The burden of performance part is true, but the difference is that the man holds the ultimate authority as well, and with that he can decide exactly how much he's willing to perform for his and his family's lifestyle without any fear of repercussions. Muslim women can't legally divorce their husbands unless its something that voids the marriage within the confines of the sharia law or an annulment via a muslim judge order on a case-by-case basis, given that they follow Islamic ruling.

True, but its actually not a viable marriage according to muslim scholars and scripture, its just for people to pretend they've created a loophole, but it doesn't work inreality because one of the tenets of a viable islamic marriage is that there can not be any form of time constraint on it, otherwise its akin to prostitution and adultery, but "Modern" muslims don't care/are ignorant.

I disagree. A man can easily learn from the experience of others and redirect his energy into productivity, regardless of whether he has a choice in the matter or not. Its dependent on the mindset of the person.
