Yeah, it's a good laugh sometimes. Other times it's frustrating to hear the things grown men think (it makes you embarrassed to be the same species as these people).

I came across it. Certainly not subscribed to it. So no, not part of it in any way! It's a sub that (clearly) targets men so, upon seeing a post (not this one) I searched it out and replied to one.

Yes, they will be different. Sexism still exists. And to be fair I think it will always exist (male against female and female against male) so, in a way, she was right to dupe them. But, in another way, she also thought it was right to dupe them. This ties into my other point: don't act strong and powerful if you can't handle criticism.

They wouldn't like it. They're saying they wouldn't mind but if it happened it would be on here with everyone screaming 'we need to stop feminism' or some nonsense like that.

Oh yeah, preach sister. I have been saying this for years but thankfully she also agrees that women can't handle being independent.

I studied Britain and the First World War at university. There was a lot of shaming done in order to get people to sign up for war, not just by the Pankhursts. They even suspended the suffrage movement to recruit people for the war effort. Don't forget, women were wanting to show men how they can be just as capable so she was recruiting as many women as she could. There's a lot of people all to willing to think negatively as soon as they hear 'feminist' and quite rightly because what exists is n…

Your post was not long (I have seen some posts that I have looked at and thought 'fuck that' and simply not read). You make a few good points and, I agree, both men and women can be wrong. The problem most men have is the incessant need for not only women but also men to focus on how bad the small percentage of men are and tar all men as that. People like you who can see through that and actually consider the opposing views are what we need more of. Evidence matters. Feminism back in the day wit…

Well, given that there could be many SUBJECTIVE interpretations of what people say, it is stupid to claim "it doesn't matter what you meant what matters is how people interpret it". That's wrong. What matters is what you mean, and it's left for others to take that how they want (if they're not stupid they will know what is meant. If they are sensitive, they will take offence because that's where their minds went - which would be a subjective interpretation). That would mean, if you haven't notic…
