It's not a contest, this "us vs them" mentality only hurts both sides in the long run. We are all brothers and sisters and we need to try to help lift the other out of the toxic ideals our society pushes on both genders If two people are in a pool filled with shit fighting about who is the deep in will only keep you both in shit, find a way to drain the pool

I'm getting kind of irritated at this idea our society is cultivating that being white comes with some sort of inherit character defect. I feel like if a person is comfortable judging one group of people because of their skin color then it stands to reason they would be just a comfortable judging another group of people because of their skin color.

I would much rather have more lax rules regarding facial hair, I'm ugly AF and need to cover as much as my face as possible with facial hair 😅😭🤣

I would highly recommend gathering evidence because if she is comfortable abusing you physically then why wouldn't she be comfortable abusing the legal system to get you in trouble (falsy accusing you of abuse)

Mens rights and women's rights should parallel, not be at odds. I don't think (atleast I hope) mens rights isn't "vs" feminism, we should all be working together to achieve the most healthy society for both parties. I think to often, it turns into a type of victim Olympics, I think it's great you are interested in mens rights and I think the best way you could help would be by sturing dialogue within your circle of friends and by cultivating a sense of empathy within that group in terms of mens …

Say, hypothetically my gf could never have sex again, I would still be with her because I love who she is as a person. And that outweighs my need for sex

Well I would never be in a situation of alimony to begin with because I don't believe in marriage, but I've been with my gf for 14 years and during that time we have had stretches without sex, and it's never occurred to me to just bail on her. I don't really consider sex a need in my life so I don't pressure her into. Some weeks we have sex, some weeks we don't.

I don't know man, I would just feel like a loser if I had to blackmail my wife into sex 🤷‍♂️
/r/MensRights07/09/22 09:42 PM

Hence my original comment. No one is ever obligated to use their body to make sure you are sexually satisfied. I can't imagine how this would go over in a date. "By the way, if we get married, you HAVE to meet my sex quota every month" Pretty toxic
/r/MensRights07/09/22 09:37 PM
3

So you're basically holding sexual contact hostage in exchange for finances? This doesn't make you embarrassed as a man that this woman isn't fucking you because she wants to but because you are basically paying her to do so?
/r/MensRights07/09/22 09:22 PM

It's disturbing how much people just want to damage each other, all these subreddits seem to be just echo chambers of hatred toward a particular group. It's not about learning from experience and growing, or helping one side empathize with the other. It reminds me of a person on a soapbox, surrounded by people with pitchforks and torches, demanding mob justice.

A lot of men are conditioned to not show emotions, so when these emotions manifest they are met with insecurity and embarrassment, which culminates resentment and anger

It's because in the rape situation there is another coherent party that can manipulate the drunk person into an action, the car accident or DUI is a result of one person's actions.

I mean I don't know if it's misogynistic but I think it's definitely weird to prefer only virgins, unless you are one yourself.
/r/MensRights26/08/22 01:13 AM

Feminist view themselves as inherently correct, so debate serves no function, hence to question their views is assumed to be from a point of misogyny. Much like vegans, they have no interest in honest debate, just agreement in their struggle against invented enemies in society Men and women need to work together to incite change, we need to stop treating each other as enemies, but comrades that want a common goal of equality for all people's of all types.

Yeah, but they aren't effecting children. I want to know when someone is a sexual predator towards kids, I think lumping people that exploit the court system in with that group would make things confusing One could just create a different title with equal severity of punishment

No, I have no family. I mean it's fine, nothing dangerous. So I was in a bad accident that snapped my front teeth in half, and I had a partial made but it broke in half and now I need a new one for like 2k, which I have, but I've been saving for a car for like 8 months and now I have to spend it all over this dumb shit. /r/MensRights25/07/22 04:47 PM

I talked to the kid, she apologized. It's resolved. This post was about my job turning a kid goofing off into this idiotic situation specifically because of my gender
/r/MensRights25/07/22 04:33 PM

Dude, I am floored at the responses on this thread. This post was about how my job turned a teenager goofing off into this stupid situation specifically because of my gender. I wasn't upset with the girl at all, this was about my job. This is a pretty embarrassing response from this community, imo
/r/MensRights25/07/22 04:28 PM
2

Dude, this post was about my job, not about the teenager goofing off. I'm just kinda floored at all the negativity on this thread wanting me to crucify this kid, I mean, she is a minor - I just talked to her and the issue was resolved. Why jump to the most extreme response of "reporting her first", I never fucking felt abused in the first place, this post was about how my job turned a kid goofing off into this huge retarded situation specifically because of my gender Good fucking God.
/r/MensRights25/07/22 04:25 PM
-1

Christ almighty. This post wasn't about a teenage girl goofing around, it was about how stupid my job responded to it. It was about my JOB not about a teenager acting stupid
/r/MensRights25/07/22 04:19 PM
3

I'm not reporting her because she is a minor, it has nothing to do with her gender. I talked to her and she apologized, this post was about how my job turned a teenager goofing around into this giant, stupid, situation. This post was about my JOB, not about the child.
/r/MensRights25/07/22 04:16 PM

Yeah dude, I just sat her down in the office and explained how it could be taken out of context, she apologized and we moved on. I mean she is sixteen, and was just acting stupid. Everyone on this thread wants me to have her fired but I feel like that's very extreme, and sets a bad example of how to act when presented with a problem, you don't go to the most extreme solution possible immediately. Also, this post was about how my job reacted to this very dumb situation, not the girl. I'm kind of …

12

You know how to read right?
/r/MensRights25/07/22 03:53 AM

It's a sixteen year old teenager acting like an idiot. I talked to her about it, she apologized, the situation is resolved. If it continues again, I'll take it further. I'm not going to teach this kid to resort to the most extreme response possible in a situation when you can just talk about it. This post was about my jobs response, not about the girl. Calm down
/r/MensRights25/07/22 03:14 AM
19

Look, I talked to the girl about and she apologized, if it continues I will take the proper avenues. I think the older generation needs to start showing the younger generation that you can solve problems with civil discussion as opposed to jumping to the most extreme response immediately. The issue is resolved, if it continues then I will handle it. This post was more about my jobs response, not the girl herself, everyone needs to calm the fuck down.

The biggest thing I expierances as a man is apathy toward my life experiences. So just simply giving a shit means a lot. Please remember that the toxic minority does not represent the mindset of men as a whole, I'm sorry you had a bad experience and I appreciate your empathy. I wish both sides could view each other through a lense of compassion as opposed to competitive victimhood.

/r/MensRights17/06/22 12:01 AM

Huh? I'm not triggered, I just think it's kinda cringy to expect a person to "bring something to the table" specifically because of their gender. I've never expected something from my wife because cause she is a woman, but I have expected things from her because she is my partner
/r/MensRights16/06/22 03:27 PM
2

Eh, I think it's more of a "what does your partner bring to the table". I don't think the sex of women are inherently obligated to provide a service to the opposite sex
/r/MensRights16/06/22 03:20 PM
5

I wish our culture would stop with this contest of "who is more hurt" and look toward looking toward solutions for these problems on both sides. We need to stop looking at each other as enemies, and look at each other as humans who need help, with an empathetic and patient lense. As a man, I feel my exsitence demands justification. I feel like I'm in a crisis with my identity, race, and purpose. I need help, but know no government or person cares. Overall I feel abandoned and scared.

Amber Herd vs Johnny Depp Depp was presumed guilty until that tape came out, and Herd is attempting to use the Metoo movement as a smoke screen. It's abhorrent she is trying to weaponize the experiences of actual victims in an attempt to ruin Depps life. I think as a society we should be trying to help any victims of abuse, despite their gender or race, but you shouldn't just blindly believe something because someone makes a statement because it opens the door for a person to manipulate and weap…

It sucks being a make with a small frame. I have to prove my strength in other ways than physical strength

Men are conditioned from birth to not share their feelings for fear of seeming weak. We need to instill in the next generation that it is okay to express how you feel so they can properly process their emotions

I think some think they need men as a villain so that they are taken seriously and if that narrative is threatened they get upset. Ironically championing a group's rights while spreading stereotypes of another the very thing they are fighting against. It ends with everyone pissed and nothing changing.

I dont understand why anyone would get angry... Advocating for the rights of one group does not mean you don't care about the rights of another. It's not a discrimination contest

I think it's counter productive for male rights or female rights to be at odds with each other. Life shouldnt be a competition of who is the bigger victim.. Let's all help each other.

If you humanize your villain then people start to identify with them. A lot of SJW need men to be cast in a evil light to compliment a victim narrative.

It would be better if no military service was required for both genders. I dont really see the long-term goal of forcing a woman to be in the military just because I have to be.

I just dont see that happening. The only way it would change is through false allegations being called out and the accuser being exposed/emberassed online. I mean I'm kinda a negative person though and have lost all faith in humanity lol.

False accusations make people not take actual cases seriously. Its really telling about someones character when you would put the validity of actual victims on the line so you can extract some petty revenge on your partner. Why coukdbt I be born a fucking cat.... Or... Goddamn a shoe or some shit

The court system is designed to favor women in terms of parenthood and the welfare of the child. It's just a fact. I dont understand why people are even afraid to acknowledge this, like it will invalidate their own beliefs or something.

I find myself falling into typical male roles without realizing, working way to many hours so I can take care of everything because I feel like im responsible for everyone's well being. I went 3 months in between jobs once and felt like i didnt deserve to be a man. I dont know what any of that means but it can't be healthy.

It's so weird how these women hate men but then wonder why they cant find a partner or whatever and then blame it on men being sexist. It's like if I were sitting here eating a steak and lecturing you on how you need to stop killing cows.

Huuuh. Like when a guy will pretend to give a shit about feminisim, equality, or anything in that vein really in an attempt to avoid criticism. Like really TRY hard to the point that it's obviously an act. Think: "I'm not racist, I have tons of black friends"
