I think it is a little trickier than that because there exists a line of thought that it’s not the same when reversed or that it’s okay to be sexist towards men because they’re actually a threat whereas women are not. My thoughts are thus: I oppose racism, sexism, etc, because I believe it’s fundamentally unethical to treat someone badly because of characteristics they aren’t in control of.
