There’s nothing to argue. OP should leave his sorry, pathetic, misogynistic ass. Any man who wants submission is a piece of shit.

That’s literally what submissive means tho… having no spine.

I skimmed honestly… I’m… yeah no words 😶

Seriously. I don’t understand women who still buy into this bullshit of being “meek” and “submissive”. I have no respect for people like that.

Pretending men have been “providers” when the only good thing they are good for is dying lol there has never been any time in history where men have “protected” or provided for women, they have only used us as domestic slaves.

I ask him to go to war and die. Can’t get more old fashioned than than that since mammoths are extinct 😟

As long as men keep making the laws and being in positions of power we won’t be safe. This is why the idea of individual “empowerment” is useless. I’m all for women learning to defend themselves, I think is really important, but it’s only the start.

I’m also as tall as an average dude in my country and have muscled/big frame, combine that with my preference for short/medium hair styles and rarely wearing make up (I work in a lab, it’s a big no! I might wear it outside but rarely) men always try to make me feel lesser, even telling me that “I’m a failed woman” (this dude actually tried to flirt with that line). lol I used to feel bad about it as a teen but now I just laugh at their stupidity.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/04/21 05:08 PM

I hate tall men, especially those who date extremely short women. Seems to me they are just looking for someone easier to control (in their sick mind)

Moana is one of my favorites.

Of course you love Cinderella, because you worship “femininity” (which by the way is imposed on us since birth), she doesn’t really buck the system, so she’s “safe”. Mulan in the movie in not “exceeding” the men’s skills, it’s being true to herself and realizing she doesn’t have to be trapped by the feminine role imposed on her. The song is supposed to be ironic since Mulan is not a man, and unlike the men she solve her problems with not just brawn but brains. That say, I hated Mulan still ends …

Lol are you high? I swear this sub has brain worms. Also the ballad of Mulan is a classic story.

Mulan had already training in combat in some versions of the legend, here however her combat prowess is born of some “special” power not out of herself.

Ugh. I’m gonna go back and rewatch the animated one. This new one sounds like crap.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 08:01 PM

The newest live action version makes her even weaker. Now the only reason she can fight is because of some “special” power.

Upvoting you because seriously 😒 it’s a cute movie but it’s not “feminist”

Male physicists are truly one of most arrogant, self-absorbed academics I’ve met. Even as undergrads the male students acted really cocky.

I’m doing a PhD in bioengineering and the number of mediocre men I’ve met is staggering(not white but latinos, then again they are cut from the same mold), I love the one’s without a bio background that try to explain me basic bio concepts (my bg is in bio). Luckily my cohort is 4 women to 1 man ratio. I wish you the best of luck! ❤️

Never fails. I got accused of being “oppressive” and “using a slur” because I answered to a guy with an “Incel inside” meme (he was an incel o just using incel logic)

I had been there. It hurts like hell and I’m still recovering from it. In my case every time I pulled away he would come look for me, because he wanted to keep “using me”.

But they are totally the “rational” gender sure 😂

God, I hope she gets the tattoo and dumps him. The only happy ending. My 60 year old mother and me want to get matching tattoos after her fight with cancer, this guy sounds like a pos.

They are not protectors, this is why we all need to learn to protect ourselves. Can’t depend on them. Edit: lol men answering to this with “don’t generalize” you’re not helping.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/07/20 05:25 AM

Exactly. The idea of men as “protectors” is flawed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/07/20 12:39 AM

Men never protect, except from other men, and that’s just in “theory”. Most men I know will stand for random dude because of some “brotherhood” bullshit.

This sounds like my friend. He doesn’t hit her, but he goes through her phone, text her friends to see if she’s “cheating”, cries and guilt trips her to stay. And every other month she comes crying because she wants to leave him but it’s afraid no one else will want her...

It’s true. Took me a while to get it 👍

I love Mr. Darcy. Sadly most modern romance novels seem to be trying to sell porn and abuse to women.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/07/20 01:40 AM

Same with stories like Cinderella. The archetype has existed forever. They are not feminist characters because feminism is a political movement, but it’s important to analyse them under a feminist lens.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 05:25 PM
6

I can’t believe people are defending some hypothetical man lol
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 05:12 PM
2

LOL so your problem is that you think any female character who is not a passive actor is automatically “a man”? Women have always been soldiers and fighters, that doesn’t make them men. Most modern disney princesses are not sword wielding heroes yet they actually get stuff done. Anna and Elsa? Moana? All the “pushback” seems to be against older princesses who frankly weren’t very interesting characters. Most media is still saturated with girls who solely exist to look pretty and find a man. All …

It’s so awful! Leaving food/crumbs here guarantees bugs, no kidding. We have to be very through when cleaning (I also have 4 dogs, cleaning outside must be done daily) I just don’t get how people can live like this...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 07:27 AM

Same. My room can get messy but jesus... never like this.

What a fucking loser. Most comments are good but there a few who claim is normal to “raise your voice” if you’re a man to show dominance 😒
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 06:05 AM
1

Most older disney princesses were there just to be rescued by a dude (usually LVM). And any deviation from that made them “masculine”
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 02:48 AM
2

Best comment 👍👍 all this trying to reframe older disney princesses as “good role models” because of their passivity and lack of independence (but hey, it’s just “disdain for the feminine” 🤨) it’s sickening.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 02:44 AM

Much better than older disney princesses.

I have 4 dogs and it’s not cheap!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 02:35 AM
2

Yes! I always related more to Cruella (except for the whole hurt animals parts 😂). But even here people look up more to awful characters/storylines like Cinderella, or just misinterpreted Mulan, it’s sad. This silly division of the “masculine” and “feminine” and how women are expected to “remain kind no matter what” and any deviation from this script makes you “less feminine” it’s poison.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 02:31 AM
3

Oh good being “obedient” how powerful 🥴 did you even watch the movie? She felt uncomfortable being traditional feminine and even failed her tests.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 02:25 AM
3

Where are you getting this? Girls are still expected to be feminine and passive, GNC girls and women like me get no respect. This division of masculine and feminine is silly. Cinderella 3 is the only movie where she shows actual backbone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 02:23 AM
6

I was abused too and not all us have the option to remain “kind”. Waiting for a man to rescue is silly, femininity is submission.

Of course she’s a SAHM lol, shocked.

Women have been trying (and taken) to enter into those “dangerous” jobs. There are women soldiers, firefighters, police officers, miners... Guess who is keeping us away?

I used to have a male friend who did this constantly. He thought it was “cute” to call me “lazy”, “useless”, etc until I started teasing him back, then he would throw mantrums or get really quiet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/07/20 01:29 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
