I think it has less to do with what you said and a lot more to do with MR being a taboo. They don't want to end up being labeled as hate group supporters. Give it time, once the general populace starts coming around so will they. Don't be mad at them, they aren't attacking us they are just protecting their reputation. Similarly to /r/bestof they don't want to be involved in extremely controversial topics.

Just look at their karma score, before I saw that I thought I spent too much time on reddit. This is entirely speculation on my part but it seems like they honestly have nothing better to do. In general, I think we need to work on how we react to these types of people. We should either dismiss or completely ignore them without lowering ourselves to their standards.
