1	Some countries/societies are less discriminative against men than others. It's really because of germanic culture (I'm not from a germanic country btw). Germanic countries have the most reasonable laws regarding gender equality. Men in Germany, Austria, some of the Nordic countries report the smallest difference in levels of happiness in comparison to women there. I would also exclude my county (Greece) from south Europe, it is relatively better the rest sout European countries.
