Ask anyone who has ever been indicted by a grand jury whether that is a non-event and I think you'll get an earful. In the end, it doesn't matter since the essential facts underlying the impeachment aren't really in question. Hmm well maybe if they consent in advance to being passed out, and appoint an attorney-in-fact to object in the case they attorney-in-fact decides that the principal would not have, in fact, consented to further escalation if the principal was still conscious?
