Honestly, something like a chronic condition is well outside of what I could give reliable advice on but I will do my best. If you think you have a bad walking habit maybe try looking into physical therapy whether ones you can do on your own or guided, maybe even get it checked out by a sports doctor who specializes in those injuries if your insurance covers it. If you are doing leg day and cardio on the same day don't do that, also vary the type of cardio you do, running one day, jogging anothe…

Post workout mirror or gym mirror 7/10, normal mirror in the morning 6/10, pics 5/10, and video 6/7 out of 10 depending on what I am doing in it.

I feel pretty similar to you man, but my lack of interest in really trying in the dating market is more due to being happy with what I have achieved and focusing on just bettering myself vs the unknown cost/rewards of dating. Also, congrats on the weight loss, if you want any nutrition/workout tips you can dm me I am not an expert but at least from who I have helped people seem to think I give good advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/22 06:25 PM

I agree it is annoying when they ask a question when either people are not going to answer, going to answer and lie, or tell the truth but due to the other two factors you don't know if they are being honest.

If we are getting technical then yes, but I think it is fair of me to assume that from your original comment and my response that we were talking about firefighting jobs that have physical requirements.

I am fine with a man being a daycare worker but if I die since women can't carry my body out of a burning building I will be pissed. Not saying all men would be better fighter fighters than all women but the average man would be a better firefighter than the average woman.

I know like one gen z couple that is married and no others, obviously, we will see in a couple more years but I think less than half of my generation will be married, not saying half won't get married but divorces will keep it around 50%.

People who are unsuccessful but have a lot going for them are most likely to respond to those types of posts. Also lying a good example is dick size since many claim to have above average johnson but with how averages work we know that is not true.

I have seen this play out and it is honestly kinda sad, a lot of people both men and women marry too early and once the hormones fade out they end up divorced and with a kid or a lot of baggage, I don't really know the solution but I am leaning more and more toward MGTOW and just focusing on maximizing other areas of my life like fitness, travel and wealth. I am 21m btw and I kinda feel like my generation is in a transitory period a lot of us witnessed the ruined relationships of Millenials and …

Any guy can get a 6 pack so that one is easy, with education and the age range men making 100k at some point in their career is not crazy, and 6 feet is like 15% of men

Might be selection bias as well if there are thousands of men who look at that thread and only 10% respond those 10% will probably be better off than those who don't respond.

Not a woman but I can maybe answer, I have only been approached a handful of times and always by women I would consider not as attractive as myself, and in my life I have never seen women approach what I would say is her looks match. Also, you might just not be in any environment where approaches are normal, the gym is a no-go, and if you practice law maybe the office environment is not approach friendly.

I am most likely going to end up as a military officer for at least a couple of years but I might do the full 20 so I can retire young or switch to private, my master's that I will start next year is either going to be policy analysis or data analytics and I lean towards the ladder since then I could do consulting work for both private and the government. Holy moly, I will call back to my earlier comment about not wanting to waste either of our time and low and behold I was proved correct again. I think there is some truth to having a highly disagreeable woman as a partner since if she is disagreeable towards most men she is more likely to stay loyal once she has committed to you.

What do you mean by agreeableness in this context?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 02:13 AM

To be perfectly honest my original point was that a 1.1% difference in sleeping with your boss is very small, and than you started talking about a narrative that I have never put forth like if you want to engage with what I say that is fine but you clearly don't you want me to act as a surrogate for the men who disagreed with you about the alleged narrative that they put forth about women sleeping with their bosses more which, to be frank, is really fucking annoying since it is not even a real c…

Agree, I would like to note how we don't really have information on how addictive porn. Also as long as you hold that obese people can stop being obese at any time I don't have any issues with your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 12:35 PM

I think in this case you are blaming men for something they don't really have control over, porn is targeted at young men in order to get the addicted. It is like blaming children for being obese

Yeah the diet is what worries me and this would be a long way out since I plan on doing 3 months just focused on building some muscle in lacking areas and it would take around another 3 months at least to diet down and this is with the semester starting up again so I am a little hesitant to commit. I think if I can get down to single digits like 9% bodyfat while still having energy than I might think about it more.

At the gym today I had a 30 year old bodybuilder tell me I should consider men's physique, and in the same session a younger guy maybe 18 said he wants to look like me in the future and it felt good. What types of lessons will you teach them in regards to dating? Know your worth and know that pretty much every other human besides yourself does not have your best interest in mind, in terms of dating is would be vet properly but if I actually had a daughter most of the focus would be on her succeeding in school and extracriculars. What are your hopes for them? That they are able to live a happy life it that involves getting married and having kids with a non trash man, great if they want to be…

Okay, so cheating is bad, in the past men cheated(or at least addmited to it) at higher rates than women, now that women are cheating at about the same right you still try and portray men as being worse due to the effort they have to put in. My goodness cheating is bad whether done by men or women please for the sake of my sanity stop trying to make everything somehow portray men in a bad light it gets so exhausting to deal with.

If we are bringing up philosophy I am more of a rationalist and actually try to doubt what I see and believe when appropriate since I hope to strive towards having an unbiased worldview, which is obviously impossible to achieve. For my complaint as I would put it about people not finding me attractive before I can find it silly since I'll acknowledge that the result is what matters since I see many speak about self-improvement but never actually do it. I'll try to explain, from a logical standpo…

I can tell you are being disingenuous but I will answer honestly, of course, looks matter and I would not date someone who I did not find attractive my real issue is that I think with all the information out there about how romance works and such pretty much any idea that what you would classically think of love existing is shown to be pretty much false. It then boils down to the choice of whether are decide to get married and have children or just stay single and focus on living the best life l…

I'll be honest I have done the self-improvement and now get more attention from women so I can't complain but in the past, I always had the idea of finding someone to date and marry but knowing that the majority of women will treat someone different based on how they look kinda takes away the idea that love exists when it is just humans finding each other hot, I guess what bothers me is that if I was short or had ugly features there would really be no option for love for me, so if it only exists…

I don't even think most women realize how insulting it is to be told you are a nice guy since it pretty much means they don't have any issues with you as a person just that they don't find you attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 10:07 PM
2

Does the black pill talk about stuff like how looks influence personality, like good-looking babies, receive more care and thus are more likely to have better personalties? Or that ugly people are generally treated worse and that may result in a worse personality as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 01:53 PM
1

I'll believe you but I am from the midwest as well and have never seen a guy do that in person or hear about one getting angry after being rejected, I still think it happens but my guess is the guys who are hitting on a lot of women are being overly represented since 1 guy can hit on 100 women and have an entitled attitude vs what I see is a guy will ask a few women out that he has a shared group from until he enters a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 01:51 PM

Maybe I did three sports in high school and was varsity sophomore year up on two of them but if you are introverted towards women it does not help.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/22 12:59 AM

PUA are not looked up to by most men except for maybe the red pill forum and such which I don't even think has 100,000 users. I can't even agree with men cheering other men on for doing casual sex or giving each other high fives. Also we can even run with your argument and create a world where men shame man whores do you think those men suddenly stop being man whores? Or would they just cut out those who shame them and be friends with men who don't?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 10:18 PM
1

I guess I would have to agree on this just based on the fact that I have seen men who high notch counts settle down with lower notch count women to have children, but maybe the women just hid it better in the past. Not to say that is common though most guys who sleep around will marry a girl who slept around as well (if they get married that is). This may be a recent trend but I have seen some guys who have success with women not settling down and this is from 25-40+ from who I know in real life…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 10:04 PM

Men don't control other men's behavior, if people (hvm) can get easy sex they are going to take it, just like how women will take the easy sex with a hvm

Supposed to be based on the similarion but they seem to be taken very liberal interpretation, but to be honest they were screwed either way since they are going to be compared to the lord of the rings trilogy by Peter Jackson that many regard as the best trilogy of all time up with only the original star wars. Someone else brought this up but original characters that are diverse are fine like black panther and miles but taking already established characters and turning them diverse is stupid and…

It is forced though, take the new lord of the rings series by amazon completely ignores the world Tolkien had created in favor of diversity and instead of focusing on staying true to the source material something lord of the rings fans are known for they went full woke and I doubt it will be remembered 5 years from now.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 02:38 AM

I think it is around 23 when people are entering into the relationships with the partner they will marry if I remember since people get married late 20s and are typically dating/engaged for a couple of years.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 02:37 AM

Yeah but once we get to this point we need to start talking about cognitive behavioral therapy and such (hope I am using that term right) since if someone can understand they have a disorder they should also be able to take the steps needed to address it. To add on I also think it is fair for both men and women not to date someone who still has issues related to childhood trauma that has not been addressed, this is just me bringing in the sub's topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 02:28 AM

Yeah that is why I don't care too much for it either, except if it is a cute girl miring me during a workout
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 02:25 AM

Sure I would agree, but it can be other things like the food someone is eating, how much sunshine they get, whether they are overweight, or if they work out, and many other factors. Take how many Americans are vitamin d deficient if they fixed that I bet a lot would be happier.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 01:55 AM

District attorneys can make around 60-80k in my state and a lot of doctors have debt and are actually fiscally irresponsible, also six figures for a single person is so far removed from even median household income that takes into account two people. Like I am on track to make six figures in my 30s if my career choice pans out but that is 90th+ percentile in my state. Do you live in New York, California, or Texas?

/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 10:00 PM

I fucking hope not, women spend a shit ton of money on products that make them marginally more attractive. If a guy wants to look good he needs to use whitening strips, work out, get a good shampoo and conditioner and add in maybe one lotion for the face, and use champ stick in the winter. Also the basic things like deodorant, college if going out, and having proper dental work done.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 09:55 PM

I mostly agree, in terms of dating most couples I see are looks match but I have seen more attractive guys with less attractive women more so than the opposite and my best guess is that unattractive women would rather not date at all than date their looks match.

I applaud both men and women who take the time to take care of themselves both through the gym and diet, though it can get too crazy when people start taking steroids and such or having an eating disorder. That being said I think the argument that many put forth of muscle-heads not being intelligent is false since in my experience people who take care of their bodies also take care of their academics and such as well.

I don't know maybe, I am kinda in the attraction cannot be negotiated group, if a woman does not find you attractive for who you then I don't think that relationship will be strong. Like if we are talking about casual sex than maybe you can convince a drunk chick to fuck you but I don't really find any value in that and causal sex, in general, seems like a bad deal for men, women, and society. Also who is making profit on not teaching men how to get laid?

I was speaking generally, in terms of the effect disappearing on nongamers that can be explained by people who share a similar hobby being attracted to people who are good at that hobby. The most interesting takeaway for me is that if you want to attract someone being good at a skill they like could be an option. I don't think this is news to anyone though.

I think that is a fair criticism to make but when over half the population is overweight it becomes harder for men to apply standards for personality as well, since in my opinion if the average man vets for both personality and looks he will filter out most women

You need to break this down by age groups, the early 20 guys on here can reasonably expect to date a woman who is at the same fitness level vs the 30 and up the crowd, besides most of the other points of being covered such as fat women still having high standards and you also bring up traits like height and such for men vs being fat which is just a choice of the women's part. Also while I am not attracted to overweight women a lot of guys are, on the flipside I don't think I have ever seen a fat…

The wall exists for both men and women in terms of physical attraction, due to how human aging works it seems like women hit it a couple of years earlier than men when it comes to skin quality and other things that deal with age. Things like drugs, drinking, and such can accelerate the rate that both men and women seem to hit the wall but genetics also plays a role. I think the real wall for women is by if they can secure a man that they desire to have a family with, we all know that women can g…

Big disagree on this one, we are a sexually dimorphic species. Whether it is by height, muscle, bone density, different sexual organs, brain size, IQ, social intelligence, or even things like smell and sight there are differences for example. Men and women are not the same and I am also not arguing that one is better than the other since both have strengths and weaknesses on average that allowed for the human species to get to this point.

If you want stats about women lying about their sexual history this should suffice https://www.jstor.org/stable/3813768?seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents It is old so I would assume overtime the amount who lie has gone up. Also, the 4-5 count was taking into account older generations and even if we look at younger ones it will most likely be greater than before.

After having you explain it I think I actually agree more with the "attraction cannot be negotiated" part. I dislike redpill in general since it seems to promote a lifestyle that harms both men and women but if a woman does not find a guy attractive right off the bat I don't think his behavior will have a major difference in changing it and even if it can to some degree the relationship he will have with a woman who had a spark right off vs one he had to fight for will most likely be different. …

I am kinda sick of the the 80/20 point it is probably more of an 60/40 and the 80/20 only applies in the case of hookups. Anyways obesity might be one factor since fat men are not attractive and fat women aren't either. Through OLD I think soft harems are actually becoming a real thing where a woman who is secure on her own is able to get all the sex she wants from a hot guy in an FWB situation and if they try to lock him down and fail they just become celibate. Women believe that inequality is unfair and any advantage that one group has should be gotten rid of until it comes to themselves. I am at least consistent and think men should be for themselves on this as well as social issues.

I don't really think it is fair to be misogynistic towards women as a whole since in many cases they are acting in their best just as men would do if in the same position. I don't know about how it is for the general population of men but from the guys I know and am friends with it seems like the more attractive guys actually underestimate how good they look while the less attractive guys overestimate, say you have a guy who is a 4 he might say he is a 5 or 6 since he does not want to feel below average, this means that actual 5's or 6's get bumped up to 7+ in their minds so in order to not consider themselves ugly they inflate men's attractiveness. BMI is pretty trash as an individual metric but for population-level groups, it is a good measure. Also, fat people abound including obese and morbidly obese but I would say most men fall into skinny fat/beer gut when older nad women fall into frumpy which for both these groups as long as their clothes are descent it is not overly noticeable.

If I remember correctly you work in upper management or something like law, which is a white-collar job that in the past could be expected to have good returns(and to a certain extent still does). Not everyone who goes to college is going to go on to med school, law school, get a MBA, and such. That being said the majority of student debt is held by master's degree and above students, this means that if we write off student debt the people who were already going to make the most money, simply ha…

Fast food is not as cheap as it once was, I have calculated it and for my lifestyle, I would be spending more in time/gas/money if I ate out vs cooking all my food at home. But I am probably an exception since a good portion of my calories comes from chicken, eggs, milk, and potatoes and I eat a multivitamin and no vegetables.

I should have an answer by around 2025, for me to consider myself sexually successful I would have to be either married and have kids or be in a long-term relationship that I think will end in marriage. If I don't see that happening I will switch to trying to get casual sex to see if I can and if I am able I would consider myself sexually successful for that goal. I am going to combine sexual success and relationship success for if I consider someone sexually successful. This means that if a man…

You just named three things I don't like alongside student loan forgiveness. I am fine with some things like income-based repayment, but it is unfair if people who did not go to college and have worked since 16 have to pay for those who did go to college and will outearn them significantly. I do think the environment is a bigger factor in obesity, but to completely count out the self-control factor would be taking out a major part of the equation. I can speak from personal experience but once I put in the effort to count my calories, and macros the weight came off and stayed off. There is also modern research on what we can do to stay satiated, what the proper balance of macros is and what foods to avoid, and what to eat. The issue is that you have to either have the environment fa…

There is a shifting trend towards women being more consumerist than men, and when it comes to men's spending it was more geared towards things like the house, food, utilities, and such, and women's spending was more based on the vacation, clothes and those type of items. This has most likely changed alongside the switch towards women being more consumerist.

Wrote to my representative about how I think abortion should be done in my state, my hope is it is allowed in the case of incest, danger to the mother's life, and major deformities that would severely affect the life of the child but except for those cases and maybe a couple I missed it should be outlawed after 8-12 weeks. The issue is now done for me and besides this post and the comments I respond to I will not be talking about it anymore both on Reddit and in real life.

Perhaps you are right and I don't understand, perhaps you also don't understand my viewpoint, and to be clear I don't want you to kill yourself or anything but if that is your take if you cannot get an abortion I honestly think the best option would just be to not have sex, plenty of people live perfectly happy lives not doing so and it solves this issue.

How would forced blood donation work? I am a doner and do give blood but there is also the profit motive behind blood drives that would have to be solved for me to agree with something like forced blood donation. Also, I would disagree, if you have sex by the act itself(unless in cases of rape) implies that you made the choice to get pregnant. If I could trade forced donation for abortion being outlawed nationwide and women not doing it underground I would take that trade.

I would not be the one imprisoning you, you can make the choice to not have sex that results in pregnancy by either practicing abstinence, using multiple contraceptive measures, only doing oral, or maybe even only dating women. Other posters have discussed how abortion has gone down compared to the past and if possible I feel like now would be a good time to focus on improving both pre and post-natal care. I would like to see a push for universal pre-k and better sex education about STDs, pregnancy, and such. The actually incels don't deserve to be empathized with, but I also see too many people pick the worst of a group (sexually unsuccessful men) and then apply the worst of some of them to all of them. This is not unique to this sub but can be done for religion, race, and pretty much any box we separate ourselves into. I am going to argue against this, my first point is that within three generations of women's sexual freedom societies tend to collapse and decay. This is from an old anthropology's work that I think is true, operating off this we can see that both pre and post-nuptial loyalty is important for optimizing the male output of society which is historically how most societies have been built. Looks like a good read, especially with the author's background, but if you read a lot of people's comments it seems like one of the main themes is lack of eligible partners, deformities, or location/economic status, but I am sure this book could help some people on here I am a big fan of CBT

Yeah, cheating is pretty brutal, the cheating rate is about even for my age range but men still do lead by around 4% or something off the top of my head. I don't know what is causing people to cheat, if it was only one friend in your group I might have said she was maybe just picking the wrong guys but if it was all of them it might be a sign of a greater social issue. What type of social class would you consider your friend group? I would say mine is professional middle class so I think the che…

I'll break my answer down into multiple reasons giving the most important first and work from there. Lack of eligible partners, in the United States and my state in particular obesity and being overweight is very common even among younger adults, I am 21 and my age range would be 18-24, and cutting out overweight women makes at least 1/3 gone right off the bat, let's take off another 40% from women in relationships and I am also moderate and lean conservative but am not religious which the major…

I think in part you are true since I also know some shorter guys who do well with women but guess what they are also really good-looking so they are still rewarded by success in dating due to that. I think it is more of good-looking people become social and ugly people do not since the former is rewarded more for their efforts.

You are saying that it is guys playing too many video games and staying indoors which is the problem, I am saying I have seen social guys not have luck and guess what is common, they are typically short or unattractive in some way. If all the men that complained about not having a girlfriend went to bars to socialize it may result in some of them getting into a relationship but for most nothing would come of it.

Due to the inherent social advantage that women have(less punishment for the same crime, more likely to be trusted by strangers, etc...) in a legally equal society women will have an advantage, there is no solution to this since it would require women to not be legally equal to balance the rights that are social. 2nd one, women cannot be sexually free since it leads to societal collapse within 3 generations that is why women's sexuality must be restricted for a stable society. Not all women want to have children, if we could have women who don't want to be mothers in those positions it would be fine no? Also maybe there could be a compromise like for two years after having a child a woman has support but I don't know the logistics behind how it would work. Also to nitpick there being no female researchers would probably be fine since most technological advances are made by the top percentile of the top 1% of men due to men having more outliers when it comes to the top…

No blame here, my original point is that working moms are not doing it out of choice but necessity. If a woman does not breastfeed and she stays at home I will liable her as a bad mother, pumping is fine but there is a lot of emotional connection between a mother and her baby when she breastfeeds due to chemical reactions not certain on the exact details but I know it exists.

Baby formula is used for infants either in place of breast milk or as supplementation, for most cases infants should be exclusively breastfed for up until 6 months, and then real foods that are made for children should be slowly introduced alongside breastfeeding for up to two years until fully solid foods are introduced.

Honestly, I view it as a positive change, since the more low-value men are viewed as dangerous it may become a self-fulfilling prophecy, and society will either have to address it or suppress it and I think it will be fun to watch either way.

The vast majority of women have worked but I would still argue that having the option of being a full-time stay-at-home parent can be invaluable for early development, for example perhaps there would not be a baby formula shortage if women were able to stay home and feed their children providing vital nutrients for growth.

What does everyone think of this statement? Women entering the workforce in mass made it harder for other women to be stay-at-home moms even if they desired which has forced women who would have been happier being stay-at-home moms into the workforce either alongside raising their children making their workload greater or women forsake having kids due to the pressure of having a career.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 12:45 AM
2

I actually think the issue you bring up of one-earner not being able to support a family is the problem that needs to be addressed not SAHMs. From my perception women entering the workforce was negative for the middle class especially middle-class men since the supply of workers was not quite doubled but increased by a large amount and the upper class simply have instigated a proxy war between the genders since without men and women united against them they will stay in power. Obviously, we cann…

I have the same opinion, if I had the choice I would be gay since it honestly seems better than dating women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:27 PM

Probably true but what I was trying to convey is that if a man lifts naturally and diets well he will never hear women say he is too muscular since their standards are off and most of them think that Chris Hemsworth is natural.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:24 PM
1

Women like muscles, just not overly large ones that you can pretty much only get from roids. Having a job is normal except for students and those in training. The gym complaint is accurate since most women here except for maybe one off the top of my head don't understand how much effort it takes a man to achieve a great physique.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/22 06:04 PM
3

If your point is that the majority of guys in relationships are not assholes I can understand that, but I think the point OP was trying to make is that whether a man is misogynistic or not does not have an effect on whether they are single since it is how they look that matters not their opinions on women.

Not quite to the point where I think women aren't worth it at all but give me a year and I may change my answer. I do think dating is slightly less hard than men make it out to be on here but still pretty dang difficult, combine this with I would say at least 70% of single women not being worth it and I am being generous, that makes dating with the expectation of a good return very hard.

Yes, it will help him, as he starts gaining more muscle his confidence will go up and he will care more about other aspects of his appearance such as skincare, hair, and wardrobe. If he lookmaxes and looks for an Indian girlfriend to date/marry he should succeed. He will never be able to "get girls" as in hookups from OLD but if he warm approaches and builds a strong social circle he can succeed.

Yes if my partner did not lose attraction I would be a SAHD however it seems that married couples where the man earns less have less fun time and if that is true I might pass unless that was addressed.

Trash take, wealthy men in the best may have had privilege but that no longer applies to lower and middle-class men. Look up the apex fallacy and how women apply the privileges that wealthy men had to all men to justify the mistreatment of lower and middle-class men. Also, wealthy guys still have privilege so the "equality" is not even real.

Pretty obvious that young men are falling behind their female counterparts, whether in the workforce, school, and in social life. However, the rhetoric has shifted so far towards the idea that men need no assistance and are the privileged class that actually suggesting ideas/programs that benefit them is shot down.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/22 07:48 PM

Okay, that is fair, I can see how it can be unproductive to combine the two groups directly. I do think they both have the same root cause however at least when we are talking about young male mass shooters.

Can someone explain to me why we apply more value to people killed in shootings than people who die through other means? By 2050 about 80% of the American population is going to be overweight or obese and obesity is going to be one of the biggest factors on why men and women don't find each other sexually attractive. Honestly, I disagree with the fundamental assumptions you are making, this is ignoring the hormonal and brain differences between men and women and what they naturally gravitate towards like we actually know there are differences between the sexes due to how individuals with gender dysphoria have the same/similar brain patterns as the sex they identify with and that cannot be conditioned.

I don't know how masculinity and feminity in humans play out since we are a sexually dimorphic species I would probably be considered traditionally masculine, tall, large frame, large hands, and lots of body hair, but I am mostly attracted to masculine women like tall 5'11+, muscular(not roided but athletic looking) and outgoing which are all traits typically associated with men. I may try it, I currently do double linear periodization where I either increase the reps from 8-12 or increase the weight. For example, say I do Week 1 bench 135x8 for 4 sets, then week 2 135x12 for 4 sets then week 3 145x8 for four sets and repeat, I have never really reached a wall doing this.

Yes, when hooked up to a fake polygraph detector the average sexual history increases, whereas for men they are more honest about their sexual history, and in the experiment, it was anonymous which means that even when there are anonymity women still lie about their sexual history and I would not be surprised if they lied even more if it was not anonymous.

Yes it is, are you trying to do a gotcha or something? Since you don't seem to understand how I can think this while still being consistent, the reason I would/cannot hold it against another man is that I am not trying to date/marry men but I am trying to find women to date/marry, this means I am going to be more concerned about the requirements for her for me to date/marry like I don't have control over who other men date/what they do I only have control over who I date/marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/22 02:13 AM

I do understand where you are coming from, and if you consider it hypocrisy for me to care about a women's behavior and not a man's it is not wrong. However, the only way I can apply my values is by deciding who I date/don't date I can give advice to my male friends about what I think is right but they will probably not hold the same values.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/22 01:57 AM

I am typically the one who brings up the replication crisis and I know all about how bad most social science is nowadays, that being said the person I was talking to wanted a source for a claim someone made, I provided that source you can go on and attack the methodology, the ones who funded the study and where the study came from. But if there is a paper supporting your point I can also do the exact same, the issue is then we get to a point where neither of us can use third party sources and we…

When talking about hookups or casual sex at least 20% of women I would say have tried it https://www.reddit.com/r/BlackPillScience/comments/bnj3jj/doing_some_math_on_that_belgian_tinder_study_to/ The right guy is probably conventionally good-looking and wealthy and has multiple options. I don't quite know what you mean by enormously high standards, I think most women want guys who make as much if not more than them, is a couple of inchs taller, and is more fit than them. Not to sound pessimistic but is that time period 18-25 a pretty big growth period since it marks people's first entrance into either higher education or the beginnings of their careers alongside a lot of people entering into the relationship that will end with marraige. Also 18 year olds are prime targets for radicalization, that is why both the military and terrorist organization target young men.

It seems to drop greatly from the 18-29 to 30-49 age range since a lot of women date men a couple of years older than them. But 51% of young men being single is a recipe for chaos.

"Don’t date men with porn and video game addictions. “Playing video games all day every day isn’t normal” Agree normal advice, "A man should pay on the first date and the vast majority of dates" sexist/classist but by the studies if a man wants to have a better shot neccesary and I would also tell a relative to do that since it filters out poor men/men who don't want to invest, “date around to see what I liked” can you explain what he meant by this? Interesting, not surprised though I have noticed a trend of sexually successful guys pairing off with more sexually reserved women and I find it interesting since a lot of women on here say that both sexually successful men and women pair off with each other but I have noticed that at least for my age range it seems women run around men when it comes to partner count than think that men should be fine marrying them when the guys did not experience the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 07:52 PM

Do you both have a similar sexual history/compatibility?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 07:36 PM
2

Are you married btw?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 07:25 PM
2

Honestly, I think this is influenced by age as well, with men our prefrontal cortex are not fully developed until around 25 which controls things like impulse control which some sex revolves around. So you so some of us think we are different but are not and I would say you are incorrect since among men some will have higher control over their desires and others will not, similar to how some men and women can control how much they eat and others cannot.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 06:15 PM
6

I guess we are asking in terms of what would turn me off from a partner, since I am 21m and want to wait until marriage anything more than 1 would be high, but I might switch my opinion if I don't find someone within the next 1-2 years.

Women are not improving the gene pool at the moment since we are in a dysgenic society via the fact that more intelligent women are having little/no children well less intelligent women are having more children. If women could actually select traits that are better for the species that would be great. I don't disagree with what you said women care about looks and will fuck guys with bad personality traits if they get the right feeling.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 01:32 PM
1

Then it also makes sense for a man with a lot of resources who can support multiple women to have as many children as possible as many polyamorous societies did, then there is also the stuff I would get banned for saying. What I mean is something can make sense from a biological perspective but we have decided that it is a detriment to society as a whole especially if we are talking about things that improve male reproductive success.

Bullshit most domestic violence and rape/murder to women occurs by either male relatives or men they are already in a relationship with, the incels you speak of committing violence are far less likely to compared to men who are sexually successful, remember most rapists are not incel virgins but are typically men who already have success with women. The whole "Oh we don't want to date incels because they can kill us" is a shit excuse when in reality they are saying they don't like ugly/autistic …

Human beings are social animals, we already have research on touch starvation, and being loved can either be considered a fundamental need or above it just outside of food, shelter, and water. Some men are fine alone but a lot are unhappy and just fill the void with pets, drugs, video games, porn, and which is probably not good for society either.

Unironically with women being less happy, women are willing to marry men who are matched when it comes to income some are even willing to marry/date men who make less(not as much as those who date/marry those who make more) which means that women will enter into these egalitarian relationships and due to the discrepancy in standards of cleanliness they will do more housework making them less happy and in turn having less sex with their boyfriends and husbands making them less happy as well. Also…

I don't really care about gun violence is seems like such a non-issue to be compared to things like obesity, and the attention that the former is given over the other seems strange considering how the ladder kills so many more. Like some gun laws are fine of course for former felons and people who have been diagnosed with mental disorders, I am even in support of volunteer gun safes for kid protection but anything that deals with taking away a constitutional right would have to be an amendment.

Men have always treated me pretty well except for the occasional guy trying to be a bully but I shut those down at a young age, women have mostly treated me netrually with some more attention now that I have lost weight so overall I would say neither since well most men treat me well I have gotten some negative treatment from them and for women, almost all treatment has been neutral or nonexistent.

I remember in one of his talks he was surprised by very high power career women deciding to get married around their 30s to typically career men(so not losers who think they will peak by 30), and this was with firms and businesses wanting to retain these women since they were high performers so it is interesting.

The majority of men on here and I would say the majority of men do not mind waiting for a woman who has a low notch count, the issue they have is when a woman has had casual sex in the past (1-night stand, FWB, and such) but now wants to take it slow when she finds someone she wants to be with long term. Do you think women are happier after divorce since they got divorced since the marriage was unhappy? Also, I can think of a multitude of other factors that can contribute to a man being less happy after divorce such as limited visiting rights to their children. Men more so than women have the ability to cheat and remain happily married vs when women cheat they are more likely to be unhappy and look for a new relationship, we can argue whether men or women are the worse, but there is a difference, also the number of men vs women cheating has definitely gone more 50/50 in recent times. Unironically maturity, if you have a mid-30s man who wants someone to date he may decide to go with an older woman since she will most likely not want kids compared to those around their early 30s who are trying to get hitched. The reason I bring this up is I have a 50-year-old aunt who is dating a late 30s guy, weird to me but the guy just wanted someone mature to do things with and they both take care of themselves so my aunt probably looks around 40 since pretty much everyone in my family age…

Does anyone have any recent data on the desire for young men to have families and children, I am looking at this article https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2014/09/24/chapter-1-public-views-on-marriage/ and the biggest reason for young men and women not wanting to get married is not ready/financial and I wonder if anything has changed in the past 8ish years, also here is shows that women have a greater desire to get married than men.

Not surprising that men who benefit from casual sex are more likely to be in support of it than men who do not benefit from it, this is a similar phenomenon to people who benefit from how the current tax system is set up(the wealthy and corporations) and those who do not benefit the middle and lower class.

For hypertrophy purposes going to failure is not the best unless it is the very last set of a muscle group. Say I am doing db incline press and I can do 70x12, then 70x8 for three vs doing 70x10 for four in total I did 36 reps of the same weight the first one and 40 reps the 2nd one getting more time under tension in the 2nd scenario also lower risk of injury and generally than difference between going to failure and not is little in terms of gains.

You can say that your morality is the one that matters and I can disagree that is true, I will take the steps needed to make sure those who need protection are protected from people like you that is also true.

You and your partners' personal decisions do not give you the right to take away the life from another person and speaking of law there is most likely no constitutional protection for abortion it will most likely be a state issue. It's not even about viewing sex differently it is about not letting people harm others since as a society we typically have a vested interest in preventing that. Also, you are starting to play word games saying that abortion is just a medical procedure I could share so…

I kinda understand the pro-abortion argument from a women's perspective but when it comes from a man it just sounds like they don't want to be held responsible for their own actions. A big part of the pro-life side is that you cannot kill another human being due to not liking the results of your personal choices since the unborn baby did not have a choice and barring extreme circumstances you and the woman you got pregnant did have a choice and as a society, we have decided that in some cases wh…

If I agreed that being obese is immoral I would probably agree with that statement as well
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 12:25 AM

I agree with their being enough food but one big issue is the location of people relative to where the food is grown and the cost of transporting the food
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 12:24 AM
1

Yes, I know that wealth correlates with obesity with less wealthy people typically being more obese, to a certain extent I think that someone can eat healthy for a reasonable amount of money since staples like chicken, beef, eggs, milk and oats bought in bulk are all quite cheap compared to eating out
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/22 12:23 AM
1

Q4A Is it immoral to be obese? Considering how even in first-world countries there are people who struggle with food insecurity is it immoral to take in more food than is necessary for your goals, I would say no and if people want I can explain my reasoning but I would like to hear from others.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/22 06:25 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/22 06:21 PM
1

You seem to be misunderstanding something I would work towards the things I have described whether abortion was made illegal or not it is just now that it is being made illegal in many places I hope that we can get more people to focus on the issues have described from both sides.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/22 02:58 PM

I did not say that making abortion illegal will cause them to occur, I am saying that the energy that we focus on abortion should be spent on making those things occur since a major part of the pro-abortion argument is that society will get worse due to crime rising due to unwanted children I would hope we could do our best to address what causes those children to grow up to become criminals vs simply killing them off. Personally speaking, while I agree with a lot of democratic ideas like a bett…

So the evil of abortion to me is greater than there being more single mothers and I hope that we as a society can make strides toward providing unwanted children with environments where they can live great lives. The fact is that in around half of the states of the U.S. abortion is going to be restricted to a large degree most likely, this means that we need to work within those boundaries to ensure that children who would have been aborted have a support network before pre-judging them and deci…

I'll give you my viewpoint real quick, abortion is such a great evil to me that I would be willing to take the risk of increased crime than let it continue, that being said I think at this point it would be most productive to focus on how we can help the children who would otherwise have been aborted live the best lives they can since that would probably be what is best for society and them as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/22 02:33 PM

I know the statistic, the reason I brought that up is I have seen multiple people bring up how it is going to increase the black population both from left-wing people and even right-wing who think it is negative that abortion will no longer kill black children at a higher rate. To me, at least poverty is a societal issue that needs to be addressed but abortion is such a moral evil that there is no compromise in terms of my views. I am going, to be honest, I am kinda confused by one of the main reasons pro-abortion advocates are putting out there is that there are going to be more criminals in 18 years and this is due to black babies not getting aborted like I don't like to throw around the word racism since it seems overused but it is eugenics at least and it so weird to me to use as an argument.

Who thinks that the gender war is really just an offshoot of the class war with typically the rich and wealthy men on one side with corporate support going against the middle-class men, this is going to sound like a conspiracy but what better way to target the middle class and make no one care about their erosion than to target men the biggest part of the middle class(this was done to the lower class by targeting men as well through anti-drug legislation and three-strike laws). Honestly, the men don't compliment other men argument is kinda weird since men express themselves differently when it comes to if they like a man, take two men going fishing together they may not say much to each other but just the quiet presence of each other shows how they enjoy each others company. On another note, I do compliment my bros all the time like saying their haircut looks nice, congratulating them on a new pr, or being dressed nice and I see more men in my age range doing this.

If we are talking about domestic violence a lot of that can be traced to a toxic work environment where a lot of men either killed themselves or beat their wives sometimes both. Not much is going to change since people are not conscious of the big picture and even if they were it is hard enough to convince a large enough group of the population to make a change. I go to a commuter campus as well, if you have any interest in sports I would recommend joining a club at my college they have mixed volleyball and every rugby player I know has a girl, you did not answer if you had a friend group since that is probably the first thing you want to do even if it is not to pick up girls but just to have some social fun.

I don't know how well this holds up when we apply it to men looking for relationships, in the real world very few men are actually practicing redpill and trying to bang a ton of women, remember the average notch count for men is 6 which means that the majority of men hitting on women are doing so for relationships first and most likely sex as a secondary objective. I mean it is interesting that you think men being forced to fight and die against their will is okay. The government only has the rights that we give it and if the population decided that having men forced to fight against their will was not okay it would happen, however considering that women make up around half of the voting force I don't expect that to happen.

If you view marriage as a punishment what do you view as the opposite, is a man able to freely have sex with women without commitment it or something else? Not judging just curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/22 12:49 AM

People have the freedom to become married but except for common law, they are not forced to marry. I agree that cheating is looked down upon but having multiple options open during and up to making a relationship official seems to become more normal but I will not say that as a fact. Lastly, I agree that economic monogamy occurred but I am hoping to move past it in the post-feminist movement world.

My problem with your example here is that the middle east ties in multiple factors besides restricted sexuality for men and women such as restricted political expression, religious expression, and civil expression. Would it be fair to say that women have more to lose as a group than men from sexual restraints? What I mean by if we have a socially enforced monogamous society only a select few high-value men have to lose from not being able to leverage their value to obtain easy and wide sexual access. While for women they all lose the opportunity to leverage their sexual access for an opportunity to obtain a higher value mate. Looking at birth rates and immigration the u.s. is good for at least another 20-30 years especially since china is facing even a worse population collapse, also while we are dysgenic at the moment we still have a lot of genius being produced and moving here which will keep us on the top as long as the government stops being silly like the past administration and this one are. On the topic of porn do you think we should outlaw it for those under 25 or at least enforce the ban on it for those up t…

Way too broad man, lower-class women, and working-class deal with a ton of the same issues as men, I think you could argue that upper-class woman who is born into wealth don't face any issues but I could also argue the same for upper-class men. Maybe by dividing us by gender, the middle and lower classes ignore what is really going on by the elites like profiting off us.

My suspension is over not even from the mods of this sub but from Reddit itself so I am pretty sure that means someone disliked what I said so much they tattled to Reddit itself. Can you link me a study that says accounting for all those factors age does not have an impact on the health of a child, if you can I will concede my point which is that age of both parents does have an effect on the health of the child.

No new government programs since k-12 plus pre-k would help if they were not shit. Besides that, I don't know what else could be done, subsidize daycares? Anything the government subsides just goes up in cost, maybe some tax breaks for parents would help, but I would that would have to account for wealthy couples and would need to be geared towards lets say couples with combined incomes of less than 80k but it would need to vary by state and take into account inflation.

My dad got you beat by having me at 50, the only reason I turned out decent(debatable) is that both parents have good genetics even when they had me, my mom especially was around 39 and someone looks better than a woman 10-20 years younger now. Not smoking, drinking, doing drugs makes people age leagues better than others.
