If you don't fuck her within the next 10 days, she will be lost forever into the abyss.

Protip - Don't live in the hippie epicenter if you don't like hippies. Haight + Ashbury... there's books written on the hippie legacy that exists there.

Your initial statement "Getting girls isn't very hard" is what forced the bar-trash comment, because I agree - getting girls isn't very hard. Getting quality girls that are worth your time however, is. If it were as easy as you claim ("easy to game"), then this community wouldn't exist. And if I've mistakenly correlated hot with smart, than you've mistakenly correlated hot with worthwhile. Just because a girl is cute, doesn't mean she's worth your time... When you make a girl qualify to you, is …

I like your part about results oriented, and I'd happen to agree. I suppose the difference I'm trying to make, comes with the scope of what a man would hope to see as his results. There is a lot to learn from Seduction - a lot more than just picking up girls. Respecting yourself to be able to recognize and apply that is something the better man would do, as opposed to using it as a tool to exclusively get laid. Morality has a lot to do with it too - how you use this information... but I don't re…

Can you follow dramatic arcs in television, or movies or anything like that, or is it all the same?

A man with a woman who's studying pickup - I'm assuming you're not interested in getting a replacement? A fine example of The Better Man.

No one really advocates going crazy-obsessed over this stuff, but it seems to happen all over the place.

There's very little distinction between the two, but focus and intent have a lot to do with it. Focusing on getting laid will get you laid. Focusing on being a better man will get you laid, but it'll probably get you a lot of other things too.

These threads are multithreaded, so it's easy to get mixed up in minutiae.

Besides learning techniques and routines, are there any other ways you could build confidence? I'm not trying to make it out like all techniques and routines are garbage, but there's so many guys who just stop at that, and don't move forward... they think that once they get that lay a few times their job is done. The difference comes down to relying on these techniques never to move past them, as opposed to learning what they have to offer, and moving forward. Certain things are super valuable. …

A social robot can't deviate from the plan, or he's fucked, and will stay with the plan even if the situation doesn't call for it and it makes everything extremely awkward. The social robot doesn't know the meaning of go with the flow, and feels trapped in any situation that he hasn't planned for.

I'm not saying you shouldn't learn that stuff. It's important to know. But don't obsess over it, like some holy grail that's bound to unlock all the answers... and work on this stuff in conjunction with other things that are important to you. I've seen what happens when guys go PUA crazy. It results in some crazy social mutant who is constantly measuring value, and can't have a conversation with someone without seeming like he's trying way to hard to be cool. If you're interested in seeing this …

If you think that it's shallow to understand what better means, than I'd love to hear your definition. Of course the WORSE man doesn't get more women than the BETTER man. It's a sliding scale based off of success and competency. Seriously... is it that hard for you to understand? The Better Man has more confidence in his actions; The Better Man works harder to achieve his dreams; The Better Man takes responsibility, and earns respect; The Better Man doesn't compromise his integrity; The Better M…

I'm not really putting anyone down. I'm sorry if you feel that way. To be honest I was hoping to find some people who I could gel with, and who understood more of the cerebral aspects of "game". In terms of "air tight game" etc etc etc... I do fairly well for myself, but I'm currently at a point where I'm unhappy with my life, so I've put a hold on getting laid. Right now I'm more concerned with starting a business, and developing a location independent job, so I can travel the world while not b…

If you're willing to pick up bar trash to get laid, then all the power to you, but that doesn't fit into my mold of A) self control and B) self respect. Again, it's just putting pussy on a pedestal. You know you can just buy it if it's THAT important... no skill set required. If getting laid is really the end goal here, there's millions of fat chicks who get no love, and "picking them up" requires very little effort... but I have a feeling we're here because we want more than that...

I don't know about you, but my definition of "best man" gets the women. Yes, it's subjective, which makes your curriculum and set of goals subjective as well. If you don't think that You as a Better Man gets more women, than I'm wrong, but if that's the case, then it's my advice that you redefine what "Better Man" means to you.

It's the difference between a natural occurrence, and going into the situation saying "I'm gonna use this line, and then follow it up with this routine, then maybe a bit of palm reading, and then after than I'm gonna do a takeaway, and then she'll be mine, because that's what Mystery said to do" and then having that fail horribly because you had no congruency between your self and your actions.

You're telling me that a guy who has his life in order, is confident in himself, has self control, is reliable and responsible, has enough money to live a secure life, doesn't put pussy on a pedestal, has his own hobbies, etc has just as much of a chance as getting (and keeping) a (high quality) girl, as a guy who lives in a crappy house, with a crappy job, with really shitty self-esteem, but an outwardly appearing "fake it til you make it" approach? I mean, sure - you'll find the odd exception,…

depends on the girl... waiting til the bars are closed, and picking up the leftovers doesn't count ;)

I get that... but at the same time... learning 10 canned openers won't help you out if you can't carry yourself with inner confidence, and if your absolute end goal is getting pussy instead of improving yourself as a man, you'll never find that confidence because you'll be too busy basing your validation on someone else's opinion.

Just because someone is "good" doesn't make them a man. I assume when you say "good men", what you really mean is "boys". I've never needed a "technique" for anything social in my entire life... not when I was 5, and not now at 25. This isn't a stage play... there's no script to follow.

The best part of a good community is the support you get from it. PUA wouldn't have much of a following if everyone acted like a douchebag all the time.

That makes me happy. Nothing worse than a bunch of sex deprived robots.

I'd disagree that it's truly possible. In my experience with a bunch of different people from this community you're either the type who is A) gonna be hammering routines into your head until you don't sound like a robot anymore, or B) understanding the concepts behind the routines and integrating them into your life in a congruent manner. A is doing it to get laid, B is doing it to be a better man. Option three goes to the theory masters who never get off their computers, but no one wants to bot…

No problem at all. It's just that most people miss the point in pick-up (which is to become a better man, and therefore have an easier time getting laid), and I was wondering if that was also the case here on seddit.

Yeah - I don't want to rain on anyone's parade or anything, but every time I come across a new seduction forum it's always basically the same thing... guys looking for a formula to get laid. It doesn't work like that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
