine a situation in which they might make a false claim" is very different than "40% of college women polled said they would happily make a malicious accusation."

The cited study says 39.6% of a sample of 255 women rated positively that they could imagine a situation in which they might make a false claim. It never said anything about happily
