when you're 18, you're just naive. But when you're 25, yea, you have no one to blame but yourself if you haven't figured it out at that point.

TRP has ruined all music for me. So much music is about love and loss and longing, especially about women. But then you realize none of that matters.

That is just how people like him talk. I'm not going to say "All Democrats talk like that" or "All liberals talk like that". But I have noticed a pattern (probably confirmation bias) about people who reeeaaaally believe things like that. It's similar to the solipsism we accuse women of having. Don't want your country overrun by illegals? Racist. Don't want to be blown up by Muslims? Racist.

Well he does the very clever liberal tactic of equating economics with politics, and when I call him out on it, he'll start rationalizing and telling me I'm a moron, and that he has a master's degree in economics. #Trump

I'm average height, but I feel like everyone around me when I go out is taller than me. Idk if it's my own confirmation bias or if short guys just don't go out as much, but I feel like it wouldn't hurt to be 2" taller.

Aight don't quote me on this, but all those things u/davemustaine13 mentioned are positive qualities, but they're being imposed by an outside force. The average military grunt doesn't have agency. I would say a big part of TRP is taking responsibility for your actions - i.e. having agency. Another problem I could see is not questioning orders. So if your superior tells you to go do something, you don't know the motivation justification, etc. Some people are made to be led. And some people are ju…

Yea I've read that article too. I'd love to see some evidence to back that up from linguistic journals. Unfortunately, linguistics is a very leftist-dominated area of academia so I couldn't find anything to back that up. Sadly, the article makes sense if you connect it with the everyday actions of blacks in America (for example, if black people are so poor, why are 80% of black women overweight/obese?)

Well regarding IQ, African-Americans also have more European DNA in them than Africans, so maybe it balances out. But everywhere they go, they commit more crime, etc. And of course, you can say it's due to racism, which can't be controlled for. So have fun arguing with unfalsifiable opinions.

High-trust societies only work if everyone is high trust. Once you let in low-trust people, the whole system will eventually collapse. The problem with high-trust people (whites) is that they think other people are high trust (similar to female solipsism) and so they can't possibly understand why people would do bad things once they let them in. Fucking blows me away when I see Asians cucking for BLM. Oh your parents came to this country on a dingy with nothing but the clothes on their back and made something of themselves, yet black people just can't seem to catch a break because of "racism". The SJW brainwashing in our society is deep. If anyone else has a theory on how Asians (a small minority it seems, but still) can be this naive, I'd love to hear it.

I saw an interview with some really old German WWII vets visiting a Belgian (I think) museum around the mid-2000's. The young SJW woman guide tried to guilt trip this guy for being a Nazi, committing atrocities, etc. but all he said was that he "was fighting against Bolshevism" and after all these years, you can tell he still believed it. That's how powerful those words were.

Well, on the bright side for Drake, he can have any other woman he wants and will just get richer, more successful, etc, while that chick becomes a used up hag with STDs in a few years.

I actually think I might have preferred being all black What benefits don't you get by being half-black? Any famous half-black person (Obama, Halle Berry, J Cole) all get to be 100% black. And since this is TRP, I'll keep this TRP. There have been a lot of posts about the difficulty in dealing with the truth of gender dynamics (aka people were wondering if they should have "swallowed the pill"). If you were 100% black, you would probably be like your friends, constantly complaining about stereot…

I mean, the "I didn't do nothing" is a very common theme...Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, etc. and they've always done something. I don't actually think (for the most part) they believe they haven't done anything; they've just learned that it never hurts to deny. But the inability to be held accountable for their actions is a big problem in the African-American community. Somehow, it's always White people's fault.

They were like us in every way, but left to their own freedom, they kill people. They can't control it, and they don't know that they do it. Sounds suspiciously like a large percentage of "urban youth"...

I'm sure she enjoys putting him down. Like when an 8 hits on a 7, and the 7 creep shames him for no reason. That 7 is getting hit on by 9s looking for an easy lay, so why should she put up with an 8, or god forbid, another 7?

I have the misfortune of being around a bunch of women in grad school for social work and you're exactly right about the tools and vocabulary of self-delusion. First of all, who needs to go to grad school to take someone's hard earned money ripped off as tax dollars and give it to some crack head? Second of all, all these chicks walk around like their shit don't stink and all they're doing is spending daddy's money to delay entering the real world.

In a counter-intuitive way he held frame and possibly passed a shit-test although his reasoning for why is totally ass backwards. Yea that was kinda my thought. He is definitely maintaining frame, but for a totally gay reason. But if he does capitulate and acts more dominant, he's giving in. I'm sure they'll be divorced in five years or she'll get knocked up by a Chad or Tyrone and he'll end up raising that anyway.

Do you think she is being controlling by "giving up control"?

I think another problem is that in NYC if you aren't a finance BSD, you're already behind.

I think the point is he can get what he wants from Lana, and not Heather, so why should he be put down for his preferences? As an aside, I was watching Bachelor in Paradise and one of the guys broke up with one of the chicks. They had only been dating for a month and her and all the other bitches flipped out. She was already telling him she wanted to have his babies, etc. The show is just full of crazy bitches looking for their 15 minutes, so why not choose the hotter, freakier one?

Or they can just always act irrationally and have most people respond how they want because that's what those people have been programmed to do.

Also in the health professions. They tell you that shit because most students are fucking autistic weirdos who don't know how to interact with people. The needs and wants of the patients? Dude, these fucks just want to drink Coke and eat McDonalds. Who gives a fuck what they think.
