Fun fact. My great grandfather who shall remained unnamed as he is well known once had a fist fight with Thor Heyerdal after a drunk night out. They were both friends and would regularly scuffle

I still party often and find time to work out 3-4 times a week. But then again...My life is Medicine, training and socializing. A girlfriend or anything else would mean I take time from those three

The Medical School you attend does have an impact. I know hundreds of Medical students who were invisible during social situations...But I also know hundreds who exude confidence and live a Bachelor's lifestyle too. Some Medical Schools look for the former and some look for the latter. Luckily I was in the latter's group

I'll never forget the morning that I sat my Med School entry exams. Despite it being a very important event for me, I distinctly remember looking at the throng of young potentials and thinking "How many here are passionate about Medicine and how many are being influenced externally?" As a Doctor now, I often reflect on that moment and although I own a burning passion for my career and could not see myself doing anything else...I know it's not the same for some of my colleagues. Rates of mental h…

I am on this earth to become a world-renowned and inspiring surgeon. It's what I'm GREAT at. It's what I lose sleep over. Thanks for the post.

Your are on YOUR journey and have unleashed the warrior within you. It takes ONE moment to realise, "you know what? Enough is enough. I'm making this MINE". Confidence is built up over time from small achievements and when it's a big one, you will naturally walk high and mighty with your chest out and your chin to the GODS. You deserve every compliment but most importantly, you deserve the happiness that is gained from getting through the hustle and only you will truly know what it takes. Fulfil…

This is great. I'm having a party of 40-50 people this Sunday and have gained a bit of insight. Luckily, my brother is a top DJ in our city's clubs and has offered to play

Just finished sitting an interview for med school. Although I understand where you're coming from, it seems that the university I've applied to seeks out alpha characteristics from its male applicants. The university focuses heavily on athletic experiences, travel experience etc. Looking forward to it (fingers crossed)

This enduring pursuit of what you describe as 'feel-good' stimuli becomes much easier to access with social media programs like Instagram. A female will exchange an image of her body for the dopamine rush that is provoked for every like received. Seeking validation is fuel for the engine that is their minds. No wonder some would "die without their phone".

I've never been a coffee drinker. The taste never resonated with me, however when I was studying and working, I needed to introduce something into my routine that would give me a morning spark. That's when I introduced cold showers into my life and I haven't looked back ever since. It's great to hear the message being spread through people like Joe Rogan and this post here on TRP. Now... With regard to RESPONDING to the 'pains' of your life, as opposed to reacting, I've understood this concept f…

Hey, I'm a pharmacist who is going into Med School next year. What are your thoughts/experiences with regard to women knowing you're a doctor. I have thought about this and wouldn't want to be viewed as a potential provider because of my future occupation

That's why you should look for a specialized gym (if you are willing to pay a little more). The gym I go to is a strength-training gym full of squat racks, deadlifting platforms and bench press. No tv, no mirrors, it's in a warehouse and only 50 people attend. Run by two Strongmen competitors and about 70% of members compete in power lifting competitions, with some going national/international. We also have a few Olympic athletes. Ideal fucking gym, where you learn from dedicated lifters every d…

I do thank my father but for reasons other than "Thank you for being a great example of masculine energy". My father was a homosexual and he didn't tell anybody until I was 16. This lead to a divorce, single-mother upbringing and him leaving the country to live in the Pacific Islands. I didn't speak to him for 7 years because I couldn't forgive him for being a homosexual and still getting married (his father, extremely red-pill Polynesian man who would send my father to hell if he found out he w…

Thanks for posting. It reminds me of a section from Marcus Aurelius' "Meditations" that I wrote down in my diary (If you haven't read this book, HIGHLY recommended...I also highly recommend a diary): At break of day, when you are reluctant to get up, have this thought ready in mind: 'I am getting up for a man's work. Do I still then resent it, if I am going out to do what I was born for, the purpose for which I was brought into the world? Or was I created to wrap myself in blankets and keep warm…

Thank you for taking the time to share. I abstained from masturbation for 3 months last year (I conduct a variety of experiments with my lifestyle) and I must say, there were times where I was definitely challenged. However, after only one week of nil masturbation, something interesting happened... I was having a night out with some friends at a local karaoke bar and I must have been subconsciously sexually-charged because everything (i.e. singing, bantering, eye-contact with women, approaching …
