If you didn't immediately bail when she said she was 17, I'm hoping you're under 18 too. Your only real fuck up was worrying about it this long. There are a ton of others out there. Go lift, you'll be fine.

Basic TRP theory has indicated the opposite order - change the actions and the mindset/character follows. That's why the #1 advice on here is "shut up and go lift". A newbie doesn't understand why that's such a big deal until the lightbulb goes off after a few months of lifting and he realizes some changes have happened. "Fake it 'til you make it" works. I get the theory of what you're saying, but it goes contrary to established experiences and advice here on TRP. If you change a mindset before …

You've put a lot of value on other people and how their opinions and actions define your value. This is not the way to see yourself. Your value is defined by you and your actions. Don't go lift for some girl, lift to be the best physical version of yourself you can. Don't do cool shit like learn languages and the piano to impress some girl, do it so that you're a more interesting man and have interesting hobbies. Honestly I think part of your problem is that you're too idle. This is something I …

It's a big shit test, but it seems to me going back to basics will solve it. For example 1, never discuss TRP principles directly. If the conversation comes up, A+A and redirect. In today's world you'll rarely convince a western woman that a male led relationship dynamic is the way to go through a rational conversation. Don't try. If you try, you've lost frame. If you somehow get forced into the conversation, a simple comparison to the captain and first mate relationship dynamic is as deep as yo…

Don't tell her. And as a general rule, the less women actually know about you, the better. You want to keep a bit of a mystery about you. If she presses you hard on your history, apply the shit test methodologies.

NEED to do that? Nah, but she's gonna fuck someone anyway. May as well be me.

Definitely stick to TRP then, it helps you with what you want to accomplish, just for different reasons.

Sort of, not really. The core goals of TRP relate to sex. To quote Frank Underwood(I think), "Everything is about sex except sex. Sex is about power." If you feel like you've got the sex/relationship aspect of your life nailed down (fair warning - you probably don't), then the rest of TRP applies, just take away the end goals. TRP is self improvement and focusing on yourself, becoming the best man you can possibly be, both physically and mentally, because that will drastically improve your sex/r…

Believe it or not, you have to practice not giving a fuck. I have the exact same problem as you right now, though I've made significant progress recently. It's just like cold approaches, you'll be nervous for a while, and eventually you won't care as much. If that fails, I always sneak a shot before I go out because it helps me relax. It's a crutch I have to remove eventually, but for now alcohol works. TL;DR: Go lift, but lift with your social muscles, not just your physical ones.

One thing you don't go into that could be particularly dangerous(from a weight loss perspective) is WHEN to do one of these cheats/refeedings. I had to re-start my weight loss several times early on because of "cheat days" or "refeedings" that led to me falling off the wagon. I never had much self control anyway, and you combine that with the cravings, mindset, and mental gymnastics of a fatty, and this refeeding and cheat day thing is a recipe for disaster. Laying out some hard rules for when t…

A little introspection might be in order. You're attacking a political candidate for reasons that have little to do with politics, and in my opinion have lost frame doing so. Is he truly RP? Does it even matter? There are real-world, practical lessons to be learned from him and his success in light of the environment he's in. Maybe he's a BB, or maybe he's just using his two resources, money and status, to keep a model 10/10 wife, even if only for a while. I'd argue it's not a terrible sexual st…

My old room mate was pulling 18-21 year olds at 31. Don't sweat the age, if you give 'em the tingles, it makes no difference. A lot of people have focused on the age thing, so I'll leave it at that. You can't necessarily control what your family thinks of you, but what you can control is how you respond to it. Don't be seen as emotional, don't get into emotional arguments, and stay the hell off of Facebook. Record any further conversation with your ex or family. Check the legalities, many states…

I used to be a very competitive WoW player (top 20 US) and gave it up. If you get into lifting, reading, and an additional hobby or two (for me it was shooting and boxing), you won't have all that free time or, after a while, desire. Selling the console will remove the temptation. You can get that competition high elsewhere with more productive hobbies.

Your problems and shortcomings aren't symptoms of your "depression" - it's the other way around. Because you're sitting around moping, you're not accomplishing anything, making you feel like shit, and you're taking the easy way out by blaming a condition you can't help. Take the standard TRP advice - go lift, get a hobby, do something, with yourself as the focus. It's that simple. It's not easy, but it's simple. If it was easy, everyone would do it. When I was in your position, I made a DRASTIC …

This is an awesome idea. What about two different challenges for newbies and the more advanced among us? For the newbies, specifying an approach to use is a great idea, because it eliminates any excuse of, "I don't know what to say". It would serve the purpose of eliminated AA. Of course the challenges would work up to something more complicated or advanced, like approaching groups or something.

This was meant to be focused on the difference between giving a number(via card) and taking her number. But I see what you're saying - someone below her SMV with an impressive job title screams beta bucks and dropping the card gives her attention/validation for free. Not the direction I'd planned for this to take, but a good thought nonetheless.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
