I think there may be a time and place for games. When I'm wealthy as fuck and my money makes money for me and I have limitless spare time, I might have time for games. But at this point in my journey there is too much to be done, too much left unbuilt. I totally agree with you though, but I suppose some people can live with not being 100% productive at every second of their lives. I can't.

It's true. I love the fuck out of videogames, I have a billion internet friends that always guilt trip me about quitting, but I just can't anymore. Every second I spend playing games there's a tiny voice in the back of my head telling me that I'm wasting my time. Of course there's another voice providing cognitive dissonance, telling me that anything I do that brings me joy cannot be a waste of time - but even then, I look back at my weights and I see the ebooks I've been studying minimized bene…

Not gonna lie, there's a lot of bullshit in this thread. Letting your wife dominate you is just sex. Being dominant or submissive in the bedroom has no bearing on your ability to hold frame in your relationship. I'm sure it felt emasculating for him to wear her panties and be "dominated" but that's only because he's not used to the scenario and let it break his frame. Once again I think you guys are reading into the Alpha/Beta thing a bit too much. She is still coming to him for sex, he still ho…

I disagree. Let me explain: at face value it does seem that submission is the definitive trait of a beta. Betas are simpering people-pleasers with no spine. Sounds submissive enough. However, someone who is sexually submissive is not necessarily any of those things in their day to day lives. Just because I get off on women holding power over me does not mean I give it to them freely - as usual, the core of the issue is that betas give things away. They give women their submission, regardless of …

I like how the author casually implies that any woman in a relationship with a "beta male" should try channeling dominatrixes or cougars. Because every beta male is submissive? What a fucking crock.

I have similar feelings about this - shitty people love the catch-all "creep" because it (as usual) makes them a victim but also involves an over insult about generic unattractiveness. We all know hot men are never creepy. I mean, anyone who's improved their SMV knows about this firsthand; you're a creep when it's low and you're charming when it's high. Is it shitty? Yes. Absolutely. Petty, awful people (not just women) get off on creep-shaming because it's an easy way to feel superior. It's bul…

Yeah unfortunately you just gotta live with it. It makes me understand why so many religions demonize sexuality - it absolutely sucks to wrangle with rampant horniness when you're trying to focus on other stuff. http://i.imgur.com/47q9CYv.png Related. "Wise Man Time," AKA the brief period after ejaculation when your brain is free of sexual desire. If only we could extend that.

The alpha/beta dichotomy is kind of a sideline of the actual "red pill." Honestly discussing all of these buzzwords makes me feel like a jackass so I'm just going to spell it out in easy terms, what being really redpilled means to me: Conquering your insecurity by way of actually finding the root of it and removing the problem, Realizing that your own standards are important and meeting them, Understanding the importance of your own time and realizing what is or is not worth your time, Knowing y…

I feel that. I honestly envy women when they talk about how easily they can be turned off, or how rarely they want sex. Holy fuck I wish I had that kind of off button.

Honestly I think a lot of this media is responsible for blue pill behavior in general. Most "friendzoned" guys are young, impressionable nerds with little experience in female interaction but lots of absorbed training from anime, movies, TV, games, etc., wherein the main character often gets the girl because he's a paragon of justice and she "falls in love" with him for whatever fucking reason. So you have these kids talking to girls and getting really confused as to why they're being rebuffed a…

Personally I'm glad about my BP past because it humbled the shit out of me. I can't really take myself too seriously when I remember doing all that foolish stuff back then. Also, it provides important perspective; you can't really appreciate TRP until you start feeling the gravity shift and watch the orbits change.

Haha holy shit every single one of those points applies to me. I'd love to argue how they aren't blue-pill traits but I can feel the hamster spinning up as I arrange those sentences... could be time to make a change.

Maybe they should approach the situation from the bottom up instead of trying to force things to happen? If there aren't enough women in politics it's because our culture don't encourage women to get into politics, and in this case also because we don't encourage women to become educated in technical fields.

I'm not sure the men's rights subreddit really needs anymore blatant misogyny in it. This is a bit much.

This. Her argument is basically just victim blaming. The guy LET himself be seduced, he's at fault! And it's not sexist that a man will improve a grade if his student sleeps with him - that's called bribery, and it works regardless of who is in charge and whatever commodity is being traded. Although I'd be wonderfully amused if the TA "let" himself get seduced and then gave the chick shitty grades anyway. That's male empowerment for you.

"For one thing, if the protestors have to spend all their time chaperoning teenage girls in the camps, they are not going to have much time for anything else. Additionally, while the alleged victim may not be at fault in a strictly legal sense, it sure was stupid of her to jump in a strange man’s tent at night, but all the “Occupiers” can do is bleat on about victim-blaming, all while they denounce the very police who are dealing with the problems they invited and can’t handle. Slutwalkers in a …

I see. It just seems incongruous to me that you could have activists who on one hand actively want to suppress the straight/white/male's opinion, and then on the other hand are accidentally dominated by it. Maybe it's for the benefit of the unwashed masses attending the protests, since they're not yet aware of the secret privilege society has bestowed upon men. Snarky sarcasm aside, I'm still unconvinced. I don't see the harm in letting everyone speak at these protests, since they're all there f…

I still don't understand though. In an environment dominated by the types of people not only aware but rallying against the social inequality you describe (in activist circles, for example) why do men still have this alleged advantage? Wouldn't the knowledge that it exists be enough to marginalize it? Or are you arguing that it's so ingrained in our culture that even those people who are aware of its presence are victim to its influence?

Sounds like more daddy issues to me. "Men aren't mature enough!" I'm sure they aren't. Maybe if you spent less time analyzing Hollywood deadbeats and creeps on the train you'd see that men, as a whole, are exactly the same as they've always been. According to this, the female ideal is someone strong and brave and willing to do anything for you. What was that about being mollycoddled?

Is it now? Why is that? At a protest like this, what natural quality of straight white males lets them dominate the discourse so effectively? Are they more bold? Are their voices louder? Are they more educated and thus able to more eloquently frame their points? I really don't understand this. It just seems to me that you could make everyone stand in a line, based on whoever got there first, and let those people speak. I guess in that case we're discriminating against the less athletic (those po…

I'm curious why people think white male opinions will marginalize anything to begin with? It all just sounds to me like they want to guarantee themselves a spot in the limelight, and make the protests into something they aren't.
