I'd rather live in first world Asia than a lot of Europe or the Americas. Oh wait, I do, and it's awesome.

Kids don't really learn that rule anymore. It came alongside the idea of "lurk moar" which also died with large open platforms like Reddit and social media.

Yep. But a sub with nearly 11 million people subscribed will have a vocal amount of all types of people.

I still wore jeans almost every day in the summer when I was living in Japan. 35+ and 90% humidity. You're going to be hot no matter what you're wearing in that weather so you may as well look decent while you're at it. Light material goes a long way. Plus nobody else there was wearing shorts either.

I have one who still watches my entire snap story a year later. She did apparently delete me off Facebook and Skype at some point though, but I didn't notice until last month. My life has been pretty awesome in the last year and maybe the salt got to her or something.

HK born and raised girls specifically. If they've spent a decent amount of time abroad there's probably no issue. I really can't compare HK girls to anywhere else, as they're just so different.

Your views are puerile and reminiscent of feminist views on the matter. No they're not. Why the hell would you not leverage an advantage you probably got for next to nothing? This has absolutely nothing to do with feminist views. It's strictly a business decision, and just so happens to step on the toes of red pill ideals. To use the common buzzword, it is Machiavellian. Yet if you claim to be a part of TRP -- which is sexual strategy, which is inherently amoral and thus Machiavellian -- then yo…

You need to understand some people don't see that as a bad thing. Many people have no interest in commitment and life partners and would rather just have something fun and easy. Not everyone on TRP is longing for a 50s style nuclear family but feels incapable due to a gynocentric culture. Personally I'd rather just use it to my advantage. If a girl understands she's hot and uses it to get what she wants, that's just good business. She has a valuable commodity and is trading it to willing buyers.…

I don't think it's a motherly thing but more of a shit parent thing. My dad's a lazy fuck and he had always considered me to be his retirement provider. When I was 18 or 19 or so I pretty much told him that was never going to happen and he got super pissed at me.

Never imply exclusivity. At the same time I think a bit of communication goes a long way, but that doesn't really matter if you don't give a shit about your LTR I suppose.

Yokosuka's fucking gross now. I'm not American but I live there for work. I went out to the bars once and hopped on a train to Tokyo after about 30 minutes. Seriously just creepy navy dudes and old spinster Japanese women. I've never gone back.

You sound like some kid who just hates any music past the 60s and thinks he was born in the wrong generation. You didn't even mention the worst generation in possibly all of humanity: the baby boomers. They took what may have been the greatest economy the world has seen and threw it in a dumpster.

I'm looking around my Japanese office and I only see one fat person and one kinda big girl. Same in my office. Couple fatties at the company dorm, but not a huge issue. We're definitely not anywhere near America levels. Yes there is a ton of shitty food here but Japanese people eat out less than Americans. Yea sure overworked single salary men and women are going to eat shitty too because it is fast but a nuclear family is different, because stay at home wives cook healthy food. This is correct,…

That's true, but it's definitely not limited to white women. I'm from Vancouver and white people may as well be a minority, but that certainly doesn't change my opinion about those past 30.

Japanese people eat horribly and don't have the slightest clue about nutrition. Nobody lifts and the most exercise anyone gets is maybe a bit of jogging or sports. With American fast food chains popping up, people are getting fatter. Likely the only reason there aren't more obese people here is because portion sizes are so inherently small. There's so much fried food and nutritionless trash, on top of the fact so many restaurants all serve the exact same stuff. I think especially for the younger…

I could believe it being a societal thing. I'm 22 living in Japan at the moment and some of the women in their 30s here could easily pass for early-mid 20s. I've never found a single woman over 30 attractive back home in Canada.

Some of the new guys coming in can't even tell me what a stack is, have no idea what I mean by popping a stack, most couldn't even describe the general architecture of a CPU. I had to explain bit shifting a while back to a few of my junior team. What in the fuck? All of that was like freshman intro to computer architecture stuff I took 4 years ago at the start of my EE degree. Did these fools even go to school? For me it's been completely backwards. I'll use anyone who can be useful. I kept a female friend around just because she would give me notes for a class I didn't feel like attending. I haven't spoken to her once since that semester ended. And while TRP loves saying AWALT, that certainly doesn't apply to interests or personality. Not every girl is getting drunk on Tuesday and sitting on her phone looking at Instagram selfies. As for using a girl for winging, I'll agree with you there. I'm not a huge fan of that approach.

If you seen the Maury "you are not the father" shows you get the idea Oh god I used to love watching those. They were on TV after I got home from school. There was one where the chick had like 9 dudes lined up and none of them were the father and they all started cheering together. Truly beautiful.

I work in Japanese corporate. My office is fine but the passive aggressiveness is a cultural thing you'll find anywhere in the country, even outside the workplace. The idea is you don't want to call someone out blatantly because you don't want them to be embarrassed, disrespected, lose face etc. So often what happens is someone will have a shit idea and his boss will say something along the lines of "yeah, that's ok I guess maybe" without really saying anything at all. Or if someone's seriously …

Oh please, negging is just part of social repertoire. Men do it to each other all the time. I've never even thought of it as a PUA technique, I just do it naturally. Nobody's ever once called me out on it. Maybe a jerk a few times, but at the end of the day it's just teasing. If anyone calls you out specifically for "negging" then either you're a complete idiot or the girl is just looking for something to bitch about anyway.

All people have emotional needs rooted in others, denying that is the same as denying gender behavior and evolutionary psychology. Sure, but it doesn't have to be romantic. I keep a couple very close friends and that's always been good enough for me. Relationships are alright but I don't think true dependence is ever a fully good thing. Canadian dollar has dropped 10% in the past 3 months. And when did I ever say anything pro US? How do you know if I vote or not? A lot of the girls here just use white dudes for free English lessons, so there's some sort of transaction going on there, and that's why it gives the illusion foreigners are liked. If you're basing all your happiness on a relationship then you've got plenty of other self-worth issues that you should take care of before ever looking for a woman. I had no need for emotional attachment to other people despite being very social long before I found TRP. TRP just gave things names and a framework to use, which helps me focus on specific areas to work on.

At some point in the last year or two the term Fuckboy has completely changed definitions. As for your questions, is it really relevant? Why is your social circle so small that a couple people independently attributing a label to you has any weight or even sticks? And even if a woman does think you're a "fuckboy", as long as you're not setting off some serious ASD it shouldn't really matter at all.

Honestly I've never had to make it explicit. I just never offer to pay and every girl has paid for her own without a second thought. Given your situation, I don't know who would ever assume they'd be receiving a free meal out of that. "where do you want to eat?" That's already a mistake. I just pick a place where I want to go, maybe confirm with her if that sort of food is allergy-prone (seafood etc). If it's a first date I'll always just stick to drinks and maybe an appetizer/snack type of thing instead of a full dinner, at least for the first venue. That way it's easy and painless to make a quick exit if she's a crazy bitch or something. As for paying, I always operate under the assumption that we're going to split the bill…

Nobody cares about progress, only results. Being a student in something doesn't mean fuck all until you have that piece of paper saying you finished it, the same way nobody gives a shit that a pudgy dude is "hitting the gym" with nothing to show for it yet.

My friend was legitimately surprised when I told him I never pay for a girl's shit when we go out. "Won't she just think you're cheap blah blah". I couldn't really help but laugh considering all the times girls have actually offered to pay for me instead. Then again this guy's spent nearly $20000 on his post-wall girlfriend in the last couple years. Extra sad because he's only 21.

My school is weirdly pretty good for this. Almost nobody lives on campus except for a relatively small percentage of freshmen, and as long as you go into a STEM department you'll pretty much never see any of the typical college drama bullshit. In 5 years basically all I've done at my college is work, learn, and make connections, all while having fun with a large network of friends bonded by mutual hate for our school.

The line I usually see on TRP is "she's not yours, it's just your turn right now".

Hell no, the first thing I did when I entered university was make a network of friends. I do learn the vast majority of the material alone, however, then use my network for projects, assignments, studying etc. I just skip out on lectures because for me the benefit does not outweigh the cost.

This may work for you now, however eventually it won't. The only way you find out is by being blind sided. There is a reason attending class is near universal advice. Why are you assuming everyone learns the same way? I haven't attended lectures in the last 4 years because the time of commuting to school to attend lectures by shitty profs doesn't beat having time to sleep properly and teaching myself is faster. Basically done my EE degree now and doing quite well.

4. I've met plenty of women who don't fit in any of those categories I listed, they are rare but out there. They're not rare at all, they're just boring as shit.

Aside from the very explicit "don't talk about fight club" point, it's clear that those who openly speak about TRP haven't internalized TRP concepts, namely the laws of power or how to behave in a social setting. To others it probably just looks similar to your crazy friend trying to preach their cult's doctrines.

Been there, bored out of my mind. I'd rather be single than do that again, but to each their own I suppose.

Depends on the country. Hong Kong, high quality mainland Chinese, and high quality Korean girls are probably the highest maintenance women I've ever come across in my life. Absolute hypergamy. Japan is a bit better but the whole society is incredibly beta by culture. Also from what I've seen, Japanese girls don't give a shit about foreigners unless they want to use him to learn English or he speaks Japanese. Funny how as soon as I start talking to a girl in Japanese she never makes another attem…

That pointer from the stickied thread was the best piece of advice I've picked up in the last month. Really helped me with my mindset and frame.

I'm only 22 but I wish I found it earlier. I've carried a few RP concepts for much longer (no marriage etc.), but would often fall back on BP ideals. Thankfully now that's wiped out for good.

Your expensive gaming PC you painstakenly assembled? it's obsolete in 6 months anyways. So get rid of it now and make some cash whilst you are at it too. Hey look, it's the dumbest thing I've ever read on this sub! Honestly I dump shit all the time, but I also like spending money on things that provide me with value, whether that be pleasure, utility, or often both. There's no reason to be attached to your material possessions but your advice seems like a fast ticket to boredom. It's good you ca…

There's one trend that's slightly upsetting this. The Asian woman. Whites are quickly abandoning the white woman for the Asian woman and avoiding almost all the issues posted in this thread. I'm currently living in Japan. AWALT, don't forget that. And the white expats with Japanese wives here just picked up spinsters who couldn't pull anything in their own society. SMV holds as true as anywhere else.

Agreed. Whenever people ask me what sports I like I tell them basketball and hockey. Do I actually follow or watch those sports? Fuck no, but I find them interesting enough and now I can be a part of the conversation.

Gonna get a proper night's sleep for once tonight and then head out to a language exchange event in Tokyo tomorrow. Staying at home is tempting but I gotta drag myself out and put things into practice.

I'm near a US Navy base in Japan. I went out once and left almost immediately. It's pretty disgusting to see the contrast when you move out of the American area and there are just plenty of hot, thin Japanese girls everywhere compared to the fat Americans.

Or perhaps even more relatable, the physical tests required for becoming a fireman. If we gave women lower standards of passing those tests you're going to wish someone else were there when she's too weak to pull your injured ass out of a burning building.

My best friend is in a similar situation and I wish he had handled it half as well as you, except he's 21 and this woman must have at least 15 years on him. Long story short, they met at work and they've been secretly dating for about 2 years now. When I broke things off with my last girlfriend a few months ago he expressed some interest in doing the same as he was getting tired of her games and emotional bullshit, on top of the fact he's probably spent a few thousand dollars on her. I gave him …

This exactly. Anger is an emotion, but losing your temper and lashing out (breaking frame) doesn't do anyone any good. Sometimes the subtlest, calmest actions can concisely convey your anger while still maintaining frame.
