But where though? Especially for an introvert.

a pref doesnt give u the right to shame ppl who dont have those traits, especially when they are purely genetic While I agree with the concept, I find it laughable considering the current trend of referring to things as "big dick energy" and "small dick energy"

Male birth control has been 5 years away for the last 30 years.

This post paints men badly on any metric. Men are naturally predators? Men raping women is part of nature? Women shouldn't be upset about being assaulted? I don't see any way this post fits the subreddit.

Why is this getting upvotes? The analogy is equating men to being predators which is no better than feminists claiming men are born rapists.

You need some degree of friction. When a girl's too wet you just kind of slide around without feeling much. You can get the same issue with using too much lube. However, it's a pretty easy fix by just pulling out, wiping off the excess moisture, and getting back in there.

Since women dont need men im sure we can dissapear for a couple of years. Men on Strike is a pretty good read how on some level, that's already happening.

Of course they don't need no man. But a walking ATM machine? That's completely acceptable.

Yep. Even during the trial they were already spinning Amber as an 'imperfect victim'.

It's actually great for conviction rates -- just not convictions of anyone guilty.

The kind of twisted logic that stems from #BelieveAllWomen. As if a whole half of the population is incapable of lying.

Celebrities have real problems too and they don't joke around with defamation. Calling the entire trial fake when this entire thing has cost Johhny Depp multiple movie roles seems more than a little misinformed.

The fact that Amber got paid to get paraded around and do repeated talks about being a domestic abuse 'survivor' while Johnny Depp lost his movie roles because of her lies just boils my blood.

There was a male birth control out and being tested on people in the 50's, even before the female BC pill. It was scrapped though when it was discovered it made the body unable to process alcohol correctly. I'd have taken that one any day. I've also really been optimistic about Vasalgel but last I checked they didn't expect to have any updates until 2023 and even then it might not work or take years more to reach market.

That seems like a pretty good point of reference. This isn't a problem I'll ever have, but what about the extremely attractive and wealthy men that naturally have women falling all over them. Is there a way to tell between feigned and genuine interest if both result in very high interest extremely early on?
/r/MensRights31/01/22 08:35 AM

How do you distinguish genuine interest from feigned interest?

It seems like everything you just said is also a symptom of losing the ability to just walk away by getting married. All the leveraging only matters when you're hostage to the relationship.

I wasn't trying to imply that you cheated. I was just saying that threats of violence about being cheated on or actual violence after getting cheated on should not be normalized behavior like they are right now. I totally agree with you about that being fucked up.
/r/MensRights11/11/21 10:03 PM

I've always hated things like this. Sure, cheating is fucked up and shouldn't happen, but physical violence and property damage should not be considered a normal or acceptable response. Being cheated on is not a free pass to be abusive or break the law, yet people celebrate women that do as if that's somehow "justice" for being hurt emotionally.

Horniness comes from hormones and is unrelated. Physical sensitivity comes from skin and nerve endings, which are removed or damaged during circumcision.

Let's be real here. The fastest way to remove the draft is to require women to sign up for it. That's the only way to get enough people to care about there being a draft in order to have it removed. Anything that only affects men will be entirely ignored.

That's the one I've been most optimistic about. Last I checked there wouldn't be much of an update until 2023. There was another one I can't recall the name of with a device that gets installed in the same location that has a switch on it, but it also wouldn't have any news until 2023. I think it goes back to that saying that's something like "male birth control has been 5 years away for the last 20 years."

I'd have gotten a vasectomy if it wasn't classified as an irreversible procedure. It is often reversible, but not reliably enough to be classified as such. I just wish there was some male birth control already.

I always found the statistics on false allegations to be odd. Wouldn't that be 2-8% of confirmed allegations? If someone makes a false allegation and gets away with it, there's no way to quantify that and add it to the statistics. So wouldn't that place false allegations somewhere between 2% and 100% without any real way to narrow it down?

I think most people are unaware of how blatantly biased universities are. No one talks about it so until a person experiences it first hand, I don't find it surprising at all that they'd be caught off guard with it.

They said create a website, meaning you're supposed to buy the relevant domain with "soandso" replaced with the professor's name, then do whatever you want with it.

The mental gymnastics I've heard is that you can't be racist or sexist against a majority group. I've had people tell me that racism against white people and sexism against men is technically not racism or sexism because of that. I still can't wrap my head around justifying racist behavior on what someone believes is a technical loophole to their vitriol.

I followed this whole conversation and I just want to applaud you for your patience and willingness to entertain dialog in spite of the hostility, while still remaining civil the entire time on top of that. If more subs had people willing to have a conversation instead of banning any contrasting opinion then the world would be a much better place.

I think subconsciously, they already are. I read Men on Strike a while back that talks about this and also contributes men that check out of society and play video games all day to the same cause. Society alienating men is making men less interested in contributing. I think the downside though if men just stopped contributing altogether is that laws would become increasingly detrimental to men, even more than they are now, without someone to point out the insanity of it all.

So, what you're saying is... you hate women. /s It's a horrible segway to derail any argument into something completely related and I was 100% thinking of her interview with Jordan Peterson when I made my other comment.

My thoughts exactly. It's like the disgusting act of checking if women are virgins by forcefully inspecting them for a hymen, but now applied to men and their foreskin.

Completely this. If they find you attractive then it's sexy and if they don't then it's creepy.

Don't prenups also only cover your wealth prior to the marriage, not anything you earned while married? Not to mention them often getting thrown out in court anyway.

I still can't believe how much I dodged a bullet in college. I genuinely considered taking Gender Studies because I thought it would be an interesting evaluation of the pros and cons of both genders and how we could better promote equality between them. I didn't find out until much later that it's all dedicated to feminist victim complexes.

I tried reading a bunch of seduction books but felt they had no value to me because my social skills are pretty horrid. I couldn't find any practical books to help me improve that aspect though and things like How to Win Friends and Influence People just felt too abstract and not something I could easily use to improve my social life.

She might get some hate, but more than that I'd expect her subs to double from all the publicity.

Of course not. Female accusations are weighted double and male accusations are rated in negatives. You lose either way.

I did some digging and Bimek is not ready yet and is estimated to have (European) market approval by 2023. The dissolvable glue I mentioned is called Vasagel and based on articles from 2017 it had an estimated 3-5 years of development left, though I can't find any more recent updates on it. I'll keep an eye on them both and hopefully, there will be good news within the next 5 years. I've also considered vasectomy but the reversal procedure appears to be very unreliable and it's more likely to fa…

Everything about that looks incredibly painful. I can't remember what it's called, but the one I've been the most optimistic about is essentially a dissolvable glue that gets injected in the vas deferens and stops sperm from going through. When you're ready to have kids, get a second injection to dissolve it. It still sounds painful, but I haven't seen anything else that sounds close to being reasonable.

This is a huge reason I want there to be male birth control. I don't want my future to be dependent on someone else's whims or a thin piece of latex.

Legend has it that if you use enough buzz words in your argument, it becomes 80% more effective, regardless of what you've actually said.

Based off of world population stats from here. 700 mil of the female population should be ~5.5%. And I think I accidentally stumbled on the source for the 700 mil claim as well when I was double-checking myself, which might answer some of the questions u/ArCSelkie37 had about the distribution. It definitely looks like it's almost exclusively third world countries.
/r/MensRights22/05/20 05:10 PM

I love that they try to use percentages for the first two, but if they did that for the number of women who married under the age of 18 it would only be 5.5% of all women and most of that probably from third world countries so instead, they just put raw numbers to try and up the shock factor.

I was thinking that too. It doesn't matter if he did anything or not, the mere accusation that he did something to her while she was passed out drunk on his bed and his life will be ruined.

Or set up a Google voice number and give that out instead.

As someone very socially awkward, it seemed pretty informative and useful overall. Was anything in the video incorrect or just too basic for most people?

The best I can guess is that it equates the value of her appearance to being worth a million bucks, thus implying she's very attractive.

My conversation issue expands beyond women. I don't have any friends either. I feel like it all stems from the same issue of not being able to hold a conversation. Any attempt I may whether it's in person or over text always tapers out within the first few lines and I can't figure out why. I have no problem pushing my comfort zone, the problem is nothing improves all because of the same issue.

I'm an extreme introvert and struggle to even maintain a conversation with people I know, much less complete strangers. I try to start conversations with girls by asking those default questions you mentioned just to frantically find some common ground or something that they would enjoy talking about. Almost every conversation fizzles out pretty quickly. Those goes double for text conversations over tinder and such. You example conversation is impressive. I'm not interesting and I don't know how …

You know how people get to the point of having refined approaches? Practicing. They're not congratulating him on his technique, but on the fact he did something rather than not even trying, as most people would do. You won't ever be good if you don't even begin.

Whenever I try that, I usually end up getting a really snarky "It's evening" response back.

Do you know of any books or anything that goes into these in more detail? Especially the tomboy one, as the girl I like is rather tomboyish. I'd love to learn more about what might get her more interested in me.
