Good luck! You could always cite inadequate representation. That is, that in that span of time, things should be farther along than they are and that's your attorneys fault. If you got your RTS (Which incidentally you retain the right to litigate without the government's permission) than they see merit in your complaint. Your counsel just needed to run with it. Choice is yours. Remember: court papers (even signing in to court) is a contract (signing in not only acknowledges you're present but that you agree to proceed by the courts rules which haven't been fully disclosed to you.) It's in all reality irrelevant wether you go with a new lawyer or not because their first duty is to the court system regardless but they'll still be happy to take half of any settlement (if any).
