Orgasms are physically and mentally good for both men and women. Having an orgasm at least once a day is actually really good for you and has a lot of benefits.

Yeah, there are some good ones that are being worked on but for the moment they’re unavailable. Pulling out is extremely inefficient. Most unplanned pregnancy are caused by this method. And yeah, you can get a surgery that then you also will have to reverse if you decide you do want kids. Vasectomies also aren’t 100%. It’s rare but it is still possible to get a woman pregnant with one. Not great options compared to women who have hundred different choices to choose from. There’s also that becaus…

Same. I had some annoying side effects with the pill but after switching to the arm implant I haven’t had to worry about it for years and have no side effects. I also don’t have to deal with a period anyone lol Honestly I feel like a good thing about being a women is women have lots of options for contraceptions. Men’s only choice is a condom

I like to think more people are starting to realize this sub isn’t evil and trying to hurt women. It’s just addressing and wanted to change situations where men’s rights are taken or they are treated unfairly. I never see crazy sexist things on here in the years I’ve been involved. I feel like it’s just something feminists say to get all the attention. Honestly I’ve been treated better on this sub than any feminist subs I’ve been in.

Sorry, assumed maybe you were actually interested in learning about both sides to make an informed decision but I guess just assuming your opinion is right without looking into it is easier. My bad. Wish you the best too!

Yes anyone can be manipulated but those who are mentally unwell have a much higher chance of be susceptible to it. It’s not some crazy things there are literally studies and phycological tests that have been done which prove that they can fall for manipulation a lot easier than a well person. Mainly because people suffering with mental ill health are vulnerable. Someone can be living well with their mental health for a long time and then have a relapse, at the point they are relapsing they can b…

Yes, but someone who is severely mentally ill, autistic, and has an IQ of 80 would be at a higher risk for falling for manipulation. Anyone with either one of those disabilities would be. It’s not some rare thing that happens either

No the guy shouldn’t be free, but Gypsy encouraged him to kill. He had never committed serious crimes and then manipulated him to kill. She admitted she would change her personality when his did so he’d do what she said. He should be admitted but it’s not fair to say this guy was unhinged when he probably would never have done this without the encouragement she gave him. I also get why she did it it but the way he was treated was definitely not fair. Some doctors even said he wasn’t fig for tria…

I definitely agree with you. Like whiles there are some suspicious sides to it she was using self defense. I feel like given what happened to her it would have been a lot better for her if she got court ordered physiatrist care to help her adjust to the real world. They guy should of because he is mentally ill

I was against it because I was in feminist groups who said the mra were the bad guys. I was young and thought I was supposed to be feminist because I’m a women and they always said if you’re not a feminist something’s wrong with you essentially. ( internalised misogyny) Eventually I started noticing double standards and ways men were treated unfairly. As well as lot of holes in feminist arguments. I wouldn’t say that a lot of people see it as okay, but I think they go way easier on the woman and they can cheat for little reason. Like she could say he like wouldn’t hang out with her instead of his friends one night so she cheated on him and women will be like “yeah he deserved it”. Definitely would not happen the other way around

The whole point of my comment was saying people need to stop idealizing her as a hero. That was it. If you agree with that why are you arguing against it? I said multiple times she had right and reason, but she shouldn’t be considered a hero. If you don’t think she is a hero, then what exactly was the point of this whole thing?

She was sheltered and had no idea these things existed, but was on the on dating sides, social media, and other websites. They even found she had look things up about murder. She also talked to the man for years, an autistic man too who is now serving life in prison after she manipulated him the long period of time with sex if he would kill her. The whole narrative that’s she was a dumb girl who didn’t know is just to make it seem okay that you’re finding a murderer to be a hero(and encouraging …

Yeah, there’s articles out there. But you very rarely see those in mainstream. The majority are all for women. Not to mention I searched articles about pleasing your man in bed and just on the first page was 5 articles ( one being the first one) about getting help for being a people pleaser, 2 were articles about women saying we should stop worrying about pleasing men in bed, then a bunch of the rest of them had nothing to do with sex. Just about everyday reaction with men And the points were li…

Mentioning that people shouldn’t just focus on women and should stop thinking that a guy just has to orgasm to enjoy sex isn’t saying anything about the orgasm gap. You should know there’s more to sex than just the ending. Yes, there should be info about what helps women orgasm but with female orgasm it normally varies widely on each individual. The woman should communicate with her partner and he should want to help. It’s estimated that 30-50% of women have female orgasm disorder - they’re unab…

She convinced her that she can’t get help, yet she was able to go online and get some guy to murder for her. There are thousands of help lines online and places to reach out for help. Thousands of things made to help people stick in abuse and they’re not hard hidden or unknown. She was able to be alone long enough to convince someone to kill, but not attempt to get help? Imagine if you told a woman she wasn’t tight enough and she alone wasn’t enough for you sexually. Like when it comes to women if you ever say anything negative about them sexually you’re a dick, but women can hate on guys dick all they want. It’s always about what the woman wants sexually. All I see constantly are posts/ articles about men needing to learn how to please woman cause they’re the most important but never women need to consider what men like too

So in situations where people are being treated like this, planning and recruiting someone to violently murder someone else is completely okay and just? Any child whos mom is isolating them and not properly taking care of them should be allowed to plan and commit murder? She was able to go and find some guy to murder for her. She could have tried to get help. And I’m not saying she didn’t have reason or that she should be in prison longer. But she shouldn’t be idealized as a hero
/r/MensRights30/12/23 11:11 PM

No, that wasn’t justified either. Him getting off with absolutely no legal consequences at all was wrong. But the two cases are completely different and can’t be compared. A kid who was in the middle of a riot and shot two people out of fear (did not plan this) isn’t the same as someone who took the time to plan a murder, recruiting someone to help, and setting up all the means for it to happen. She was able to go and find some guy to murder for her. She could have tried to get help. And I’m not…

I had a friend who dated this girl for 6 years. She was pregnant when they started dating and he helped her raise the kid. Paid for everything, watched her for her, was always there no matter what. Then he finds out she’s been sleeping with someone else for year and when he confronted her she told her he’s never allowed to see her kid again and said she’s telling the kid he’s a monster and was just pretending to be nice. This point of this post isn’t suppose to be a debate about paper abortions. It’s the fact that so many feminists have this narrative of men. That this view of men is pushed and accepted as true. Feminist can say horrible things about men and people listen and if you disagree with it you’re sexist But in the topic of it, some of big reasons I see feminist use for legal abortion are: It violates reproductive freedom- the right to choose when you become a parent which is a basic human right accordi…

Yeah, that’s always how they are. Like women are the only ones who are abused/ victims. Same with suicide, I’ve mentioned it and they instantly go to women do it too. I’ve literally been told women have better reason to kill themselves than men. Like, you can care about both. It’s not one gender or the other. Being able to say men are treated unfairly in society too isn’t taking anything away from women’s right. I assume it’s just cause they want to make it seem like being a women is so much wor…

This is a little different but it’s about bias in courtrooms A study done by the university of Illinois gave over 300 judges a handful of cases. All almost identical except for gender. They found “Judges in the shared-custody case were more likely than laypeople to give a mother more time with a child than a father. The judges gave mothers, on average, about half a day more time with their children than they gave fathers. Laypeople awarded 0.15 of a day more time to mothers. The judges’ tendency…

Right? I grew up with just my mom and she was severely mentally ill. Didn’t take care of me and brothers, disappeared for days on end, would get zoinked out on pills for days in bed, was very mentally abusive. When I was 13 I had to drive for the first time in the middle of the night cause my mom woke me up in severe withdrawal and told me to take her to the hospital. I live where this happened and all over my Facebook are posts about how she’s a hero. Like, she killed someone. How is this idealized? And if it’s okay to murder someone who treated you bad, at what line is it not okay to murder someone out of revenge? Not to mention her mother was mentally ill and probably just needed help. Now she never can cause she was murdered and her life stolen. There’s hundreds of other options she had other than murder her own mother

It would make sense cause I’ve always heard when women attempt their method is always something they can still get help for/ change their mind. I saw an article once where they were talking about how women do this cause a lot of the time they don’t actually want to die, there’s another reason behind it. Even if they attempt more, men succeed way more. Feminist always try to say it’s because their masculinity keeps them from asking for help, but 75% of men who have attempted suicide reached out f…

One thing that people can’t seem to grasp is that feminism and the men’s rights movement can coexist. Both men and women have serious issues that need to be addressed and brought awareness to. Bias wise, they believe if you support men’s rights, you’re sexist. For me being a woman I’m told I have “internalize misogyny”. You think if a man hit is wife but didn’t use all his strength so it didn’t hurt as much people wouldn’t care? They would. Domestic violence is about using violence and threats to control someone, and women do that just as much as men and both aren’t okay

Men have always struggled with eating disorders but since it affects women more that’s where all the focus went. It made it harder for them to recover cause people either wouldn’t except they had an eating disorder because of their gender or didn’t think it was possible and most programs for recovery are for women. It doesn’t surprise me with all that’s going on that the number of men effect is rising. God knows though no one’s gonna hear about it and help the poor boys. Men are always left behi…

While women liking a cut penis better is a horrible reason to support the mutilation, it’s actually not true. There have been a lot of studies done on how it affects women. Medically it’s been proven that uncut will feel better. Socially, they asked women who have been with both which one was better and 75% days uncut. When they asked women who only had been with a cut man 54% said they prefer cut, but they’ve never been with an uncut man so that means they’re basically just going after looks an…

This. People lose their shit if you call it female circumcision instead of FGM. They’re both horrible acts against humanity. What really sucks to is a big argument for cutting boys is because “it looks better”. Like what the fuck? Imagine if you said that as a reason for FGM. Yeah, I think it just depends on how you view others with different ideologies. If you talk and debate about the topics now and again, rather than argue and question their morality over opinions, you’d be fine. I know some people that think if you go against their beliefs on some controversial topics you’re evil, some that don’t think of others differently because they don’t think the same

The hardcore ones I don’t think I could. A lot of my co workers have some of the more extreme feminist views but we’re still cool though we don’t really hang out outside of work. They bring it up sometimes but I just don’t say anything to not cause hostility, especially since I’m their manager. Oddly enough while I stay away from feminism and have been active in the men’s rights community for five years, my boyfriend was actually a lot more towards the feminist side when we met. In my opinion I’ve seen way more men actually showing anxiety symptoms, and they may not even realize they have it because of our bias mental health care/ education. I do however see women who act and seem in every way normal then cry “I have anxiety cause I got nervous this one time” “I’m mentally ill so you can’t get mad at me for (x)” It’s honestly so frustrating they use a serious illness to get attention and away with shit, while others are struggling and many men aren’t even aware of their…

It’s messed up. I have a chronic sever anxiety/ depression disorder. Was able to find help to treat it and cheap pretty quick despite the amount of shit needed for correct treatment. When my boyfriend was going through a devastating time we never could find someone to work with us to get him help. It was one of the most despicable things I’ve seen
/r/MensRights05/08/19 11:39 AM
3

For sure probably has affects. Mental illness in men is too commonly pushed aside. We see people constantly trying to blame male suicide being so high as men not being able to talk about their problems. But studies have shown us most men would seek help in the year before but couldn’t get the proper care as most resources are focused on women. They can’t get the help they need and their illness consumes them. It breaks my heart this happens and no one wants to address it
/r/MensRights05/08/19 11:28 AM
6

Sadly this is proven over and over with every new study. They choose methods that can be stopped or likely won’t work because suicide isn’t their actual motive. It’s messed up when you think about. That’s a horrible manipulation tactic and damaging to those around who care about them

For some reason this idea just never takes off even though it makes perfect sense. I think MRA and feminism should just be able to coexist, but both sides are at least partly at fault for this not happening One group specifically focusing on men’s rights, one women’s
/r/MensRights05/08/19 10:06 AM

I believe the negative impact shown of men in media is a problem to address for any change to be taken seriously. If all anyone sees are people trying to make correlations between men and violence, it has an impact And yes, it’s most commonly a single mom. This doesn’t change that they still are more likely to commit the crime

I read this feminist article where they stated in response to anti-feminist who said other women have it worst than women in first world countries; “just because one is suffering more doesn’t make the others issues invalid” So even they think women have it worse than men, why can’t they see their problems as valid? They should listen to what they preach.

That’s why I pointed out this doesn’t include abortion, because there are many that see it as such though it’s not. It’s the killing of an infant. The only time it’s argued abortion could be included is with late term abortions, though I still don’t think it should be seen as the same because of why those generally happen. I don’t think whoever made this post realized that mental health along with the environment they’ve been exposed to is a huge cause of violent crimes, not just a person being …

I agree we can never be what is seen as traditionally equal. I see it as we’re equal but different. Each gender has different things they have a biological/ natural advantage over. We each have our own strengths and weaknesses. In relationships too. Not everyone knows or thinks about it. You think you’re in love and she ends up stealing everything you have. I think men need to start being more careful no matter what

With how many people love commenting how they like circumcision, it’s hard to know since you didn’t put /s MGM is a serious topic in the MRA community that many people try to brush off as not a big deal despite all the evidence against it. So yes, if I see someone spreading false information about it, I will correct them
/r/MensRights13/07/19 04:36 PM

What you’re referring to is smegma. Men and women get it, but yes circumcised men don’t have as much. Women get it the most. It’s actually a very natural and healthy oil your body produces. As long as you’re not going weeks without showering, it doesn’t build up to the point of being noticed. It’s been proven to be very healthy for our sexual health. It’s been proven to help prevent sexual illnesses and STDs, in women it helps keep healthy bacteria that prevents infections. It does that for men …

I was kicked out of a pro-choice group cause this topic came up and I said it was hypocritical to say my body my choice then circumcise your son without his consent. I can’t believe the hate I got for sticking up for a boys right to his body 🤔

Women are just as likely to be predators and even more likely in positions of power (teachers, guards in juvenile facilities, etc.) but they don’t even get jail time/ trialed so of course they’re not gonna be included in this
/r/MensRights12/06/19 04:00 AM

That doesn’t even make sense. Don’t they normal support trans people too? But not if you’re a trans man?
/r/MensRights08/06/19 11:50 AM

Same. I use to believe all that stuff they spew until I started asking questions and talking about men’s issues. Was kicked out of groups, banned from pages and shit, and told I had internalized misogyny. What’s so bad about supporting our men and wanting them to have human rights?
/r/MensRights08/06/19 11:26 AM

The WHO says part of having reproductive freedom/ rights is being able to choose when you become a parent (in the sense of raising a child). Women already have that right but men do not
/r/MensRights08/06/19 08:54 AM

As a woman, member of one of the groups you said has it worse, I can tell you men’s rights are just as valid and important. Even if someone has it worse that doesn’t mean others don’t deserve help in obtaining basic human rights. People like you are why I will never be able to get behind feminism

Support body positivity but not when it’s guys. They always try to say with that and circumcision it’s “different” when dealing with women, then can’t explain how
/r/MensRights20/05/19 11:42 PM

Yeah, I think we should fight for everyone’s rights. That’s my view. You can take it as you’d like. This isn’t a statement directly at reproductive rights, but human rights issue feminist try to make one sided and fight for women only
/r/MensRights20/05/19 12:13 AM

I didn’t say men should advocate for it, I said it’s my stance. I stated what I believe and my views on the subjects. Men and women should both have reproductive freedom. If you don’t agree with that, I disagree with you. It’s that simple. We both know you’re not gonna change your stance, I firmly believe in my stance and haven’t heard anything to question it

So, women having the right to carry to term conflicts with men’s and fathers rights, but also having the right to abort conflicts with men’s and fathers rights? And me saying men and women both deserve reproductive rights is advocating against men? I know pretty well legalizing paper abortions is an uphill battle as many women don’t like the idea of a man not having to give up his paycheck to them and have the same rights as them, but saying it’s pointless and will never happen definitely won’t …

Obviously there are more than just old guys who are against abortion. Never claimed that. Out of the hundred people signing these laws three of them were women. I’m in no way saying women aren’t against abortion. The majority of people making abortion laws are old men. I’m not talking about the general public. Stop trying to find sexism where there is none

Saying men should be able to have paper abortions and reproductive freedom is advocating for men to sacrifice themselves to women? Not seeing that, I think you might just be upset I mentioned women’s reproductive freedom as well.

Kinda hard to fight for a fetuses reproductive rights when they don’t have reproductive systems when aborted ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: not here for an abortion debate. I’m in the sub for men’s rights and not debating women’s rights

I’m 100% pro-choice, being so I also 100% support paper abortions. Everyone deserves reproductive freedom. These laws being passed are ridiculous but I can’t stand the women trying to threaten men’s reproductive rights with forced sterilization because some old guys don’t know shit about abortion. Men aren’t the enemy. The same amount of men support abortion as women. We should be fighting for everyone rights but instead they want blame the everyday guy and make it into a war

It’s actually been shown that most victims tried getting help in the year before their suicide, but there are so little resources for men suffering from depression and struggling, they can’t

I mean this more so I’m the sense that it’s always said that it’s because of the woman. Like the saying “being every good man is a strong woman” Not that this is always the case, just that this is always pushed with every good man when it’s not always because of a woman

There’s a huge healthcare gap Circumcision No domestic abuse shelters or awareness Men are almost just as likely to be raped but no resources for the victims The high amount of young’s boys assaulted by female predators and they get no justice No awareness / help for prostrate cancer though being just as common as breast cancer Honestly there’s a lot, scrolling through this subreddit you can learn about a lot of them

I’m by no means saying there aren’t happy couples and women haven’t helped their SO. I just see this applied to every successful man even if his SO came after his success. Men can be great on their own, some need the support. Not all great things are because of women

I mean, all dicks look different. I’ve only seen one uncut in person and I didn’t think it looked all that different, but I know that doesn’t mean all are like that

I dated a guy who was uncut. Erect it honestly didn’t even look that different, not that it’s gross and unattractive anyway. The only difference is you can really feel it a lot more and in a good way. Like, who would’ve thought having sex with a guy the way we’re naturally suppose to would be better 🧐 Studies have even shown most women who have had sex with both prefer uncut, so why is a “good argument” for cutting genitalia that women will think you’re gross? You’re cutting up a boys penis beca…

I’ve seen some survey studies (I’m gonna look for them again) saying men being more successful is do to pretty much women not exactly wanting to die, just the ‘aesthetic’ of taking pills or some shit like that. I’m not sure how true it is, hence why I want to find it again and see the exact wording and sources. But on another note, talking about male suicide like this is a slap to the face. Even if this was true, that doesn’t make it any less important to help prevent. Plus women are more likely…

Look, let’s be honest. While all genital mutilation is horrible and needs to stop, we can’t try to make MGM the more horrible act. Firstly because we shouldn’t be trying to say one is worse than the other. What will this accomplish? While MGM kills hundreds, and we know it has a higher rate than reported as doctors can put on deaths from complications (will put cause of death from infection or hemorrhaging rather than what caused them: circumcision), FGM is still more deadly and risky. It’s stil…

The only real disadvantage is the anticipation and healing period. It’s still a shorter recovery and there are many ways as an adult they’re better able to help with pain, but many report lots of anxiety before hand and are more consciously aware of it while healing.

You could do what highlighting the maim issues men face that are ignored and why we need to stop attacking MRAs. Like give a bit of info on circumcision, how abuse towards men is normalized in media and how male sexual assault victims are ignored and laughed at

There are many crimes and situations where women use sex and manipulation to get men to commit crimes. Even things as little as “that guy was flirting with me, kick his ass.” Doesn’t justify the actions, but it’s a reality

Personally, I believe if a woman gets pregnant it’s her choice to abort or not. But I also believe strongly in paper abortions. If a woman can choose to be a parent or not, a man should too.

Here’s some. You can find a lot more just googling statistics of male rapes in facilities, but these are the ones I used on my last debate. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/723250-sexual-victimization-in-juvenile-facilities-2008#document/p13 https://www.propublica.org/article/boys-in-custody-and-the-women-who-abuse-them https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/709100-svjfry12-emb-052813#document/p23

“These are damaged, needy, lonely women,” says Pearce, “not necessarily pedophiles.” What. The. Fuck. So we’re gonna ignore that women make up 70% of sexual assaults happening in juvenile facilities? That 95% of boys sexually assaulted in these facilities had female perpetrators (the damn workers, for God’s sake)? The high rates of female teachers assaulting their male students? This is why I will always be a MRA

Exactly. So many people try to defend it like it’s no big deal. What really upsets me is even when people know the risks and effects of circumcision they still say “but it looks weird uncircumcised”. Like, what other body part do you think you should be able to surgely change/ remove on infants because you don’t like how it looks?
/r/MensRights06/10/18 02:27 AM

You can’t prevent them from practicing it, but that doesn’t make them immune to the consequences when said practice causes harm to others and violates their rights.

I never understood how religion was such a good argument to keep circumcision going. FGM is religious but because it’s women being effective that was shut down anyway

Again, if they want to stay single and away from women, that’s completely their choice and I have nothing against that as long as it’s doing no harm to another person. It is ugly words. It’s also spreading hate towards one sex. Similar to what some feminnazis will do about men, and MRM members will freak out about. However, at least there’s always one feminist trying to say “but that’s not real feminism”. Which has always bugged me as they say this but still won’t go against them. I’m asking for…

This isn’t about being exclusive. It’s about how one of the sections of MRM is full of sexist members. It’s the same issue I have with feminism. They say the sexist towards men and crazy feminnazis of the group aren’t actual feminist. But what do they do about it? Nothing. They don’t speak up and disagree with the foul things they say and advocate, they don’t ever go against them. This is me doing something and not wanting people to see this group and think the MRM movement aren’t against this k…

I understand this about them. And you’d think they hate us but they talk about being part of the MRM. Not sure what they’re going at over there
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:59 PM

They use of “association” what a bad choice. The point I’m making is as a group to say we don’t support their actions
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:57 PM
2

Not completely sure, I thought they were like a sub group of the MRM because they’re always saying they’re group is a part of it, but again, they may just be crazy.
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:56 PM
3

But, at one point this was different. I’ve heard of the subreddit before and it use to be way different. It was just men going their own way. Not wanting marriage. However now it’s a different story. We don’t even need to say “no longer associated”. My bad with the title. Jut that we don’t support their opinions. They say a lot in their subreddit they are part of the MRM, so either they’re crazy or this was an unneeded post.
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:53 PM
2

I can see that happening to someone who has low self esteem or going through shit. Personally it just kinda made me uncomfortable. Women have told me all the time men will say this about women and I always thought it was just feminist exaggeration. Then this happened and it kinda made me re think some things
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:50 PM

Exactly, as an MRM advocate, I don’t have women. I disagree with feminism and believe men’s issues are hidden and no one wants to face them. Not the crazy things they say in that sub

Agreed
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:46 PM

Maybe so, but as you can see from the examples and going on they’re subreddit, they claim to be part of MRM and seem to love hating on women
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:46 PM
3

I only bring this up because after looking through they’re sub many of them say they are part of the MRM and are voices for it. I heavily disagree with that. But if they’re just crazy and not at all part of the MRM, then that’s my bad and his post was pointless, haha
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:45 PM
6

Not trying to get them banned. If they want a little subreddit to spread hate as long as they’re not physically attacking anyone, let them go ahead. I only don’t want them as an image for the MRM.
/r/MensRights30/08/18 09:43 PM
2

Even if it’s just us telling people who bring it up we don’t support that part, or putting it in our descriptions on forums and support sites. Obviously not some press conference where we ban them from out cause. Little things make a difference

Thank you so much for this. All the grammar errors are my bad cause I’m the only one doing this haha. It’s always been a downside to my work. A lot of the briefly mentioned things were just because I wanted that issue known while mainly still keeping it short and focusing on the child support.
