3	Most People Don’t Actually Know What the Red Pill Means Exactly. I would agree with OP for the word "incel." Calling a toxic man an incel just doesn't make sense because it's not necessarily true, and you can simply say "toxic man" or say that he believes in incel ideology. However, the red pill is too abstract in its meaning to just play the etymology game. It clearly was (at least subconsciously) taken to mean "the pill that is uncomfortable to swallow" even though it also refers to seeing reality for what it is in the Matrix.
