It’s not rare, but in some places it’s somewhat uncommon.

It is up to couples to decide what works best for them based on their individual situations and desires in a relationship. My husband pays for 90-95 percent of everything because we follow traditional values, but for others they might believe in equality and want to do things 50-50.

Very blunt and very factual.

I personally wouldn’t make significant sacrifices for someone who isn’t a husband.

Even if I wanted too, I can’t, I’m too busy between family life, friends, work, studying, working out. It also wouldn’t be good for my future career regardless of if I ‘won’ or ‘lost’. Also there is no way my parents would let me meet some guys I don’t know.

What culture is idolizing single moms? I think the vast majority of people acknowledge that it isn’t the best situation to end up in. I think it could be argued that there is an increasing tolerance of single parenthood in some places, but there is definitely NOT any idolizing going on. I’m genuinely curious, what are single parents supposed to do when they end up in this situation? Do the same as their ex partner and walk out on the kid to avoid being a single parent? I think that would be wors…

Hm, so pointing out your sloppy look is controlling to you? I hate to see what kind of employee you are if you can’t take tiny doses of criticism.

I will state my opinions as I please, if it offends you, so be it. We live in a free society, you have the right to be offended.

Yes, I said to dress appropriately and still stand by that.

According to me they are cool but not necessary to be dressed nice.

Heels and suits aren’t necessary but definitely appreciated.

Not all societal changes are good. The rise in obesity is bad, going out poorly dressed is bad, smoking meth in the middle of the road is bad. Just because society says something is good or acceptable doesn’t mean it’s correct. But if you want look like a goblin in public, that is completely your choice, murica freedom 🦅🇺🇸🍔

Not living in the 50’s isn’t an excuse to be in a shopping center in pajamas. I think the term proper attire is pretty straightforward, wear clothing appropriate for the setting and occasion. There are lots of fashion guides you can find online to help you.

At first I read ‘shit on tons of guys’. It’s very reasonable not to want a girl who shits on men, or has been with lots of men. Have any preference you want.

Thank you for explaining, I was confused initially because I didn’t know what sexuality had to do with freedom but now I know what you mean. Thanks for the input.

I won’t answer a question to a place I’m not familiar with. I will only speak about places I’m familiar with.

I can only speak for countries and places Im personally familiar with. Hence why I won’t mention Africa, Australia, center Asia, etc.

I don’t know if I fully agree with that, but I guess it’s just semantics. I feel that women of many countries are just as free if not more free than in America. Most of Europe is very free, some arguably more free than America, lots of Asian countries are also great. Actually, as a woman I feel more free in France than I do in the US.

You probably come from a culture where people don’t dress properly. With all due respect.

I was raised to always be dressed properly when leaving the home, and even while at home, one should be dressed properly during waking hours because guests could arrive.

There is a very big issue of American women not taking care of themselves. Even for basic things like cooking, actually wearing clothes and not going to Walmart in jam jams.

Would working towards understanding mens issues benefit me in any way?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
