Peanuts aren’t served until they are up in the air and airline policy won’t change regardless. It’s not like ordering a special vegetarian meal or anything that needs advance preparation. I still don’t see why a reasonable accommodation couldn’t be made. Take gender out of it. On one hand is a human with a potentially life threatening allergy, which admittedly can’t be totally avoided but risk can be minimized. I don’t think it’s that big of an ask… My wife was a flight attendant for a different major airline and if my memory serves correct (she’s not nearby for me to ask for certain) they didn’t have to serve peanuts but couldn’t force passengers not to eat peanuts they had brought into the plane themselves. Does the mere existence of these organizations constitute discrimination? What specifically are they alleged to have done? Are there other exclusive groups such as for people of color? If so, is there equal opportunity for men to create similar groups for themselves? 2	A Jury Rejected the Charges, but He Still Has to Register As a Sex Offender for Life This title is a little misleading. He was convicted of second degree sexual assault which requires registering for 20 years. The key difference is they made his registration for life despite the fact that the felonies were dismissed leaving only the one lesser charge. So this Uncle either has to register for 20 years or life. Not much of a distinction at his age. However it is technically wrong and only should have been the 20 years.
