hadn't heard that one, but it's certainly within the realm of possibility. Although if I was kurt, and it's been established that the "Thing" knows it's a thing (as in, It's an interesting theory as you see how Kurt looks at him at the end of the movie and laughs to himself after he takes a swig. Your theory probably makes more sense though. As it looks like Keith isn't breathing.

t the end, where it's just Kurt Russel and Keith David, is that the shot is framed in such a way where Kurt is breathing mist from the cold, but Keith isn't, and Keith doesn't have his earrings in, meaning he may have been a duplicate. And they're drinking a bottle of scotch as far as we know. It's just little theories like how during the gun fight scene it's trying to figure out who destroyed the blood supply, things like that. It's entertaining to see the scenarios people come up with. I think…
