In platonic relationships with women, I've had the opposite experience. I don't have many female friends, but I can remember at least 2 of them who respected my emotions, tried to understand and never saw me as weaker after I opened up to them. One of them in particular still insists to this day that I tell her what's on my mind when she realizes I'm not ok. She respects my boudaries of course, but I know that she's truly there for me, and that nothing will be used against me. I've opened up to …

I mean this is probably not programmed, as others said, these AIs learn from their users. Also the joke wasn't really making fun of men or anything. I believe there was a Chinese AI chat bot thing that learnt from its users, and it ended up becoming a neo nazi, woman hating, elitistic edgelord. Don't quote me on this, but I think there are cases where bots like this one turn to the opposite side too.

Abuse and neglect are two very different things. Being ignored is not the same as being cussed at or beat up.

Of course not. My country isn't very woke other than its big cities, but it certainly doesn't care about me, or anyone else. It's not because I'm a man, or because of wokeness, or anything like that. I just wouldn't risk my life so I could protect the elites' interests, or so that they could claim more wealth for themselves, killing other people in the process. Pretty much every country is extremely corrupt, and nationalism is on the decline, so I'm not brainwashed enough in that area to put my …

"In favour of women"? Why on Earth would you want a cultish movement that exists to make you miserable and take your money to extend its reach so it can include you and other men? We men are lucky that body positivity doesn't apply to us in my humble opinion.

The face of the concept "red pill grifter". Steals other red pillers' work and charges insane amounts of money for it, says literally nothing new, doesn't follow the advice he gives. His followers are pathetic, but he's more so.

The part of Red Pill that make these specific numbers like "wall at 30" mostly consists of guys who read red pill theory but never step out of their house to see it in action, and just builds up on that. Of course there is some truth in the wall, but it's never that specific, and it's never one thing for every person in the world. Some women hit the wall at 23 after years of abusing hard drugs. Some women hit the wall in their 40s. Some men hit the wall at 30, when they get bald and irreversibly…

Yeah sure, and I'm with you on that. "Sorta gf" and not talking for a week suggests it's not a serious relationship to begin with. But many comments here just jump to conclusions. I mean come on, drugs? Cheating? Having a different guy she's serious with? There is little to suggest any of that, and while all of it is possible, none of it has enough evidence to be deduced by this post.

I said the hooking part because I believe it, never implied you meant something like that. As for the tool analogy, I probably didn't explain what I meant well. What I wanted to say is that money can be used to get something, sure, but that something can be anything. If we take a hammer for example, you can use it to hit things with it, that's the process of using that tool. With money, the process is spending it. The end result of hammering stuff can be putting up a shelf, or it could be head t…

Money is a tool. It can be used to buy groceries and survive, or it can be used to fund a huge initiative that will cure cancer or world hunger or whatever. Red pill sounds like it's about hooking up with randoms at first glance, but that might be a short term goal. Or it may not be. It really depends on the person.

The original commenter already replied, but if I may, I'd like to say that many men who become successful were looking for a relationship while going through hardships and found nothing, only to come out of it rich and experienced, and finding out women want them then. I've heard guys say that after 30, relationships are a no go. I believe it's about wanting to be wanted for who they are, not what they have and what they can provide.

How about uncaring and mean towards men? Uncaring because he scams men into his cult without thinking of the consequences they'll suffer, mean because of the way he treats them and the way he minimizes men's issues by acting like a clown.

I think it depends on what women you talk to. Some of the best dating advice for me came from a female friend. She really focuses on improvement when talking about these things, and not on socializing or waiting for the right moment or whatever else you refer to.

It also works the other way around too. The prettiest girl I know looks like a plastic doll on instagram. It's insane how it's like two different people. Either way, online pictures are a scam.

Funny, I thought the same but on the opposite side of the spectrum. For me, the red pill is useful mostly for its practical advice, and not its philosophy. Guess that's what happens when a community gets so large, you can have different opinions of it and still be right.

I changed my mindset basically. Started working out, lost all extra weight (I had been close to obese all my life). Fixed my speech impediment. Started putting myself out there, which didn't work about half of the time, I had a few fights and clashes here and there. Made some friends. Started being more active in the things I like, gained confidence. Started dressing nicer, fixed my posture. I think the standards haven't gotten higher exactly, they just changed. We've become more superficial to the point where character qualities and connection won't get you far in the dating world, unless you are really lucky. With those things out of the way, very few factors remain, which means that the more you have of those, the better your chances are. If you are hot, you have money, and a few other things going for you, then you'll do fine, and the more of those you have, the better off you'l…

I've been through times when I had only female friends, and I wasn't attracted to any of them. Going through a phase like that now. I share my day with them, my fears and insecurities, my plans, all those things. So of course they mean something to me; they are very important to me actually. And of course I admire some women. I admire certain qualities in all people. I admire having a plan, being dedicated to it and seeing it through to the end. I know many women who go through hardships to get …

Yeah. It sucks that we've been so brainwashed that saving children isn't considered to be the best course of action. But very few people would risk their lives today for the sake of others. Kind of makes you think about how important praise is for this kind of thing. That is if we agree with the article, which I'm not sure I do yet. Seems a bit disrespectful to use those events to promote ideas like that, but then again I'm too dumb to know if it's right or wrong.

What an original idea. You sure solved everything with this post. You obviously have no experience of what it's like navigating the dating world as a woman. It might seem simple to us, but it's just a different experience. As a guy, hell yeah I would love to be that desired by the female population of the world. But it's just not the same. I could try to make some actual points, as this is a CMV post, but I won't even try. Your replies prove that you aren't here to exchange ideas, talk and consi…

A lot of the red pill stuff is surface level as well. Getting muscles and money, faking it until making it, confidence and all that is all good, but it will help with attracting women at best. What about forming an actual bond with someone? What if all the bitterness of the red pill gets to your head while going through the process? What if hookups start to feel empty after some point? The red pill is good for some men, but it's not exactly a complete guide.

I agree. OP is going out of his way to call them names on their own sub. Most of us grow out of this phase when we're 5. And on top of that, he expects them to have a talk with him? In what world would any sane person not treat OP like a troll and just ban, block and ignore? This is embarassing.

Honestly I would be red pill all the way, if not for the hate, insanity, cultish behavior and promotion of actual abuse some of these groups advocate for. Red pill is mostly true, considering all those confidence, working on yourself and all those things, but come on. You can be happy when someone you disagree with has their platform deleted from existence, but being happy about someone dying is in bad taste imo. Even if you think they were an asshole, which in this case I can definitely see why people would. I do know that he insulted and roasted quite a few people, and promoted some horrible ideas, but he also helped a few people. Definitely a polarizing guy. I do spend tons of time with girls who I'm not attracted to, yes. Just like I spend tons of time with guys I'm not attracted to (I'm a straight man). That's how friendship works. Female friends are a potential dating pool, because through them I can meet other girls. Never happened to me yet but the possibility is there, sure. As for the third question, it depends really. I had my eye on FDS since before moderation became strict, and men could post and comment. It was a much different place back then. I will kind of miss cringing at the bad takes and out of reality posts there, and I don't like the fact that Reddit goes around silencing groups. I also missed some hardcore misogynistic subs the same way, it's fun to poke around and make fun of that kind of thing. But FDS preyed on vulnerable women by isolating them and taking their money, so them leaving did some …

Purple pill here I think. No it's not okay to cheat. Virginity, high n count and past doesn't matter. If she asks me to wait for a year, that's what she's offering, and I can either take it or leave it. I'm not going to lie to her face and say I take it while I also take what other girls are offering. If I want sex, I'll be honest and dump her first, then pursue others. And to add to that, if she was ok with the guy sleeping around during the waiting period, and the guy was honest about it, that…

It's definitely not always true. My best friend is a girl, we are very comfortable with each other and I've never once lied to her, and she never once lied to me. I know this because we've shown each other our very vulnerable sides, and we've shared our worst qualities, so there's really no need to lie to each other. I understand that this is a common belief but I don't really get it myself. I've had several female friends over the years, in fact my best friend right now and the closest person I've been with is a girl I met a few years ago. I'm definitely her shoulder to cry on, but she's my shoulder to cry on too. It goes both ways. I don't understand why people let girls use them like that, but those aren't really friends. Good point. You said "options" and the person you replied to said "dating prospects". I just assumed you meant the same, which you clearly didn't, so my bad. I mostly agree, except the point about women wanting men to want them was never true for me. It wasn't until I made it clear to my friend that she and I will never be anything other than friends that she fully relaxed with me and started trusting me more. I don't think it's the women's role to debunk this, seeing as it's a buzzword thrown around in communities that are made for men, by men, and those men congregate in those spaces and pretty much refuse to debate with women about their ideas. It's like me saying, as a guy, that FDS's HVM and LVM ideas are wrong. It doesn't matter to the FDS crowd, they'll just screenshot my opinions, make fun of me and then ignore me. That depends really. I've never heard a woman saying it in real life, but then again I'm from Europe, and most of my friends are European as well, so these things haven't really made their way into our vocabulary yet. But if you go to any dating community, you'll see these terms flying around both from men and women. Even here on reddit, in subs like Dating Over Thirty and other communities. Or on youtube, by some female coaches and their audience. Then again, women usually just say "alpha good,…

I mean, a good counter point to this is the fact that women go around saying they want an alpha male as a partner, so there is some part of the whole thing that is real. Or at least, real enough to the other side for men to take it seriously. But if you're talking about the gurus that promise to make men alphas in exchange for money and all that, then yeah, I 100% agree with the comparison to astrology. It's all a scam. As far as the red pill goes, as well as any other ideology that seems interesting to you, go to it with an open mind and an empty wallet. NEVER pay for an idea, religion, or philosophy. Plus, for the red pill especially, there is pretty much nothing more you can get if you throw money at the creators. Everything is already free online, and has been for 10+ years now.

I agree with the toolbox part. TRP has a lot of information about improving yourself, both financially and physically, and mentally as well to a smaller degree. FDS has a lot of information on how not to get played and manipulated, and how not to waste your time. There is lots of hate on both groups too. At the end of the day I took lessons from both communities, and rejected a lot of what they say. Most normal people do the same, and good for them.

FDS is smaller and has a shorter history. TRP gained so much momentum over the years that it collapsed on its own weight and it split into different subcommunities. On its surface it's actually pretty cool, but there are many sides of TRP that are more toxic than FDS (encouraging lying and manipulation, dehumanizing women, actually talking about abusing women sexually and physically). I haven't checked it out in a long time, but some posts on the married redpill subreddit were pretty shocking ba…

At its core, MGTOW is about being happy with yourself and putting your needs first, and never voluntarily take the second place in your life. At its core, FDS is about choosing the best partner from your countless options and living your best life with them. However both groups have strayed from their core ideologies. MGTOW now mostly consists of men who are afraid of women, while FDS is mostly about convincing themselves that no man is perfect enough to make it for them.

There is hatred towards the other gender in both TRP and FDS, but there are other similarities as well. I would argue that the false information, cult like practices and obvious scam efforts from their top tier content creators are common in both communities and can be seen as bigger problems.

Yeah as the other commenter said, if a guy is interested in you, he won't have dates planned with other people. At all. And if you are dating someone, you refuse all dates any other men offer you. That's a weird way to look at things. In my country, once you start dating someone, you usually keep dating them and only them until one of you decides it's not working anymore, then you move on to the next person. There can easily be an argument about whether the man making more money or being physically stronger creates imbalance in the relationship at all, but I'm just going to point out that there is a difference between a man who makes good money marrying a woman who makes less good money, and a man in his 50s marrying a 18 year old. And also, power imbalance is not always a bad thing, some people are actually fine with it. The goal isn't to have both weights lined up perfectly, it's for the scale to …

This is exactly why I lurk online spaces like this one. Things are VASTLY different in my country. Hook up culture exists but it's not common at all and it's more like a closed community, tinder and other apps are rarely used. I never used social media with my name on them, and no one asked me for them. There are exactly zero people who take steroids, and fat people are few, pretty much everyone is either skinny or a bit overweight, with a few people working on healthy exercise. Very few extreme…

Absolutely, and in higher degrees. I've talked about it before, but TRP and, for a few years now, MGTOW have descended into cult like patterns as well. The main difference is, TRP is way bigger than FDS. Which means that the negative traits become more widespread. But the same goes for the positive stuff. So while some groups of ascended red pilled gurus straight out say that abusing your wife is good, there is a 0.01% of red pillers that actually follow the good instructions, make themselves be…

I think they're similar, since they both are purchases that make people happy. Incels share their sex doll pictures in their forums and fds women share their ring photos in their subreddit, and people congratulate them. You could go deeper and say both are pathetic and show failure to connect with others, but at the end of the day I'm dumber than most in these things, and I see both as harmless stuff that give happiness. So for the record, I support both.

I always thought youth attracts people; as in, they're attracted to you. What happens afterwards is irrelevant. So if you spend time and connect with someone, you develop feelings for them, and stay with them for as long as those feelings remain. Attraction is mostly important at the start.

MGTOW as a movement that hates all women is not great. That's why many men are theoretically going their own way, but they don't want to identify as MGTOW. Just like incels. I don't think most guys mind getting married to someone who is in her 30s and had hookups and short relationships in her 20s, as long as she wants to be with him too. I think most make it a big deal because there are many women (and men, for that matter) that settle in their 30s, but still wish they could "have fun" with other people just like they did in their 20s. If those people are given the opportunity, they will go ahead and do it, so the relationship won't be stable or permanent. I don't …

The most fun years aren't your 20s. They are usually the years of carefree flings and short term relationships, where you don't put a lot of effort in, sure. But I know people who are now in their 30s and 40s, with their partner, and they are happier than ever. Being committed to a relationship doesn't mean you are not having fun, but I guess it depends on the person.

I think that as women age, the number of available men starts to get smaller. This can be for a variety of reasons; the concept that 30+ women want to have children, relationships become permanent etc. Many guys are afraid to commit, so some tend to avoid trying to date 30+ year old women. That being said, in my experience, women's looks don't begin to fade at 30. 30 is like, peak attractiveness. But if you visit weird communities full of men hating women, the concept of the wall changes, and it…

That's just one example, and in my opinion a bad one. Still, your point stands. Men aren't sex obsessed monkeys. Some men are dumb enough to fuck up so they can have sex. Also, the line itself sounds like an excuse; guy wasn't proud of himself so he put the blame on all men. Another thing I'd like to add is that men's sex drive isn't so complicated to undestand. It's usually higher than women's. It's not exactly rocket science.

I don't like to overgeneralize, but might as well share my experience. I'm a guy. I know how things work with guys. But I only found out how creepy dudes are at 14, when I started joining anonymous online chat rooms. Not sex themed or anything. I'd state my age, which was clearly way below the age of consent for most countries. I tried pretending to be a girl out of curiosity once, and that opened a huge can of worms. Now, that's online only, and it's anonymous, people are protected. I obviously…

I'd say makeup and stuff like that, those products put pressure on women way more than they do on men. I don't know the prices, but I'd say it can be way more expensive to use makeup daily than buying jewelry once a year.

Other than the fact that women can of course be insecure, guys just want to feel appreciated, valuable and worthy of one's time or attention. Men know there's 100 guys who are 10 times better than them hitting on you right now. It doen't feel good. Guys just put the blame on women to vent.

I feel called out because I do not like FDS, but I don't hate them, and I do think FDS could be bad for everyone that follows the advice there. Like Married Red Pill, it can be effective, but when you read stuff like "there is no love in marriage", I can't help but think that it's a pretty bad deal overall.

But a 9 year old cannot give consent. At all. It's impossible. Any sexual interaction a 9 year old can have with an adult is statutory rape, and it is always FORCED. And yeah, sure, pedophilia is the attraction to children, not the act of raping them, so I guess academics can say that they're different things.

Yeah, porn is a personal thing, it has nothing to do with you probably. Maybe the guy needs time or something. Relationships are complicated.

I see what you mean. Some can do both, to a degree at least, I guess. I know very little about this, as I've never watched porn or had a relationship, but maybe porn feels safer, in a way. It's not easy to connect. At least for some people this could be what starts a porn problem. I could see myself like that.

I myself am one of those who don't get this. I know many people in relationships watch porn, men and women. I guess I don't understand when it becomes a problem, other than the severe cases where the guy just stops showing any affection and closes himself to his masturbatorium. I just thought it was more rare.

Men's sex drive definitely does slow down, depending on the circumstances. Men are not sex obsessed animals who just go around wanting to cheat on their wives/girlfriends. And I know for a fact that some women do hit on guys and seduce them, even though they are in monogamous relationships themselves. I'm not saying you're wrong though, this does sound about right. I just think it's an overgeneralization.

Well, if my interpretation of the post is correct, that means that the amount of rules means very few men can make it through, which in turn means that some men who are worth it will be left behind. That might cause problems, since having very high standards might make you end up alone in the end. Never said I agree with OP, by the way. Also this isn't what the OP said, it's just my interpretation of the post.

The way I see it, OP's point is that FDS rules might be a bit too strict, and block out many men who could potentially be worthwhile to be given a chance. By having many rules, the chances for men to get through them are low. Not trying to be rude here, but I don't think anyone's opinions should be disregarded because of their status. OP might be unattractive, but we should look at the opinion, not the person who states it. This is what this sub is for; blue pilled people might consider red pill…

It's amazing how some of them are furious at the fact that men don't want to "step up" and spend their lives taking care of their mistakes. Like, just put yourself on the position of any man on the planet, why on earth would you want that? Sure there are exceptions but generally speaking, why spend your time and money on someone else's family when you could have your own?

If he wanted to have his dick wet, he'd go after the less attractive women. Was it Plato that said that in love, physical attraction comes first? Maybe the guy lusts after the most attractive women, but doesn't love them yet. They just caught his eye. In order for lust to turn into love, other factors come into play, and he'll begin to know if the person deserves his love after spending time with them. Or the guy's an idiot. That's also a very real possibility.

I don't know where you see all these things. Men I know are rarely so horrible. For most, marriage automatically means you have to support your partner emotionally, encourage them to pursue their dreams, and all that jazz. Raising children is done by both parents. Companionship, I guess. I want someone I can feel comfortable sharing interests, experiences, all that stuff. Also doing stuff I won't, that'd be nice too (but not 100% necessary), for example, I can't cook at all so I wouldn't mind being with a girl who can. I do think the whole "get him while you're young" thing is wrong, but i believe it's not entirely based on the young woman's attractiveness. I think it's about being in a specific phase in life. When you are in your 20s, you usually focus on your partner in a relationship, and when you're in your 30s you start thinking about family. So when a couple are both in their 20s, they can build a relationship more easily than when they are in their 30s, which will make a stronger connection in the long …

It is a very complicated topic. First of all, did the father know that there was a child coming before he left? If not, then he's 100% innocent. If he knew, then yeah, he's just as responsible as the mother, and the fact that he left is a huge dick move. But it gets more complicated. You have a point, I didn't express myself correctly. Everyone deserves honesty, companionship and respect, and everyone should demand those from any relationship, no matter what their age is. What I mean is that usually, women (and men) in their 30s are in a completely different phase than 20 year olds are; they usually have a stable career, a house of their own, and they are looking for something actually serious, permanent even. At 20, you are still finding out what you are looking for. As a 1…

Nah. Women don't suddenly become unattractive at 30. It's just that when you are younger, people think it's easier to be with you. A 20 year old, man or woman, won't expect too much out of a relationship, while a 30 year old typically will. As a younger guy, it would be pretty scary for me to attempt to have a relationship with a 30 year old. But it's all in the stereotypes, I'd say. Nothing to do with attractiveness.
