I waited 5 years between my last relationship to my next serious relationship (not counting hookups and fwb). I don't see how this is any different to a woman who waited 5 months.

Then opt out. There are men who will not, and are naturally the leaders.

We don't need to. Men will do it for us.

Mostly women do not need to escalate. Men are the sexual leaders, men should escalate.

It's not judging all men, it's being aware that men have the potential for this and are more likely than women to do these things. If I were judging all men on that stat, I would never have a boyfriend, I would never marry, I would never have children, I wouldn't even have male friends. What I do is vet those people (just as all people should with any other person) to ensure I feel safe around them and I can understand their character rather than being blinded in either direction of "it's such a…

The only stats I am aware of are from the 80s, where it was found that some form of incest (from groping to rape and sexual contact) was present in 1 in 20 father-daughter relationships and 1 in 7 step father-step daughter relationships.

You realise the pill is not the most common form of birth control, right? My partners can FEEL my contraceptive inside my body. They are welcome to join my appointment when I have it replaced.

Yes it does. Don't have sex without a condom if you dont want to. That's the simple solution. If you don't want a simple solution, don't ask questions with easy answers.

If a man wants to use a condom, and the woman insists he doesn't, then he shouldn't have sex with her. Consent includes birth control, he doesn't consent to non protected sex. So he can turn down the offer if she insists he doesn't use a condom.

If my partner wants to come with me to see my birth control being inserted, he is more than welcome to join me. Why shouldn't he trust that?

If I don't find any men attractive, am I sexist? Would it come from a prejudice, or something I personally see no draw to? Certain features of particular races are the same.

Dating? No Hookup? Sure, we don't need to align beliefs if we are only having sex.

This isnt true. Men from all different walks of life, different career paths, different types of people can be abusers. It isn't something you can spot with a glance alone.

Not a red flag but, depending on the fetish, it is a turn off.

is that really a thing, i.e., men with no history of violence who suddenly become wife beaters when she gets pregnant? Yes. There are often elements of other abuse (financial, mental) present, but pregnancy is one of the most dangerous times for a woman with an abusive partner. Either from the violence becoming worse, or the violence beginning.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
