Sounds incredible, that's awesome you had the opportunity to experience that lifestyle. Are there any requirements beyond the willingness to live the life of a monk?

That's very interesting. I'd love to hear more about your experience at the monastery. Was it in India or the West? What was your day to day life like while you were there?

Alnwick is the worst. Loughborough and Leicestershire and Gloucestershire etc have enough letters that stumbling on the pronunciation is almost expected for someone unfamiliar with them. But Alnwick looks easy, just rattle that one off, no problem. 'Ahlnwick' I said. Wrong, there's a silent 'l' and a silent 'w'. Same goes for Masham and Reading and I'm sure plenty of other villages whose pronunciation hasn't kept up with the evolution of the English language since the early middle ages. I enjoy …

That is incredibly smart. I love medjools and not a huge fan of degletts but medjools are hard to find in stores where I live for some reason. Definitely going to look into this. Thanks man!

Near* Füssen, but the town is not in the photo. Looks like the view of the old palace from right next to Neuschwanstein. Still a really nice area and the actual town of Füssen is quite nice. I enjoyed hanging out there more than visiting the palaces because the hordes of tourists don't usually stop in Füssen.

Same here. We NFPs seem to be in the minority round here but w/e, we all came to the same conclusions somewhere along the way.

Very cool stuff man, hope it all grows well. Out of curiosity, have you done the potatoes before? And if so how many do you expect to get from your current crop?

My parents homeschooled me for religious reasons. I can say when I started public school in high school I was way ahead of everyone else (AP calc sophomore year for example). I'm no worse for the indoctrination (which my mom has apologised for) now that I have gone off and come to my own conclusions regarding religion and I was mgtow before I knew the term as I was taught promiscuous women are quite literally sent to tempt you into sin by the devil. Looking back I'm grateful for being homeschool…

In the US, sure. But if you read the article this was in the UK, where racial "abuse" IS punishable (I think, could be wrong). But that's not the issue here. Not only did she run her mouth, but she also assaulted multiple people, including 2 police officers, and resisted arrest. That will get you jail time in the US and should get you in jail in the UK as well, that is if she wasn't born with a vagina.

Hostels, especially in SE Asia, but really any big party destination works from Cancun to Rio to Barcelona. You still need some game + fundamentals, but it's easy mode even back when I did it in my BP university days.

I'm loving this series so far, Tofu, thanks for doing this. Any idea on when your book be ready? I have a few friends that I want to introduce to the community and so far I would feel more confident endorsing this to my close friends than something like the Game.

Why not both? Start at the bar and find an excuse to bring her back to your place after a bit. Logistics!

Problem 2: search for conversation threading or read the sidebar for it. There's a lot of tips for conversation here. Problem 1: It could be what Overlord1995 said, but it could also be an inner game issue. I used to have that problem because subconsciously, I had shitty self-esteem and saw myself very negatively. This translated into subconsciously thinking less of women who were attracted to me. I never actively thought "oh, there must be something wrong with her if she's into me", but it's th…

You're overthinking it haha. If you catch the eye of a cute guy walking towards you, smile, and say hi, I'd say that's just being friendly. Since you're both walking opposite directions, you're probably both on your way somewhere so it's completely normal to keep on going. Odds are you'll exchange "hi"s and be on your way, just a friendly greeting to brighten someone else's day. You're right, though, it is sort of fishing for a conversation. But that's not a bad thing, in fact I think it's great…

And, what would I say after that? I'm afraid of looking stupid. I struggled with this so much at first too. You're putting too much pressure on yourself to be perfect. Say "hi", smile, and then move along. I guarantee no one is going to complain about a cute girl smiling and saying hi to them randomly, and if they do then it's their issue and they are the unsociable weirdo. Once you're comfortable doing that, then you can start making light conversation, but it's all about baby steps.

Check this post out. Haven't tried it out yet myself, but it looks good and I will be trying it next time I'm in a club/dancing situation.

Relevant. I think this article describes a bit about why your patience paid off. Playing it cool and relaxed shows you're secure and not worried about impressing women. You still have to approach and put yourself out there, but appearing like you're not trying while getting results? That's alpha.

I'm assuming OP is English, because hooking up = making out over there. Threw me for a loop too the first time my flatmate walked in one Sunday morning and told me he'd hooked up with 4 girls the previous night.

In my experience, Munich is the most expensive city in Germany, Berlin is much, much cheaper. I definitely recommend it. If you're in that area, also try to hit Prague, both cities have amazing nightlife based on the few days I spent in each city.

Unglaubliche Nacht! Berlin macht ja viel Spaß, ich denke. Hoffentlich kann ich bald wieder besuchen! It's amazing, though, how simply offering some mints turned into such an awesome night. Most importantly, you took the lead and turned what could have been a shitty night for both of you into something you'll both remember for the rest of your lives.

So just BE awesome, and if you're offering what he's looking for, he'll bite. This. You can't "game" your way into a relationship like you can for a ONS. All she can do is show him that she's awesome and hopefully he'll see that and want to be in her life. Trying to play games isn't the way to start a healthy relationship imo.

Let me see if I understand you correctly by doing a tl;dr. You're basically saying that when I approach a girl, she's not thinking 'is he good enough' but rather 'let's see if I think he's going to hurt me or not if I let him in my pants' because it sucks to open yourself emotionally and then be shot down. When I get rejected on the street, I can say 'she doesn't know what she's missing out on', but when a guy dumps a girl after having sex with her, it's a lot more personal. If I'm getting your …

I studied abroad in England as well and I completely agree with Dorman010's advice above, especially on the first point. I even lived in England for 3 years growing up, so I had an advantage compared to most Americans in that I knew a few people coming in and I could relate a bit to the culture right away. It definitely takes a lot more effort to fit in and understand the culture to the point where you can easily integrate with a group the same way you might in the US. My advice (along with Dorm…

Right time right place, that and not letting yourself get in the way. I know a lot of guys who would hesitate saying 'is this for real? this can't actually be happening to me' and lose the opportunity.

If she says she has a boyfriend ask what is his name? I love this, gotta remember it next time. Did you end up trying the whole thing out?

I think girls use shit tests to find out if the guy is a pushover or not, more or less. On a subconscious level, the girl wants to know if the guy will be able too stand up to her or if he's just going to bend over backwards to give her what she wants. Also, if you just handed every guy an exam, would you really be attracted to the guys who completed it? There's no more mystery for you and odds are you'd just go after the guys who didn't take it seriously or threw it away to begin with imo. That…

I definitely agree with you, depression isn't something that can be thought away. This sort of mentality helped me drastically. Instead of sitting around all day thinking about my problems I actively started taking steps to deal with what I could and slowly but surely I am crawling out of my depression.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think OP may be referring to the budget airlines in Europe (Ryanair, EasyJet) where seating generally isn't assigned but it's more or less first-come first-serve at the gate. I think that's why it's such a big deal that he doesn't stand up right away since everyone else is like "whoamg the gate is opening, I need to get the best seat" and rush to the line

It's mostly just from sheer exposure to social situations and new people. You share rooms with 12+ people (the largest room I stayed in was a 50 bed room in Berlin), and there's usually a good amount of new people every day. Unless you get stuck in a room with 6 Chinese guys who speak almost no English, you're essentially forced to socialize with the others, which I found was always a good thing. It felt easier than normal to approach and start conversations; everyone there is travelling so you …
