Lol. Case in point.

No one said anything about it being respectable. Respect is subjective anyway. One mans trash, another mans treasure. That’s how it goes.

Why shame anyone? What did they do wrong?

It’s a service. You want something. Someone provides it to you. That’s how it correlates. Simple.

People paying money for a service? Seems fine to me. You ever pay a mechanic to fix your car? Or do you get around on horseback?

Don’t see the issue. Sex work is fine. Capitalism says people can buy whatever they want

The definition of feminism and what many feminists believe is different. The point of the sub is to critique the latter.

Have you heard of the movie Jennifer’s Body? It’s touted to be a great modern work of feminism. A demonic woman goes around killing men. That’s misandry. But also feminism. Huh

Have you heard of believe women? #believewomen or #believeallwomen? These are common things mentioned by modern feminists. They choose to believe women in stories regarding sexual abuse without question. This rule does not apply to men, and the mans perspective is apparently irrelevant. That’s female supremacy.

Because allegedly feminism stands for gender equity and equality. But when it comes to misandry, nobody gives a shit. Because men’s rights, opinions and feelings are not important. Smart men don’t support a movement which hurts them and doesn’t take their interests into account. Stop saying it’s about equality when it’s about particular women’s rights and opinions only.

You seem to care a lot about what he finds funny for someone who doesn’t care about what people find funny. We know it’s a joke. It’s a bad joke. Not all jokes are good.

There are a lot of ways to ways your time and energy on this planet, and this is one of them.

I think being anti feminist is too small of a community to have much influence. Men will have to get used to misandry being commonplace and interpreted as a much lower priority than misogyny as we already are.

Ditto on identifying as egalitarian. We all want real equality, we just don’t think that modern feminism is doing a responsible job at representing it.

What was the context? Was this just an overall comment on the post? Why did you feel the need to comment that if people already know they can do whatever they want and shouldn’t expect everyone to like it? I think it’s wrong they banned you- probably not a productive way to go about things but also maybe consider you were bringing negativity to what was meant to be a positive discussion?

I would agree that he was probably banned because he was a man talking about a woman’s issue. But it’s not overly evident here. Just my opinion.

Feminism is supposed to be about gender equality. That is their argument. Clearly there are issues

We will have a female president (in the US) when people decide to elect one. I believe it will happen eventually. Do you think that we should use tokenism when electing our presidents instead of trying to pick the one who we think accurately represents our country’s desire? If you would like more women CEOs (for what reason I don’t know) a great place to start is by opening a business. How many business ideas have you considered starting on because I have a few.

Do you not have the choice to pursue a career or be a stay at home mother currently? Why exactly do you need fourth wave feminism specifically? Also let me ask you about this double standard: how are stay at home fathers looked upon in our society?

Ok, since you asked nicely. Here are some examples of bad feminists: All of the people (mostly women) on the internet who identify with feminism saying things like ‘I hate all men’ or ‘men are trash’ and getting no recall for sexism. According to fourth wave feminism- women cannot be sexist. Thereby going against the very definition of the word, catering it to their need to scapegoat men for any modern problem of their choosing and erasing male as a sex entirely. If you cannot be sexist against …

Most who use killallmen will indeed follow up and say that they don’t mean it literally. However from a discriminatory perspective, If you reverse the statement it is much more offensive to everyone. It is okay to make jokes that hurt men. We are supposed to swallow and laugh at it, suppress our feelings on the hurtful language. Then the same people who want us to behave this way will tell us we are toxic for suppressing our emotions and telling other men to do the same. Young feminists love to …

Ok. But women were not allowed to work in many fields up until the 20th century. There are still a lot of norms for which fields they should work in. Ask yourself, as a straight man would you jump at the idea of working at an industry dominated by women? Why and why not? Could this contribute to the ‘why women choose lower paying jobs’? They choose fields because there are already other women there. They feel like they belong there. Working in a field where others look like you is a privilege. Y…

Here is the definition of racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized. Any questions? Feel free to take it up with the Oxford dictionary. Typically and historically racism is towards a minority of some kind. But it doesn’t say you cannot be racist towards a majority. Sometimes whites are also minorities. Judging a person based on the c…
