I guess we're all feminists by that definition.

That misandry bubble article is fascinating. I'm about halfway done. But who is dr Helen and why should I care?

This is by far the dumbest post I've seen on this sub. superman has huge muscles. This is a fact. So it would seem appropriate for a superman costume to have huge muscles. Does anyone here honestly believe that a five year old is going to be harmed by wearing a superman or batman costume with muscles? This is just stupid.

You guys are ridiculous. Women are actual second class citizens in most of the world including Turkey. You cannot be applying Western standards to a country where a woman who is raped could be a victim of an honor killing. Not that it's a common thing, but the culture that would allow that is just below the surface there. Let's keep the mens rights train focused on places where men have more or less given up their institutional advantages and are being disadvantaged in others.

I think that this is one of those things that biology will just not allow to be fair. A woman needs to have the final say on what happens to her body, so a man can't be the one to insist on an abortion. I don't think that a woman can abandon/put up for adoption a kid w/out the father's consent. Unless of course she doesn't tell the guy that she's preggers. Either way, people should be financially responsible for their kids, regardless if they wanted them or not.

That's horrible. I remember reading a thread full of similar stories of women predators raping/drugging college guys. My internet sucks right now and I can't find the thread. BTW, you weren't 'taken advantage of', you were RAPED. Thank you for sharing your story.

This isn't a men's rights issue.

I think the reason people were upset was not that they were offended by the joke, but rather that it was sent by the guy's HR department. If it were a sexist joke about women, there would be sexual harassment and hostile work environment lawsuits. And they'd probably succeed.

that's just fear mongering right there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
