Average is a 5. So yours is well above average. Your pics are great!

Hey I don’t have a question, but I read a lot of your comments, and you seem really mature and wise, thank you for doing this!

Yeah OP I agree. Honestly that book has some good advice, but it's downright creepy at times. Some people are just too big fans of the book to admit it. I think the general principle is right though, you need to act sexually confident around women. Consent is key though.

Dude I am glad that female friend is a former friend. She’s a dick. You need to work on developing self-confidence. Your roommates aren’t superior to you because they have a gf, you need to be happy for your own sake.

You're completely delusional about what your problem is. Of course you think all the advice doesn't apply. Your problem is miles away from being receiving a lack of female attention. Please get a therapist, and stop wallowing in your own self-pity. I never get any female attention either, whatever that is. Yet I have had relationships, and I have a friend group. The only difference between me and you is that I have self-confidence and I spend my time asking girls out on dates instead of posting …

Even attractive men rarely get approached. Maybe if you're a male model or a celebrity.

You shoot down all advice people give you. You're incredibly stubborn. Just try inviting someone to hang out. If you don't, it's your loss. Clearly what you're doing currently isn't working. And yet you shoot down all advice that advises you to do something different. Getting a romantic partner is like getting a friend, just 10x more difficult. Don't worry about attention from girls. From what it sounds like, you expect girls to come up to you and give you obvious hints and flirt with you random…

You're stubborn in your ways. I highly suggest you get a therapist. You need to work on yourself before you consider dating. That being said, try this: It seems like you're in college, ask a classmate to get coffee and study with you sometime. They could be male or female. This is always a useful exercise, because this is how you make friends.

Why would I like myself when nobody else does? Self love doesn't make any sense to me You can't expect others to like you, when you don't even like yourself. Your entire thought process is backwards. Your problem is not even the lack of female attention. Your attitude that confidence comes from how many people like you is going to kill any relationship you enter into eventually. It isn't a healthy attitude. You have to get confidence from within.

How do you know? This is all just speculation, until you have tried asking someone out on a date. I have a suspicion that the reason that you don't get any female attention is exactly because of this extremely low self-esteem attitude. It really seems like you have some serious self-esteem issues that you should work on before you can start dating and getting a therapist might be a good idea.

Dude, if a girl comes up to you and asks you on a date, will it make you miserable? Even if you're not interested, it's still a compliment that someone considers you attractive! Why is it any different for you? I have had my fair share of rejections. I have never made any woman miserable. In fact, the most common response, is "Thank you"

You're partly right. Women do ask men out, but statistically it's rarer and more commonly applies to dating in their 30's/40's when men have more choice in the dating market. In late teens and 20's, women have more choice, so they have less reason to ask men out unless they're exceptional in some way. Women are also just in general, (even more than guys) deathly scared of rejection. Also, it's just like with friendships. If you sit around waiting for people to come befriend you, it's going to be…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
