Haven't been up Sydney's North Shore, I am guessing it is an upper class area like Toorak in Melbourne, posh mansions yet a heavy Greens area where they sit and drink expensive coffee, spend shitloads on clothes and eat at fancy restaurants but still still go on about women being oppressed. ​

I dislike Facebook also. When I did have it, all it was was an attention seeking/ego boost platform, or a misandry preaching platform, or both. Especially a lot of the older women who would shit on men all day while playing Bingo Blitz, then post shit like "Why can't I find any men to date?" My news feed would stack that crap up; in the end I just said nah.

TV in Australia is catered to women. We either have 1000 "dating reality shows" (Bachelor/First Dates/Married at First Sight/Take Me Out) etc or feminist panel shows (Sunrise could come under this) And of course you're spot on about the ads. They are either the "respect women" ads or the ones that aren't have the women depicted as smart, sensible and skilled while the men are depicted as stupid, clumsy or immature.
