3	Is it odd I don't care about society anymore? Three points, any one of which may be true: Society is a (useful) fiction. Think about your family and your community instead. A strong civil society is the only thing keeping the government from stomping on your neck. (Or stomping harder, depending on where you live.) 1	Kink shaming Louis CK By that logic, it would seem that any white person asking permission to perform a sexual act with a non-white person would be 'harassing' them, because the white person has an inherent power over them from their identity. 2	Help create a reading list for a young men's reading club Definitely a worthy project. I'd suggest: "In Our Time" by Hemingway. Maybe 9th grade? The prose is pretty simple, which would help if some of the kids are a little behind on their reading skills, and the stories are short enough and varied enough to allow for a fair amount of discussion of varied issues. "Starship Troopers" by Robert Heinlein. Maybe 8th grade? Sci-fi action and serious issues re: government, responsibility and war. I loved Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, good suggestion.
