I have a similar view, but… I was watching a podcast, whatever. I was eating at a popular chain restaurant and I ended up chatting with a woman and man that were guests on the podcast. The podcast talks a lot on the modern woman, first world problems. I am five years divorced. She said the same things to me. The relationship was great, but there was something I wasn’t giving her. I work a lot, and have a small family. I only have myself to give, and I am not the friendliest, good to the bone tho…

lol don’t, I don’t like what I wrote yesterday. I go through these really bad lows. I need to relocate and get my mental health in check. Try to avoid making large life changes, while going thru a large life change, such as divorce and the separation of the family unit. I was overwhelmed by it all, and a few years later…

Hello, and I’m going to share, and ramble. I’ll start with a little back story. I was married for 17 years. I had three kids at a young age. I disagreed with the separation. She had gone delusional, with me. Things had gotten considerably worse and nothing I did was right. I find it funny, atleast in my own life, how many problems I’ve had with people, and how little I want to talk to people or want anything from them. Even with the exwife, I felt like I was always hoping she was happy and we wo…

This is great advice. There are people who will not accept responsibility for the things they say or do, in a relationship. If someone does something wrong, like above, and it bothers you, you should be able to talk to them about it. I agree, if she doesn’t want to talk about it, or can’t talk about it, or just starts another fight when you want to talk about it, run as fast as you possibly can. Time is a gift we can never give back.

I agree, being alone forever is looking better by the day. The problem is that in society, it is expected to be married and have children. Almost all, if not all, the men I work with have wives and kids they go home to every night. Yes, they get left but typically replace them quickly. A man’s family is his business card. The marital union provides protection for you, and your family. These groups of men are the men these women hate. They sleep with the women at work, especially the engineer-ope…

I feel I am the very last person that should give advice, but I can sense pain in your post. I want to warn you also. We separated almost five years ago. I cried for the first six months. I would go to work, and come back to the family home, hurting. I had a hard time seeing my kids during that time, because I didn’t want them to see me upset. I understand how you feel about validation of love. It was really nice having someone to talk and plan a future with. Everybody is different so it is hard…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
