$1,600 a month is not a lot of money? Edit: Sorry I misread—I stayed silent throughout most of the court hearings, nodding my head and agreeing to all the facts presented. I thought being respectful and honest was my best bet, even when she requested baby sitting costs when she works part-time and other expenses like insurance when I have high deductibles per dependent even though she has Medicaid. My situation was unique because although I disclosed my higher salary from 2022 was due to hiring …

Yeah, starting to lose interest in a lot of things. Have been calling out of work early lately, just tired.

I’ve been at my job (hospital) for a year and a half now and take on loads of work seriously unmatched by other staff. They recently hired someone who’s making more than me after my raise last year and I brought up a pay bump to my manager again yesterday, the lack of consideration is the reason I left my last job.

She missed a few days of birth control, we actually went in for an abortion and she backed out during the procedure. Don’t want to be rude but what you’re saying is mostly preached to teenagers in sex ed class to prevent premature motherhood/fatherhood anyways—doesn’t really apply to two consenting adults and regardless once she was officially pregnant it’s not my body or choice, remember? On the other hand the deal from the guy who requested $10,000 to forcefully abstain anyone by kicking them …

They upped it to close to $600 when they finalized earlier this week, because she claimed an additional $200 in child care costs

It’s comments like these that make me want to really dig into the why things are the way they are, and why they aren’t the way they should be. The possibilities for it all to be better are endless, but we seem to have been in a standstill for decades. Dystopia/Utopia-esque topics interest me but I try not to delve too deeply lest I radicalize myself.

I wrote a lengthy paragraph but decided to keep it as short as possible—the quality of the relationship is hard to navigate without the mothers help. I was getting her 2 days biweekly and never knew what her current likes/dislikes were. What she was learning in school, if she still was still supposed to be using the night light, behaviors she should or shouldn’t be doing. (She has autism so every time I see her I’m completely lost) Figuring out activities/food/things to do is also difficult. I w…

I accept that I won’t ever have much disposable income, I’m not sure how others do it with less.

Never married (she still has the ring but I gave up trying to get it back), and I didn’t seek legal counsel but did consider it. When I interpreted $451 per biweekly paycheck which is a lot to me I discussed maybe getting legal counsel with current wifey—but she said it’s not worth it. I’ve heard it can get expensive the way the case drags on and I technically start owing her payments from the moment the case initialized as well… so it would just build up in the background. Apparently it might b…

No we never married, she still has the engagement ring. Unconditional gift kind of thing, I think I remember someone telling me she was legally obligated to return it but that never happened.

I mean I provided all the documents requested including W2’s for this past year which I conveniently received in the mail last week.

I’m pretty confident she’s mine, she has my eyes and hair—and we were together for six years (I was her first boyfriend).

We tried co-parenting but she gave me 0 communication besides an “Outside” text and then me knocking on her door 2 days later— I’d blink and the door would already be closed and I’d head home. Had no idea what she was learning at the time at school, or her new likes/dislikes, do’s/do nots, just vague random details from my daughter that would always leave me more curious about her life. I tried asking the ex to wait up once while I brought my daughter inside so the ex and I could talk and bring …

Pharmacy Liaison for a well-known hospital. When I met the ex-fiancé didn’t have a job, she pressured me to apply to cashier at CVS. Cashier => Pharmacy Technician => Lead Technician => District Trainer => Clinic Pharmacy Technician => Pharmacy Insurance Specialist => Pharmacy Liaison Stick in the right field long enough, wherever it may be and keep putting pressure upwards and it’ll take you somewhere.

It wasn’t a trap, to be honest I don’t think I’d be where I was without her to even be griping about $450 out of my check. Was jobless and in a bad place before her— but… there was no passion, and lots of coldness; we didn’t split ways amicably but its on me for leaving. The cut in pay won’t break me but it’s a reality nonetheless.
