She was a teenager. She had a pimp. And he was prostituting her out to men to have sex with. She may not have had sex with the dead guy but she was 100% uncontested, a teen prostitute. In other words, sex trafficked as a teen. Because teens of her age cannot consent to being a prostitute.

Its not really a pussy pass...she was a teenager but they tried her as an adult and convicted her of first degree murder even with all the other circumstances (being prostituted out, had Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, was a teenager). In this universe. Title IX was written because Congress wanted to even the playing field in college/school sports teams. They thought it was unfair that schools and colleges had huge funding programs for male sports but had no funding for women sports so they wrote Title IX to force schools to start funding womens sports programs. I cant believe you dont know the legislative history of title IX.....

If thats your stance, then you have no right to defend anyone that makes a bad joke from now on when that person gets criticized by feminists for that bad joke. If you do, you are a hypocrite.

Even bad jokes are jokes. If someone makes a bad taste rape joke and feminists lose their shit over it, I fully expect you to come to the jokers defense saying what Im saying but when a woman makes a bad joke, you are criticizing her with the same criticism that a feminist would use. The double standard is palpable.

This is a systemic problem in the UK, they are purposely not letting the defense have full discovery because they want a W for the prosecution. The BBC admitted the range of salaries of the higher profile 168 journalists a the corporation is “much too wide”: “The pay at the top is too high; and, at the very top of the range, there are more men than women,” it admitted. I think the pay cuts will hit only the top because they are being paid more than BBC expected to pay them. And that theres too big of a gap between the individual top earners as well. Like you might be in the top 1% of BBC salary but #1 might be earning 2x more than numbe…
/r/MensRights30/01/18 04:36 PM
2

I think that applies to the top earning percentiles. Their audit found that the some top earners at some local stations were earning more than others at different stations and that was unfair because they werent sticking to the BBC pay guidelines and the local stations were just doing whatever they wanted.
/r/MensRights30/01/18 04:31 PM
8

The tl;dr of the article is that the top paid journalists were making far more money than they were supposed to and the lowest paid journalists are making far less than they should. The top percentiles are going to get a pay cut and the bottom percentiles will get a pay raise.

I think women are just quicker to emotions. It takes a LOT for a mans emotions to get triggered when they are asked a question because when we are asked a question, its more of a logical thought process and we try to answer the question as its asked. We dont really think about our emotions as much and if we do, we push them right down and bottle them up In general though, its a difference in how we process the world. Women process it through emotion and men process it another way. https://www.ps…

Because in everyone's minds, we really do find it understandable that a woman could be outwardly as enthusiastically consenting as possible, acting like a porn star in bed, yet in her mind for whatever reason, she didn't actually want to yet she just couldn't muster the strength to say no. We've officially come full circle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cult_of_Domesticity

This is all payback from the industry when Ansari didn't get in line and criticize Louis CK. Not really, according to her own words, she only "spoke up" after she saw him win the award at the Globes. She wanted to knock him down
/r/MensRights15/01/18 10:07 PM

I got a "woman are being more assertive and are getting revenge because they can" from the article. Thats pretty much it. Its even explained in the Babe.com article. The woman explicitly says: because I wanted validation that it was actually bad. And then later goes on to say It was actually painful to watch him win and accept an award Its all about revenge and knocking him down while hes won an award
/r/MensRights15/01/18 10:05 PM

There was a string of comments on another thread about this where they said that even if she gave him a blowjob, that it was probably out of fear and/or she "froze up" and gave him a BJ because of being re-triggered by past abuses. So now you cant even get consent from a woman without knowing if shes giving legitimate consent, even if your dick is in her mouth and she claims she wants to give you a blowjob. Theres no gray area anymore.

Dont be nice to a woman, just treat them like you'd treat another random stranger (which most of the time means dont acknowledge their existence). Its better to be called an asshole than a creep.

Im going to give you a 10/10 for completely missing the point again. I wasnt talking about the news. I was talking about society in general who reads sexual misconduct and then starts screaming for that mans head on a spike. The word "misconduct" in the action makes people think that what the men did was equivalent to rape. Its a worthless word that just serves to stir up peoples emotions
/r/MensRights06/01/18 10:53 PM
7

It only becomes a problem for these women when when suddenly men refuse to flirt or interact with them without neutral witnesses around them. It wasn't a problem when innocent men were being strung up without due process, because the backlash wasn't there. Classic
/r/MensRights06/01/18 06:14 AM

You missed the point entirely. His shitty joke behavior (he literally hover handed a boo grab for laughs) is being equated with actual rape. Using terms like sexual misconduct is vague and meaningless and when you hear Franken's accuser, bias creeps in and you start equating him with what Weinstein did, which was actual rape.

I did. Saying they are keepers of morality means they are pure. Being pure means they shouldn't dirty themselves with doing things and should be taken care of, like a little kid. The more you do, like getting a job or drinking alcohol, the less moral you become. This line of thinking equates women with little kids
/r/MensRights19/12/17 12:57 AM

Again your ignorance is showing. Read the article and see why even claiming that becomes the accused is guilty I society's eyes. Society gives 0 shits about innocent until proven guilty and assumes guilt from an accusation. Go read the fucking article
/r/MensRights18/12/17 09:26 PM
14

No but you can ban them from drinking alcohol, going to bars, having a curfew and basically limiting them from going to places where they have an opportunity to rape
/r/MensRights18/12/17 09:25 PM

It does good to say X is accused of rape when it's possibly untrue? Did you even bother reading the linked story? It literally explains the harms caused by publishing the names of the accused......

Don't use the word woman, say Feminism or feminist. It's more accurate
/r/MensRights18/12/17 07:10 PM

It harkens back to the 1920s ideology that women are the keepers of morality and that since women are pure little flowers of innocence, they shouldnt be given any dirty tasks and shouldnt do things like drink alcohol, which is why Prohibitionism became a thing in the US. The idea basically says women are super moral and thus should not do anything important which reduces them to basically being equal to a little kid. If you get your hands dirty like a man, you lose your morality

If you have been charged, you are most likely to be in a jail. If you do get out on bond, the Court will impose restrictions like don't work as a babysitter till trial is over or you can't be within 100 feet of a school or a kids park etc.
/r/MensRights18/12/17 06:53 PM

It's not a secret trial, it's just a media publication ban. If someone in the neighborhood wants to know, they should be able to get that info from Court records which are always public but publication of THOSE records should be banned.

Ok, you're probably Canadian or, in the rare case, African then but even then, its not as common there as in the US. If you go to any non-North American or non-African country, cutting their kids dicks is almost non-existent.

How is it cleaner? You are literally exposing your entire penis to the outside world and killing whatever flora and natural things your penis has due to exposure. The foreskin exists to protect.....

Interest rates becoming too high is Armageddon? Its because, theoretically if it goes too high, we might not be able to afford the payments. Think of the meltdown the EU had when Greece went bankrupt and couldnt pay its lenders anymore. Now imagine if Greece was the America. We obviously will never have that scenario because in the absolute worst case scenario, the US gov would just start printing off more money to pay the interest in order to avoid that meltdown. Or bribe the credit rating agen…

Isn't NPR mostly funded by donations? Not really, most of its funding comes from the Corporation For Public Broadcasting, private endowments and the NEA. The loss of sensation is real though. Im uncut and heres a small example: If I masturbate too much in 1 day, say like 3 times in a day, my foreskin after a while stops fully covering the head and stays retracted so that the head is uncovered for a couple of hours after my last session. During that time, the head is in constant contact with my pants, underwear and leg so its always being rubbed on which after a while, it becomes annoying and kinda painful and then it becomes a struggle because I …

Yeah it took me a while to understand too. Im uncut and Ive ever used lube and I always wondered why in American comedy when they make fun of fapping, theres always like a lotion bottle or lube on the table. It clicked eventually but it took a while

It forces men to use lube (the gliding action of the foreskin during sex/masturbation is the natural "lube" if you will). It makes some men think that they dont need to wash their dick because "circumcision makes you automatically clean". Theres loss of sensation too because the head of the penis is always open to contact and rubbing whereas if you have a foreskin, its covered and doesnt ever come into contact with stuff unless you are erect.

Im pretty lost as well so lets do a quick recap. Article that says men do 40 mins more work I see article and am like hey I have an anecdotal story that matches the article! Let me post it real quick Someone asks me why I do that. I explain because I want to (and because I have this mental block where I have to arrive at least 5 mins early wherever I go otherwise it will bother me all day). You reply to that post saying that it was my choice to do so I agree and am confused as to what your post …

Im not blaming anyone lol. Im just pointing out that me and my other male co-worker make choices to stay later at work. I dont give 2 shits that the women leave early. Why do I come early and leave late? Well I come early because I hate being late or even "on time", Ive always arrived at places 5-10 mins early. With the leaving late thing, I dont want to get that rep of being the person watching the clock so I can leave when Im officially allowed to. I know the women do it and I dunno, it doesnt sit right with me to count down the minutes till work is over. I dont mind giving an extra 10 mins, its not gonna kill me and honestly I dont do anything productive at…

Thats pretty true at my workplace too. Me and the 1 other guy in the office come to work about 10 minutes early and then leave the office about 20-25 minutes after work is "officially" closed. RTFA, the reason they are using to backup that statement is that women dont ask for help with their addiction because if they have kids, people who know about their addiction will contact the authorities who will take away their kids. Most of the time when the facts come out from both sides, there wont be and it will just be exaggerations on the part of the woman, and even if it wasnt an exaggeration, it might have been medically necessary to do the things that they did in order to have a healthy baby and woman.

No you are wrong. Legally all the judge said was that the Plaintiff was trying to state a cause of action under the wrong law. There were probably other laws/common law rules he could have used but the judge made no determination on that, all he said was "not a cause of action under this law, sorry try again" The guy is able to appeal or to refile under a different cause of action
/r/MensRights15/03/16 02:42 PM
1

Activist means expanding the law beyond what is written, aka create words to expand the meaning of the law which in this case would be asking the Plaintiff a cause of action not expressly written in the law. What this judge did was super restraint, not activism because he said the the guy has no cause of action since its not written into the law and since those words in the law dont exist, he has no case.

He dumped the water, walked few steps, the old guy rushes in and tackles him, a ponytail guy intervenes and then a woman with a walking stick attacks the ponytail guy. But in that mess, the Cap Guy vanishes somehow. Was there like a cut in the video I didnt see or did that guy just vanish out of thin air?

In repressive countries like this you generally need to have special protections for women in order to create equality. Its what happened in Europe and USA decades ago with 1st and 2nd wave feminism. Currently in the middle east there arent many avenues for women to go to the police for help because the police are both corrupt (as in literal give me money and Ill look the other way) and uneducated (as in I dont believe you because you are a woman). Even with separate divisions, they cant be on the front line because if they get trapped or captured, its going to mean throw every man in the line of fire to save the women as the OP said. I also think you don't know that libel and liable are two different things. ??? liable is the term used in civil courts to say someone is at fault. Guilty is the term used in criminal courts to say someone is at fault. Libel is the term used for the thing that a person can be liable for in civil courts for when you publish false facts and harm reputation. I was using the term civil in quotes as to mean a laymans definition of everything that isnt criminal.

People that write Master's thesis spend as much time on it as people writing studies for journals. Also I know at Waterloo, a masters thesis is read and judged by a committee of professors made up of your advisor, another department prof, the Associate Dean, and a random professor. The thesis then is put on review for 2 weeks for the public where anyone can read and judge it. Mostly random profs do it if it's an important thesis.

He said that I was a feminist engaging in historical revisionism. I am neither a feminist nor rewriting history as women have been banned from voting and owning property. He never said anything against the stated facts. Go back far enough and you will find a point I time where women were both legally banned from the vote and property. It was so in Canada a few centuries back for example.

Hailo works like a dispatch service where it tells the nearest taxis that you need a pickup. In that time they can either take or reject the call and most rejected my call. The way it works is that it keeps increasing the distance from you to get a taxi and the one which accepted my call was like 15 miles away
/r/MensRights29/12/14 02:27 PM

Middle Eastern taxi drivers are the best. I used Hailo to get a taxi in Toronto (before they abandoned North America a few months back :((( ) and I got this middle eastern guy who drove across the city to pick me up because all the other taxis declined to take me. Jokes on them though because I wanted to go to the airport and an airport fare from where I lived cost like $70 :D

From the article, it doesnt sound like she was manipulated. It says that the girl wanted to remove hte guy from her moms life as he was selling drugs to her mom and ruining her life. The girl was probably heavily neglected since the mom must have been high for most of the day which justifiably angered the girl. This lie was just the path that she took to remove the guy and his drugs from her and her moms life. Obviously she should have gotten other family members or friends/people she can trust …

Read the article, nobody put her up to lying. She lied in order to put the guy in jail, who was a pimp and a drug dealer for her mother. From whats described in the article, it sounds like the mom and the guy were sleeping together while getting fucked up on drugs which made the mom neglect the girl (Regina Rush) which probably negatively affected her as a child. Regina (the girl), wanted the guy out of her and her moms life since she was being neglected because of her moms drug use and this lie…

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! This in fact is Marx's idea of the Base and Superstructure where the actual important fight is the one between the ones who hold the power/"privilege"/wealth and the rest of us and that everything else like all of politics, gender issues, social issues, media, and whatever is created by the ones with privilege/power in order to keep us fragmented and fighting between each others so that we remain blind to the people who are really in charge. .... Ive seen 15 year olds drink 1 or 2 bottle of beer and blackout and start puking their brains out. They are just little kids and have no tolerance to alcohol. Also compound the fact that the woman wanted to have sex with a minor after drugging him makes this whole story pretty fucked up.
/r/MensRights09/11/14 08:02 PM

Reddit's voting algorithm automatically downvotes all posts in order to fuzz the vote numbers to throw off up and downvoting bots. The number of votes you get is pretty much false because of that.

Ive actually heard someone argue in real life that taking women's accusations as true right off the bat is the best thing to do and that doing so doesnt make the man automatically guilty. The logic was so flawed it made my brain hurt
/r/PussyPass24/06/14 04:41 AM

If you believe the claims of Party A, that means you are rejecting the claims of Party B. If Party A is the accuser and Party B is the accused, that means right off the bat Party B is guilty. Which in turn means the presumption of innocence is dead.

This is a terribly Eurocentric view to take. There are many countries in Asia and Africa which allow beating women in the house, stoning them to death in the streets for "adultery", stopping them from getting an education and punishing them if they try, not allowing them to vote, or be independent. Women in these countries are treated as property of the man and if a man kills a woman, legally the man will not be punished because thats what the law says. In a few of the countries, women are SOLD …

Heres the thing, I like feminism and its ideals for equality of genders from when it first started. Sadly that ideal has changed from flat equality to tipping the scales into the favor of women against the men. There was a short period of time when things in law were equal like right around the 1960s but after that decade, the tide started to tip the scales in favor of women's rights and to decrease the equality that was established. Now that the scales have been tipped too far, it hurts men in …
