Go to the gym to improve yourself, not to obtain the others attention. If I´m honest with you, your idea is weak and closed minded. Im studying journalist in a left wing university so I know what you say better than you. However, my teachers trust the media, maybe alt-media or maybe crowdfunding press, It doesn´t matter. But Information is a MUST. Of course there is, Im talking about being constant haha. I think there is no point in discussing that, just create a routine which include this things as much as you want. If you read a book per week then you read more than 50 books a year which is completely fine and possible, that is about improving yourself in every field. When I say "reading" im also saying "learn to play an instrument/exercise/socialize", what is truly important is not wasting time

It depends on you. A huge percent of my knowledge is based on reading or studying. If you enjoy reading you will learn a lot without knowing, human mind is very complex and is 120% ready to internalize knowledge. Also I propose other forms to learn such as films or series because I´m sure people have different priorities instead of reading, which is completely normal

You should know what happens in your country and in the world. Its a responsability you have. I can´t tell you accurately how many times anyone asked about something (Ex: Terrorism) and that person couldn´t answer properly. Most had the idea of an ignorant who doesn´t care about his own country
