You couldn’t have known. It’s all good. Better to share that history since it’s not a thing (at least not as much) as it was.

I’m aware of how gay men and things like bathrooms were treated I just didn’t know those details with him. I was young so memory failed me

Correct but that’s not what the image in op says. It made it seem intentional and malicious.

It literally took me a single search in DuckDuckGo to find counter evidence.

This actually entirely ignores and misses some of the facts. https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/06/us/deputy-accidentally-shoots-mother-suspect/index.html Firstly https://youtu.be/j6pgwTrg8xo you can see she followed him in when trying to stop him from entering. She didn’t “barge in” or force her way in as this says. The way the OP makes it sound it’s as if she kicked the door down. Second, the mom keeps intervening and getting the way. When the cop draws her weapon (around 12:55 in the video) after th…

Sessions or Trump or one of those idiots said during the Kavanaugh fiasco that they would do this shit to the dems (but with false accusations) in retaliation. To say it’s pro-Hillary people is ridiculous even just in light of that.

Isn’t this precisely anti-feminist? It implies women have no identity other than how they reflect men. 🤔

My mom was physically and mentally abused by her parents. She hasn’t done the same to me. I think being aware and afraid of doing the same as them is the biggest part in NOT doing it. Having a sense of empathy is already a huge step in the right direction

The point is the sleeveless aspect I believe. Men must always, in formal occasion as, be completely covered. Not so for women. I’ve actually argued this for a while. Female formal (and business) fashions are significantly more broad than male. Color is the biggest and most obvious example. For formal settings it’s white or black. Suit can be grey or black, or sometimes navy. Business gives a little more options but men’s is always more subdued than women’s

No. It’s not a stray if it’s aimed at someone. Since it says nearly half of STRAY are at women, that means there are strays that are not. It’s not looking at intentional shots, just at STRAY bullets.

There's been a bunch of times we've been told to take over doing something for females. But there were only a few times where the females refused help (you know how it is, an order is an order). I wouldn't think to assume they needed help unless they seemed to be struggling. I'm also a smaller dude so some females are stronger than I am

So two are basically an attempt at saying fuck you to the person. Ridiculous. Why not just not include them or add more awesome people? Like Anderson Cooper. At least Eric Fanning is there.

I pointed that out to a friend who criticized ot. Despite that 75% still would do it. Hardly a case of them not sucking it up. Also pointed out how long it took to be effective, and how long it took to recover (over a year for some, one didn't 4 years later and they stopped checking). With females it's an immediate recovery except in rare circumstances.

What about the danger to the accused when his name is given out all over the place? And then turns out he's innocent but irreparable harm has been done? Oh yeah, it's a guy, who gives a fuck, right? This shit is getting ridiculous.

If he had said the exact same thing to a guy no one would say it was patronizing or anything. Raises the question of where the double standard is.

Good ol Justice system. A victim can't even do anything about it cause he'd be fucked because of his gender... Don't the feminists bitch about this exact thing happening to women? So stupid. I would say you should leave the relationship. If she did this once, it'll probably happen again.

Philosophy, she's on my thesis committee. Her response was cool, "so life sucks for everyone" Pretty much, the great equalizer is the shittiness of life

This pisses me off so much. Her intoxication is sufficient reason to claim lack of consent, but his intoxication means nothing and, if anything, implies he's being more devious than normal.

Exactly. Trivializing it is a dangerous path no matter the gender involved.

I use the women's room at work when the men's is full just for that reason. It's one person at a time, who cares?

Not really sure what that has to do with this really

That link shows the handbook, since it's not stated, a female teacher would not need another person. Also note that 11.2.2 exclusively uses the female pronoun, the leadership will be just women. I want to say that it's because primary is under the Relief Society which is the female group of the church (men have the priesthood) but I'm not sure.

I personally don't think so. Look at it this way, there are people who are more comfortable showing underwear or nudity but there's also people (perhaps more of them) who would be uncomfortable around that. Whose rights are more important? The ones who don't want to see such things or the ones who want to be comfortable? Neither one is really more important, but a decision has to be made.
/r/MensRights30/04/14 02:24 PM

Where's the line then? Should people who are comfortable walking around nude or almost nude be allowed? Currently it's not.

So modesty in general is now rape culture? What's wrong with dressing appropriately for being in public? Also, People bitch about saggy pants all the time but bra straps, which are also underwear, should be acceptable?

Didn't he get caught masturbating in public somewhere once too? Maybe he was registered cause of that?

That's really beside the point. But for the record I'm 28 and just barely started getting the desire to play one and get more fit (but I'm also luck to have genetics that kept me thin despite lack of sports and such).
/r/MensRights30/08/13 08:08 AM

As someone with add/adhd but who like neither sports nor shop, I fail to see how this would help. I'd be surprised if it even helps in the majority of cases. It might if the supposedly adhd kids are actually just kids, and not physiologically adhd. Also, seems like a bad idea to give someone who can't focus power tools.

This makes me sad, our world has come to this? Where an innocent child can't even express their appreciation in the only way they know without there being something mischievous somewhere? Sigh

I think this shows a double standard. If the genders in it were reversed, or if that "woman's work is never done" were posted, people at the school would be up in arms. So we should, indeed, take issue.

But then someone like this would say you are discriminating and not treating them as equals. Rock and a hard place.

That's what I don't understand about the "If you were drunk and had sex, you were raped" Well, if the dude was drunk too, does that mean he was also raped by having sex with the drunk girl? Or is he still somehow morally responsible for making that decision in that moment regardless of whether it actually constituted rape?

With such a strong thesis as hers, the burden of proof is on her anyway. That's a bold statement, why should we, the accused, carry the burden of proof?

Maybe it's me being over sensitive or something, but I'm Mormon and it seems to have a lot of Mormon influence (and it is a Mormon paper, actually). All the family focus stuff screams "Mormon" to be but I guess that's not necessarily true, plus the gender roles implied in it.
