I mostly agree with this post. I remember a pretty wise RP'er once saying that a man shouldn't get into a serious LTR until he's at least 30, and shouldn't move in with a woman until he's at least 35. I think a guy is better off being in monk mode and spinning plates every so often until at least his mid 30's, as opposed to having a GF slow him down while he's on his mission.

Great point. My intended audience for this post was really guys in their late 20's/early 30's who were thinking of moving in with an LTR/getting married. Some guys blindly march into those situations and are shocked at the immense time/money costs associated with cohabitating. A number of people I know IRL got burned hard, I just wanted to write the original post as a warning.

Congrats man. Anyone who read this post thinking I was shaming LTR's is misguided. The main point I was trying to get across was, if you're a man who hasn't achieved his main goals, yet you're paying exorbitant prices in time/money/energy for women, you need to re-evaluate your priorities---- ESPECIALLY if a John is getting a better bang for his buck than you are. Thanks for reading!

Hahaha. Funny enough, I'm not even pushing guys to go seek escorts. I'm just saying, if you're spending a bunch of time and money chasing chicks around, going on dates, and getting subpar sex afterwards, it's more or less an objective fact that there are Johns out there getting a way better deal than you are. If a guy comes across women that give him great sex and aren't vampires on his time and finances, all the more power to him. It's just easier to come across those women when you're a high-v…

I get your point (a guy with his game wired tight can have chicks pay to have him around), but it's undeniable that men pay for sex one way or another (via time, money, or energy). So if you're a guy who's offering up a negligible amount of time and energy to women, and are getting a boatload in return, that's a win. That's really the main point I'm trying to make in this post: men pay for sex one way or another, so they should make sure what they're getting in return is legitimately worth it (e…

What's up wr1tten. I've called in on the show before. You and DTC are so fuckin' entertaining, I tune in every week. Fuckin' love you guys. I'll briefly list two major fuck-ups I've made in the past, one money-related, the other dating-related. You don't have to read these verbatim on the show. Dating-Related When I was 18 (I'm 27 now), my first GF was initially my plate. In the beginning, I ran the show & called all the shots. Excellent post, reading this was like listening to my own inner monologue. I'm 27, have amassed a pretty respectable n-count, but I've been in monk mode for the past 4 years. Turning down casual sex during this period has allowed me to accelerate my personal development. The truth is, pouring time/money/energy into screwing girls that are likely fucking other guys besides you is a colossal waste of time. And men don't peak SMV-wise until later in life (I reckon it's mid-to-late 40s for men aggre…

Great shit, OP. Lots of dumb comments in this thread. Keep working to be the highest value man she could realistically get, and she'll continue to be submissive and loving. I think most of us RP'ers know of at least one guy who (whether consciously or subconsciously) is RP-aware, doesn't make that much money (at least for the time being), yet still has at least one woman who lavishes them with money, gifts, and attention. I think when women TRULY fall for someone, the love-drunk euphoria affects them much more strongly than it would a guy, which leads to them doing anything to continue getting their fix...even if it means them driving 2 hours after a grueling day a…

Great post. I'd only add this: "AWALT" should be considered similar to the saying, "treat every gun as if it's loaded." Obviously, not EVERY gun you touch will be loaded, but if you're a reckless person who handles firearms often, the likelihood of something catastrophic happening is heightened. Ergo, if you're someone who allows all types of women into your life (regardless of quality), or you think your GF will continue being a doting, subservient sex kitten if you stop being your best self an…

Bro, I'm in a very similar position as you. I work hard, save cash, but spend most of my disposable income treating myself and enjoying life. Here's the thing, you don't HAVE to chase women. Women are a luxury, not a necessity. One of my favorite TRP posters (who got banned a while back) was a guy who made 250k+ annually, but was mostly MGTOW. He focused on his hobbies and enjoying life. Great post. You've zeroed in on a crucial point: executing game IRL as opposed to simply reading about it is different. Not impossible, but takes some adjusting. I compare it to shooting in an empty basketball court vs. playing an Away game in a packed arena where calls aren't going your way. It's pretty common for RP'ers to make notable self-improvements, then revert back to being Blue Pill after a chick falls super hard for him.

Just accept your Dad for what he is and proceed with your life. Adopt a Buddhist mindset ----- don't expect anything from anyone and be grateful when good things happen to you. I don't expect shit from anyone. And trust me, there are fathers WAY worse than yours. I'm the same as age you, and I'm currently in hardcore Monk Mode. Men don't peak in SMV until their 40's, so you have plenty of time to wreck the dating scene. I've opted out of the SMP for the time being. Once I'm way more fit and accomplished, I'll get back into the game. I've had enough fun already.

Agreed that it's a red flag that a grown man is clueless about women, but you'd be surprised. There are always exceptions. One of my former employers is definitely an alpha, yet he married a single mom and is happily raising her three kids. I think some people underestimate their value in the SMP. Or that guy's wife knows he's the best she can get, and is fucking the ever-loving shit out of him. Guys LTR'ing slightly to very below average Jane's because they're "certified freaks" isn't uncommon.

Agreed, his response was excellent. Some of the comments here are trash. Even if you were 40 yrs. old, I'm sure you could land a provider. I recently read a story of a 42 year old middle class woman who took elocution lessons & cultured herself to snag a millionaire. She struck gold by putting in the work. But yeah, if I were you, I'd be aggressive about getting out of the house and being around ambitious and driven men. It's likely that you'll prefer someone older than you. If you make your man…

I think there's a yin-yang dynamic at play here. Since men can physically overpower women, evolution provided a way for women to balance the scales via manipulation. I see feminism and "symbolic alphadom" as a means for women to separate the real alphas from the impostors. It's simply biology at work. It's up to us here at TRP to not fail these massive shit tests.

I saw your earlier comment about how you don't think SMV increases with age. I disagree. I think your best bet from here on out is to continually increase your SMV (not simply by making more money, but by pursuing things you truly love) and approach more women. How many women do you approach a month? If you approach 5 women a day, that's about 140 a month. And if only 2% of those women are into you, that's 2-3 women who are going to want to fuck your brains out a month. I feel like if you commit…

To address your two points. 1) Fuck what everybody else thinks. I'm only 24, but I plan on being an older bachelor. I'll have a stone cold, DGAF attitude if others disparagingly remark on my bachelorhood. 2) Think of the things in life you're truly passionate about, then seek out groups of people with similar interests. If you want to have a bustling social life and be around exciting, vibrant people, you're gonna have to put the work in. If I were you, I'd join some groups on meetup.com (or whe…

Typical sidebar stuff: eating healthy, exercising, reading books, meditating, making advances professionally and improving at my passion (writing). I still have very tough days and life knocks me on my ass from time to time, but I pick myself up and keep moving forward (even if they're tiny baby steps). However, I'm playing the long game. I'm only 24, and I feel men peak SMV wise in their late 40s/early 50s (although the revolutions we're due to have in health and medicine over the next 10-15 ye…

I agree. If guys are looking to nail plenty of chicks, they should have a bustling social life, do tons of approaches etc. However, guys here should know that pussy isn't the end-all, be-all. If you feel you're wasting time/money/energy chasing women, or you find your interactions with them to be vapid, you shouldn't have any reservations about temporarily opting out of the Sexual Marketplace. I agree. Also, things are never black and white, so there are instances where some users are justifiably pissed. My chief complaint is with posters who ascribe a slew of negative traits to women, as if there aren't men out there who are equally (if not more) shitty. I've always said this about TRP to friends of mine: although a lot of the posts here are misogynistic, scornful, and over the top, there are a number of incredibly brilliant contributors who have a firmer understanding of male/female dynamics than anyone I've ever met. By far. If you wade through the bullshit, you'll realize that there are posters here who enjoy great professional success, live life on their own terms, and are aggressively pursued by highly desirable women. The girls interviewed in the video are, at best, dead average. Can you imagine the responses if the interviewer spoke to highly desirable women? The responses would have been, "Yes, the bottom 85-95% of men are completely invisible to me. Your point is...?" Women high on the HB scale are more upfront and direct about their hypergamy. Same goes for men too, high SMV men only consider a small percentage of women.

I agree with your conclusion wholeheartedly. You want to know something interesting about The Red Pill? Attention and commitment are two completely different things. Keep in mind AF/BB. Most women want the resources that high value men can afford them. Either that, or they want to experience the thrill of being with a man at the top of his game. High value men have plenty of options, so it's totally plausible that some women feel that they're lacking attention, especially if they only want it from a small percentage of men.

You wanna know something interesting? Let's say, in our society, it was completely out in the open and totally accepted that the top 20% of men will be banging all the women. There are a number of men who would acknowledge this difficult truth, but continue contributing to society anyway. It's the fact that there are other men who would rape/murder/pillage in order to get laid (God forbid they band together!) that make it necessary to condition the general public in a Blue Pill manner. I'm sure …

Great post man, thanks for commenting. I actually do agree with you that, ultimately, social engineering ceases to work. Deep down in the hearts of both men and women, they'll realize something is wrong, but a lot of them will never get to the root causes of their frustrations. Unfortunately, some people are only aware of the leftist social engineering after they've gotten married and had children. It's a lot harder to pursue your biological imperatives when you have a family to take care of (or…

I actually respect how upfront she is about her desires. That being said, if she expects such a high value man to be monogamous, she has another thing coming. Judging by her standards, the type of man she wants will have tons of options and will most likely pursue them simultaneously.

Not easy to realize. No shit, life ain't easy man. In your original post, you mentioned your depression and insecurities. "Hamstering Season 2017 Episode 247" Lmao. I'm not really surprised by this. I remember reading the other day that most mammals are polyamorous. If a man is married to an HB9, it wouldn't be a shocker if he's attracted to another HB9. The same concept applies to women as well. If her husband's an alpha, that doesn't mean another man with similar SMV won't attract her. Heh..."Married Woman Risks Marriage to Nail Chad"....geez, never heard THAT one before!

I hope this serves as a lesson to all the readers here. You have to be alpha in ALL facets of your life, not simply making money. It's totally possible that someone's alpha in their profession, yet totally beta when managing their women. How the fuck did Khan not draw up a pre-nup?

How often do you approach women? How many women have you approached in the past month? If you're fit and wealthy, pussy isn't going to just fall in your lap, but your chances of success will be a lot higher if you approach. I know people who do over 100+ approaches a month (which isn't that hard, that's only about 4 women a day).

This is a great post, am happy you shared this with us. This reminds me of how things are with my ex. Satoshi Kanazawa is an evolutionary psychologist who has backed up most of the claims you're making with evidence. He makes a very convincing argument that high status men tend to have more boys, and physically attractive parents tend to have more girls, being that attractiveness is a more useful trait to girls than boys.

Female shaming and shit testing keeps young men in place if they try to think outside the box even for a second. Young women have all the psychological and sexual advantages over young men and thoroughly exploit these advantages to get their voices heard (regardless of the truth of her words). The SMV disadvantage young men face in the dating marketplace is endlessly used by women (but when the flip happens in later in life, his advantage will be criticised as unfair and exploitative, and he wil…

I've made several comments here about the value of IF. I've been doing it for 6 months now (2-4 times a month, unexpected circumstances cause me to break from the strict 16-8 rule). It clears up my mind and encourages me to drink more water. Excellent fucking post man, very motivational. To the NoFap crowd here: A spike in testosterone and dopamine will influence tiny aspects of your behavior which are subconsciously noticeable to women. Hot women that can leave and explore for college or other adventures start getting picked off by the porn industry and rich/famous guys in unofficial harems and sugar daddy deals to such a degree that it shifts what most men consider the normal SMV spectrum on a societal scale (most men have never seen true 8+'s). I agree with this. I usually meditate and get a little reading done first thing in the morning. I know people who drink water as soon as they arise to flush their body out. As long as I'm making small steps forward daily, I feel good. There's a saying, "People overestimate what they can do in a year, and underestimate what they can do in a decade."

Let's be real, guys. Even if a girl has a N-count of 1,000, some white knight will eventually come charging into her life wanting to make her a housewife. Whether she chooses to stay with him or continue riding the CC is up to her.

Excellent post man, it was great to read this. By the way, to each his own, people should do what they want to enjoy their lives. I think some of the commenters here think I'm trying to make converts out of others, haha. I just want people to know that I've been on both sides of the fence (screwing girls multiple times a week & going sexless for over a year), and I feel pretty confident in saying that, if a guy holds off from sex, it'll trigger something in his body that'll make him more fearles…

That's a great question. Honestly, what's kept me in Monk Mode so long is that I want to continue building my SMV so I can date beautiful, younger women when I'm older. A few of the TRP posters here are very accomplished older men, and they attribute their success with women to not settling down at a young age, and consistently increasing their SMV. I'm just delaying gratification so I can score very attractive, interesting women as I age. Although I do admit that sticking with this is tough at …

Something else I highly recommend is Intermittent Fasting. I've been doing it for the past six months and the benefits have been huge. Often, people overeat because they're bored.

Look at the blue-pilled, American culture. Where is the importance of delayed gratification emphasized? It may seem obvious to you but some of us had no one to teach us the values of hard-work, delayed gratification, resilience etc. Some of us had to figure this shit out the hard way.

Happy to hear the good news. If you feel great now, it'll only get better. Again, I've been doing this for 11 months, 2.5 years if you count the chick I screwed. And the Eastern perspective has played a massive role in why I've stuck out with this for so long. Here's a quote from one of the Yogic texts I had read a while back (the author's name is Swami Vivekenanda) " [Semen rentention] gives inner strength and peace of mind. It invigorates the mind and nerves. It helps to conserve physical and …

Excellent fucking post man. Again, you're a hell of a writer, so it was a breeze to read through your lengthy post, barely felt like I exerted any effort. I'm convinced that, oftentimes, when men are among their male friends, they'll rehash TRP talking points like, "Always hold frame!", "Don't get oneitis!"; and when women are among their friends, they'll say stuff like, "Don't put out on the first date!" & "I won't continue to have sex with _________ because he cheats and never spends time with…

TRP stands for The Red Pill. And with regards to women domesticating their boyfriends, I'm convinced it happens at a subconscious level, they really aren't aware that they're doing it most of the time. Your post was great, btw. Keep focusing on sharpening your mind/taking care of your health/pursuing your interests/progressing in your career. I'm in Monk Mode currently, and my ultimate goal is financial independence. I truly believe that my dependence on women throughout my life kept me from pursuing and achieving a lot of goals. As a recent example, for the last six months or so, I've been working to get a game published independently. But with the adult child In the house always nagging me about not paying enough attention to her, I made very little progress. My situation mirrors yours, but I am younger than you. I'm 23, and when I was in a serious LTR a few years back, it wasn't until afterwards that I re…

My situation is pretty similar to yours. I grew up with a father, but his Dad bailed on him at a young age, so he was, unsurprisingly, a shitty Dad in many respects (he'd berate, assault, deceive, and gaslight my brother and I). He provided well for my family materially but barely gave me any practical real life advice (mainly because he was still working through his own issues). A ton of shit that I've had to learn about being a man i.e thinking outside of the box, taking risks, believing in yo…

This is an excellent fucking post, OP. One of the major benefits of living very comfortably is that you can develop yourself intellectually and artistically. Having all of your needs met is a HUGE relief and frees you up to philosophize and tackle intellectually daunting subjects. However, there is a possibility that you turn into a soft pansy. There was a poster here on TRP a while back who had a friend who slept with another guy's wife. The wife got into an argument with her husband and told him she slept with another man. The husband eventually went to the other guy's house and shot him dead. Beware. I know that's an extreme example (although factual), but you could get yourself into some serious shit if this goes awry.

How old are you, by the way? If you're under 40 years old, you're not even at peak SMV. Also, how frequently are you approaching women? I mentioned this in another post but, if a guy is approaching 140 women a month (that's only 5 a day) and has a 2% success rate, that's 2-3 women a month he's nailing. Banging 2-3 different chicks a month is doing better than most men.

You wanna know something? Often, I look at the wives/girlfriends of celebrities and think to myself, "That's it? With all the status he accumulated, that's who he ended up with?" I know personality is a factor as well, and as long as the guy's happy, all the power to him, but your posts definitely bring an interesting dimension to TRP because there aren't that many people here (AFAIK) who live right in the heart of what's probably the most competitive SMP in the US (Los Angeles). Like you mentio…

That's 2-3 women a month who are going to want to fuck his brains out. And if a guy is fit, grooms himself, and lives a genuinely interesting life, there's no way his hit rate will be as low as 2%. Even with a 7% hit rate, that's 7 different chicks he'll be banging a month (which puts him at the VERY far right of the bell curve when it c…

Kudos to the threadstarter for asking a phenomenal question. Things I disagree with regarding the TRP... The notion that men don't have the ability to be as duplicitous and conniving as women. The notion that there aren't loyal, family-oriented women out there. The idea that women are somehow inferior to men, or that they don't have the potential to perform phenomenally in the workplace The idea that every single marriage is a God-awful ordeal (I think most marriages suck, but there are exceptio…

Bro, at age 32, you aren't even at peak SMV yet. There are a number of posters here who've gotten their hottest pieces of ass after the age of 40. If I were you, I'd wait another decade and raise my SMV in the interim. And stop limiting yourself with that "I'm only 5'6, so I have to settle" mentality. If I were a 4'10 amputee, it wouldn't stop me from pursuing the women I wanted. Remember: YOU are the prize.

It seems pretty logical to me. If you have higher standards, then there will be fewer people to your liking. You will also have to compete more fiercely for a mate, because a high value person will have plenty of options. There's more that will have to be done on your end to prove yourself better than the options of your high value interest.

Hey man, I have a question. Let's say I'm interested in having kids in my mid 40's, but I want the mother to be between 18-24 years old. Based on your experience, you think it's possible to find a woman that age willing to be a mom? Based on the 18-24 year old women you've dated, do you think any of them were fit to be a mother/a reliable LTR? Would any of them have been willing to have your kids without you putting a ring on it?

I agree with this probably 90%. The only part I disagree with is that your brain will keep you in a beta psychology if you stay away from women. I've been in Monk Mode for over a year and a half, and I've never felt more alpha in my entire life. I think if you stay away from women, but still engage in SMV increasing activities, the alpha module will be switched in. Great post though.

Questions like these on TRP can pretty much be answered the same exact way. Instructions on what you should do from here on out. 1) Cut this girl out from your life completely. Do not speak to her AT ALL. 2) Either enter Monk Mode or get out of your house and start gaming other girls. To quote Michael Scott from The Office, "She's not yo ho no mo".
