Divorce now final. Im free...(rant)missed your last question, we both paid for our own, lawyer cost me roughly 15,000$ at 400$/hour roughly but our case was longer than usual with a lot of fighting..im in europe though so i dunno what its like where you are for legal fees. shes appealing the case and my lawyer told me its not going to get taken by the appeals court but either way she will need to pay my legal fees it it does happen,if she loses. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/11/25 07:09 AM

Men over 45 after 27 years of marriage I haven't been intimate with my wife for 4 years. Thinking of calling it quits but I am afraid of not finding anyone. How hard is it out there?im 42, just out of a 10 year marriage, started dating again, been a lot of fun! just be prepared to weed out the golddiggers quickly, its much much more common now than it used to be. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/11/25 06:52 AM
Just a heads up men!my exwife printed out the few NSFW subreddits i follow and used it as "evidence" at our divorce hearing that i was "cheating", non were really that bad either , /r/sluttyconfessions type subs. even printed out a post i made on /r/deadbedrooms and told the court i was "talking about our private life in public, which was humiliating her in public". i was asking for advice anonymously. ended up making her look quite bad to the judge. she pulled a lot of this stuff in front of the judge, he wasnt buy… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/11/25 06:43 AM

Post divorce, do you guys go dutch on 1sr dates?I will pay for 1st date, but i only do glass of wine type dates to begin with. 1st date is just to make sure you can stand talking to them for more than 5mins. wine date can last for 20mins or several hours depending on how things go. 2nd date i'll go bigger and pay.. after that it should be pretty even unless i specifically invite her to something i know is very expensive then i'll cover it. If i get feeling they expect to never pay, im done. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/11/25 06:00 AM
Post divorce, do you guys go dutch on 1sr dates?I am relatively wealthy and newly single, I absolutely refuse to spend big money on a first date ..why would anyone want to commit to being stuck with someone for hours i dont even know if i like yet, I know within 5mins if i like the person enough to continue. 90% of the time you asked them out based on looks alone. 1st date is a glass of wine max, if i like them and we both want another date then i'll do a nice dinner or some event. im not getting stuck at a dinner for 2 hours with someone i p… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/11/25 05:52 AM
