Check out the National Coalition for Men. They are doing a lot of legal battles against gender discrimination.

> Equity makes doing a job well less important. Why should Joe who has a skill snd works in difficult conditions be paid the same as Jane who has no skills and works part time in a air conditioned building? > Thats socialism. It fails every single time it’s tried Socialism is not about equity, it's about the collective ownership of the means of production.

Physical abuse is more of a serious threat to men than emotional abuse. In the UK, 70% of physical domestic abuse cases are committed by women according to independent studies (not biased arrests) https://ajph.aphapublications.org/doi/full/10.2105/AJPH.2005.079020 People think that just because women are less strong they are less dangerous, but that's really only relevant if you are living in the wild with no way to get tools. In the modern day all she needs to do is use a knife. Too many men th…

They want us to literally did. Those who are conscripted need to commit sabotage and purposeful incompetence. It's the only way for conscription to end. I'm seriously thinking of writing a pamphlet on how to do so and then running ads for it in countries with conscription.

Boys and men are automatically determined by Israel to be "enemy combatants" if they are within a very wide age range. It's fucked up and no one cares. The US does this too. It's literally androcide

A lot of that is because boys can easily be discouraged by biases when they are younger when it comes to grading. The effects of having bad grades can really impact your outlook on a school, and it's been shown that teachers are more likely to give girls better grades until researchers block out names from the reports. The best chance we have is groups like NCFM pushing for men's rights and raising awareness for this sort of stuff. No one else will do it.

Women who claim that them wearing make-up and them being there is part of the 50/50. Yeah, that's one of the dumbest excuses I've heard. I'd rather them just say they like the feeling of being paid for, at least then it's honest without dumb excuses. Even worse if they count wearing a dress they bought as part of the 50/50. I'm going to start claiming my expensive watch is part of my 50/50.

Honestly if you're with a good woman you won't have to be compromising much. I don't enjoy casual sex or doing anything reckless so I wouldn't really be giving up those things. When I say love I mostly mean someone I legitimately love and not a random woman who has values that I don't like. Your partner should add to your life not take away. Although, granted, a lot of women do take away from your life.

There would be differences, but if you tell the hooker to try and make things more 'realistic' for him and also make it a bit educational, it could work out pretty well. Might even learn more than hooking up with a random woman while their both drunk at a bar.

Only if he brought it up to me first, then I would. Otherwise, it would be unethical to push him into it. But yes, I do think that being with an escort can alleviate a lot of anxiety around sex for men and I encourage anyone who is nervous about it to not be ashamed about seeking an escort.

I think some level of traditional gender roles should be a norm. This is something that may be valid if you are a woman since it would be advantageous to you (protection in extreme circumstances and chivalry). But if you are male, it is just a bad deal that leads to things like conscription.

Self improvement is always good, but people saying to self improve as an advice to get women is just absurd. Self improvement will not help you get a girlfriend, there's a lot of really shitty men out there who women date and a lot of really good men who can't find a girlfriend. Self improvement should be more about improving your own life circumstances so you can handle yourself single and form better connections with other men. We should stop caring about women so much. Empathy and caring for other humans is the natural state of humans, it's how we evolved to be. The reason why people don't focus as much on mutual aid anymore is because capitalism discourages it because everything is based around competition. If you look at what happens during natural disasters, humans come together and begin to help each other without worrying if it's beneficial to themselves. Humans are not meant to be selfish, we are meant to be social. The problem is that too many men today…

You're strawmanning OP insanely hard right now...he never said for men to become asocial. Men can still form networks and friends with other men. It's just that it's important for men to not put women and relationships up on a pedestal. Plenty of men throughout history have been single without lashing out at anyone.

Glad she got downvoted in the 5th slide. They see short men as submissive and that sub tends to like submissive men more. That sub is also extremely misandrist normally but the 'patting on the head' and pegging stuff is something they are actually into. I'm a short and submissive person but I don't want someone to think I'm submissive just because I'm short, it's a bit insulting. I'm a sub because I'm a sub.

I agree. Men can do a lot more to lift each other up without attacking women and acting like all women are horrendous beings. Sure, some women can uphold misandry or toxic expectations of men, but that's the fault of society, not women. Men can hold just as much if not more anti male beliefs.

Yes means yes means that there should be verifiable consent before doing anything. This applies outside of BDSM contexts, and includes even things like kissing for the first time. For example, only kissing if you know the other person is ok with it and if they verified it. Someone not saying 'no' to a kiss is not the same thing as 'yes'. You can also get consent beforehand (E.G. two parties agreeing that they can kiss each other whenever they want to without asking for consent each individual ti…

I know men of all kinds from Gen Z to X, as an early 30s millennial myself. With a few exceptions, I can't think of any guy who's actually normal, average looking, and has a decent social life who cannot find a single woman (or really, multiple ones) interested in them. Most guys I know are in relationships, married and/or have at least one child. This includes short men, fat men, and balding men. You can easily use statistics instead of anecdotes. https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/38…

Yes it is. You don't have to specify the ethnic groups if you take them into account. OP isn't asking for the percent chance that he, as an individual, has at having sex. He's asking about the percentage of men under 30. That includes everyone and takes them into account. Obviously the statistic wouldn't be applicable to individuals as there are variables, but on the broader scale it is a valid question. It's more about questioning how many young men do women find valid partners to have sex with…

NCFM has been making good steps to try and raise awareness for men's issues and tackle legal proble.s. They do a lot with the money they got, even though they don't have nearly as much money as all the massive feminist organizations. It's sad to me that there are so many men into men's rights but none organize and or try and help these non profits for real world action. Too many just complain online and do nothing else. At the very least, donate to these non profit organizations.

The redpillers are right about women not liking to take the initiative or be in the drivers seat. However, where redpillers lose me is when they start to argue its biological and not sociology. Absolutely no evidence that it's engraned in humans for men to take initiative, and there's only proof that it started after the Neolithic era where most civilizations started developing gender roles due to farming and men holding more resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 09:38 PM

Thr first opinion isn't really an MRA opinion. Some MRAs who are also RPers might hold the opinion, but the idea that women are hypergamous really has nothing to do with MRAs. There is also a lot of opposition against redpillers from the MRA standpoint as redpillers usually enforce tradition. Anyways, as someone who doesn't care much about sex, I would quite like that world even though most people wouldn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 09:35 PM

Do you know how biases work? You act on it but you don't know you are. An example is sexual assault. Someone sees a woman touching a guy without his explicit consent and dismisses it as her being flirty, but when a guy does it they accuse him of sexual assault. Another example is bias in the courtroom. When judges are given the exact same cases with all factors the same, men get less custody time than women. Supporting and donating to organizations like NCFM (National Coalition for Men) is the best way to do this. They've been around for a long time and have had a lot of previous successes, so they are very reputable. More men need to also take steps to contact local officials about these issues. This includes new politicians running for office but aren't in yet. I don't doubt that there are some differences, but these differences are small enough that they can easily be overwritten by life experiences and its not worth building an entire culture around these differences. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/aug/15/girls-boys-think-same-way

Most 'innate differences' that people think of are cultural and the gender roles that exist today didn't exist in prehistoric times, they only popped up in the neolithic era because men had the upper hand when it came to farming. The only real innate differences that matter are related to physical strange, but that doesn't impact gender roles much. To tackle your example about risk, it's entirely down to how we were raised. South Korea does not have religious similarity. About half the population is non religious, 15% Buddhist, 17% protestant, and 9% catholic. Compare that to the US which is majority Christian. Mens Libs has always been extremely pro feminist, and they've never tried to hide it. It even says so on the sidebar. I don't know why anyone is surprised about them banning criticism of feminism. That being said, I do find it a bit extreme of them to even ban phrases like "some feminists". In cases like these, I think it's better to go along and celebrate International Women's day, and then bring it up when it's International Men's Day. I don't really understand what you are trying to say. Suppose for an instant that men did invent beauty beauty standards on a societal level. Wouldn't women also believe in this beauty standard if it's on a societal level? Anyways, I think most of physical attraction is biological, and some details are altered on a societal level. I don't understand how non-hate crime murder cases where the victim is a woman gets labeled as femicide and due to misogyny. I read a case where some woman was reporting on the cartel so they killed her and people freaked out because it was a woman. If she was a man, they would have killed him as well, but people wouldn't have cared. Maybe we should start labeling cases where a woman kills a man as "androcide", regardless of the actual reason
