Not sure if this is me just being resistant or is he being slightly controlling? Not entirely true? Like getting jacked when your a woman involves an incredibly rigorous workout routine with good genetics and/or steroids. Not something any woman will accidentally do. I'm sure there are butch women who are, but honestly if OP does go to the gym, getting super ripped absolutely will not happen. A ton of women lift to feel stronger and get toned who doess femininely. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/01/20 01:41 AM
Not sure if this is me just being resistant or is he being slightly controlling?Uh being really into fitness, even with weight lifting is not related at all to being butch. What are you talking about? I o ok ve fitness and my gym is full of women who lift and stuff. We have very few butch women and it has nothing to do with how in shape they are. | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/01/20 12:37 PM
When we disagreeTrue, but you are also right that some kids just want chicken nuggets all the time. I was a bit guilty of just relaying my experinces and ignoring all others :P | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/19 08:29 PM
When we disagreeThat's not entirely true. I was picky. I would just not eat food that I didnt like. Didn't matter if it means I went hungry . It was a big battle. But I guess the question is why dont they like it? There are only a few foods I didnt like the taste of. My issue was texture. I and alot of others I knew just out grew this in our late teens. Once I out grew the texture thing my tastes really diversified. Even now I dont really think there was a way that would have made me eat more diverse food. | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/11/19 05:23 PM
'An Essay for Women,' by Rollo TomassiI guess we'll just have to leave this with a diffrence of experiance. | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/11/19 02:15 AM
'An Essay for Women,' by Rollo TomassiOk. Looked that up. I'm still not convinced the degree that someone succumbs to that effect is gendered. I also still stand by what do uniforms have to do with my trust of non related expertise. Why would I trust my rector with non religious questions unless i knew he had those expertises otherwise. In the same vein I have no idea why people care who celeberies back in politcal matters but you are right, lots of people do evidently. Now I'm sure to some degree everone fall to the halo effect but… | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/11/19 01:01 AM
'An Essay for Women,' by Rollo TomassiOk. I will admit I'm not sure what context you are refering to. I was thinking like, some guys I am an expert on X topic so whatever I say is right. Like what they said seems to make sense the last 3 times won't make me assume they are right the 4th time. Your comment on uniforms are making me think like a doctor. And honestly if I have a medical condition I look into it myself with the thought that onbiously this guy went to med school so of course I take their comment with more weight than a r… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/11/19 09:34 PM
'An Essay for Women,' by Rollo TomassiPeople who make sense? I'll give people a shot and if that make sense they make sense. It doesn't mean what they talk about next time will make sense. I don't blindly follow someone because they are in authority or had a great ideas that one time. But that me and lota of people I know. I don't thi k doing so it an entirely gendered trait? You ask who they listen too. I don't think there is a specific type all women listen too. People have their criteria. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/11/19 06:39 PM
'An Essay for Women,' by Rollo TomassiThat is a huge generalization. But to be fair, that it literally one of the things my mom does that drives me bonkers. If you are are not in a authority, she will not listen to you. But seriously, I haven't seen that in my femle friends or myself or sister. So I don't think that is a largely gendered trait. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/11/19 05:22 PM
What is the ideal woman according to red pill ideology? You do know that there are other people in the worl than you and your friends. None of my friends have an n count greater than 5. But its not hard for me to aknowledge that other people who are diffrent exist. I live in a large city in the south. So yea ,not as liberal as you. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/19 05:54 PM
Warm Feminine ClothingThanks! | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/09/19 04:55 PM
Warm Feminine ClothingI'm a hundred percent honest here. Fleece linned leggings don't even keep me warm in Texas "winter". Are there diffrent varities of fleeces linned leggings? I buy mine at local stores, but maybe the better ones are online or at least up north? Thanks! Edit: legging and tights are not the same thing. I have leggings. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/09/19 11:57 AM
Are Moms Doomed to Get Fat?Im 32 with one child. I'm the exact same ad i was pre child and the same as I was when i wad 20. My mom is fat. She snaks all the time and doesn't really excersise and complains about geting fat and how it's not her fault. Do you belive you have control over your weight? If so that's a good sign that you'll be able to control it. Also I go to the gym with women who have had 2-5 kids who all look like they have never had children. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/05/19 11:47 AM
Book Club: Fascinating Womanhood Chapter 21: The Feminine Role Vs The Working WifeI honestly find her arguing against training to be horrifying. Like she's telling you that there is only one proper way to educate and train a daughter. What if she wanted to study something for the pure joy of it? Currently I'm a stay at home mom. I have masters in physics and worked as an engineer until my daughter was born. Why physics? Because I'm a massive nerd and enjoyed it. Being told no I couldn't do that and should put my efforts in domestic pursuits is a massive blow to women everywhe… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/05/19 06:17 PM
Book Club: Fascinating Womanhood Chapter 21: The Feminine Role Vs The Working WifeO man it makes it so much easier. Look, you too made the assumption that if you get life insurance early it's cheap. For how much coverage? What you think you'll make later? that's still expensive and if you wan t to up when older it still costs you. Look most people get good coverage before having kids. My husband and I got ours when we were about 30 just before I got pregnant and we waited that long because I didn't marry until I was 29 so that's why I waited so long to have a child. I know se… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/05/19 06:12 PM
Book Club: Fascinating Womanhood Chapter 21: The Feminine Role Vs The Working WifeQuality vs quantity is just an excuse for timewith children? BS. My dad worked his 40 hours and came home to spend time with us. It was more than enough good quality time for him the be the largest influence in my life. And he died when i was 13. Whatever time you have. Make it count. If you work you can still be the most influential person in your childs life. Just make sure your worthly of that distinction. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/05/19 09:22 PM
[discussion] Women with more "man brains"/logic over emotions, how did you come to terms with RPW? How has it impacted your relationships?Well for whatever the MBTI is worth I am INTP and he's and INTJ. He's a computer scientist and I am a stay at home mom with a masters in physics. How did I come to terms with RPW? I take alto of it as suggestions and apply it to myself an be as honest as possible. Mostly I like how these ladies are not alike a lot of feminists who seems to be obsessed with out everyone must cater to them. I know for a fact that I have to give to my husband, not just receive. I keep in mind that these sub forums,… | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/05/19 04:40 PM
How can I feel confident wearing more feminine clothing?Your not overdressed, especially in dresses. Dresses come in various degrees of dressing up. When I worked as an engineer, I wore more casual dresses with flats since at job it was t shirts and jeans that was mostly worn. I looked classy but never out of place. If your concerned, try more casual dresses and skirts. | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/05/19 12:33 PM
Establishing a good dynamic in households where women make more $?So depending on how much they make, you can hire a night nanny then hello sleep! I know a couple who are both docs and that's what they did. It is possible and clearly her husband will probably be the more primary parent, I have relatives that has this situation and it can work out just fine | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/05/19 12:38 PM
If you're a housewife, you can use your spare time for self-education. Don't let your intellect rot.Watched kids while in school during the day? Daaang most people need their own sitters for that! You are aware that people have different ideas on cleanines right? I have a super sheddy dog, which means sweeping the whole house every other day or it gets bad. I also have like hobbies(fitness and sewing). To be fair I do watch the Smithsonian channel and random nerdy YouTube videos with what little free time I some I'm home with a 10 month old. May I ask what your obsession with stock traiding is… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/04/19 01:33 AM
Finances in marriageWe have a joint account that we both have access to to buy whatever is needed. We have our own accounts that we both get a monthly allowance to for fun money that we have discussed what is a joint or fun money account. My husband handles the finances in terms of how much money goes to the spend account vs the savings ect. Since are both responsible and relatively frugal we have not disagreements over finances. This has worked very well for us. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/04/19 02:16 PM
Women need to do stuff which GIVES them energy and men need to do stuff which RELEASES energy - Agree? If you say so. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/04/19 01:06 AM
Women need to do stuff which GIVES them energy and men need to do stuff which RELEASES energy - Agree? No offense, but if you read what your writing but coming from somewhere else, it could be seen as abusive. You have take time off work to do your chores, you have to use lunch time to talk with friends, and no one is allowed at your house. You mention bringing your problem to him and nothing has happened in 6 months. So you'll try again, what of you keep trying and you find that 2 years down the line nothing has changed. Look, there is something wrong with him and if he is unwilling or able to g… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/04/19 12:07 AM
Women need to do stuff which GIVES them energy and men need to do stuff which RELEASES energy - Agree?Does this make you happy? I dated a guy who just wanted to relax and cuddle. All the time. To the point where I couldn't do other things that I wanted. It wasn't healthy for me so we parted ways and I found someone early. I am so much happier now. Now you may say your SO is a good guy. So was that guy, but there are lots of greats guys out there that you just aren't capable with with. I would take a serious look at all these "restrictions" you have with him and really think if you'll be happy lo… | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/04/19 10:45 PM
Women need to do stuff which GIVES them energy and men need to do stuff which RELEASES energy - Agree?I think it's an individual thing. My husband likes relaxing. I love anything physical, running, mowing the lawn, a good hike. That energizes me. If I don't do those things I get tired and depressed. Also hot showers also energize me so theres that. | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/04/19 07:47 PM
Captain makes less than me.Does he care? Do you care? How do you view the money you earn? I know lots of couples who the wife out earns the husband. No one's cares. My relationship currently I make more. But we view money earned by both of us as 100 percent our money so who earns it is irrelevant. | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/03/19 11:21 AM
FR: The Mental Load: Why we shouldn't follow it and what to do instead.Well I keep reading your last paragraph differently but I'm just going to ahead and assume my brain power surges everytime I read it. Honestly I agree with everything else you said including your response to. Very well written! | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/01/19 08:36 PM
FR: The Mental Load: Why we shouldn't follow it and what to do instead. This is excellent! But my only disagreement is over playing the who makes more game. Currently I work full time at a job and my husband works full time taking care of our daughter. I still do alot of chores because infants are alot if work even though I'm the one making all the money. At least how I view marriage is that any money earned is our money period. Now even we spend equal tome working and his job was more tiredsom I would still do more chores and not mind. But I also do more because he… | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/01/19 12:54 PM
FR: The Mental Load: Why we shouldn't follow it and what to do instead.This. I have found with pretty much everyone, no one likes it when you point your finger at them. If someone you care about comes to you with an issue, you want to help them, expecially men. When I tell my husband I have an issue but not in a blaming way, that is when he wants to help me the most. | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/19 02:58 PM
FR: The Mental Load: Why we shouldn't follow it and what to do instead.Yea, I love this. The comic has always rubbed me the wrong way and you so wonderfully but into words why. What it really looks like is you tell your boyfriend what the problem is and he finds a solution and any man worth your time will want to help with a solution. My first thoughts when I saw this comic was that it's a case of your SO isn't a mind reader but I do think it is a communication problem. You go to your boyfriend with a global problem ie all these chores need to be done! She only men… | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/19 02:53 PM
Your Man is not your Best FriendYou say my it may be confusing because my sister is my best friend. It's not, she has two roles. Sister and best friend. Just like a partner can be a best friend and your partner. Mostly being a partner expands on the best friend role if he is your best friend. Like best friend +. What I am still not getting is why being a partner is mutually exclusive than being a best friend Of course action towards friends are different. There are different level of friends, from causal acquaintance the your … | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/01/19 02:25 AM
Your Man is not your Best FriendHonestly I'm a bit confused. You say you shouldn't combine because then you accept bad behavior from him. Why would accept bad behavior from a partner or a friend. To be fair I'd say my sister is my BFF but my husband is also a best friend of mine. Also you examples are confusing. I don't acre for my sister's child with her all the time because he has a dad and dad wants to parent too. If I were single and something happened to her husband that would probably be different. The second doesn't mak… | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/01/19 02:38 AM
Online Dating: Yellow Flag DiscoveredYou must be alot of fun. Did you know it's possible to have both kind of hobbies? I do enjoy the rare times I play DnD. I like and play video games. I like sewing, running, outdoors, cooking. Not everything you do must have some real world relavence. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/12/18 08:06 PM
I want to have kids, but my husband has some conditions...So I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that oil will do almost nothing for streches marks. Your best bet to ask your mom is she got any and have her honestly say no. It's genetic. My mom got minimal strech marks and so did I and my sister. I'm 5 month pp and you can't even tell I ever had them. Look your an adult and can make your own choices, are you truely ok with him controlling so much about everything? Why doesn't he trust you to watch what you do eat? I only gained 28lbs all by myself… | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/11/18 07:23 PM
