I've had it.Dude, I just graduated college. I know you want advice for right now and I'm sure you've already heard this a lot but trust me, a year from now none of this stuff will matter. You'll stay in contact with the kids from high school that do. Focus on doing well in school, getting into a good university and focus on yourself first and foremost. Join a gym this summer and start lifting if you don't already. Look over your wardrobe and get some new (preppy) clothes. Make sure you look into universitie… | /r/seduction | 29/05/15 02:47 PM
I'm new to college this week, any advice? I'm pretty shy.Ihavepolio said it great. I say give it a shot. Worst thing that happens is you find out it's not for you and that's that. Don't worry about going yourself, that's how I did it too. Rushing is pretty informal at my school for guys, only the girls have an orientation and formal rush period. My guess is that you'd get an overview of the process from an interfraternity council member and get to meet and talk to a few guys from each fraternity. Just be respectful, friendly, shake everyone's hand and… | /r/seduction | 16/08/12 09:51 PM
I'm new to college this week, any advice? I'm pretty shy.I know fraternities get a horrible rep on reddit, but if your school has active Greek life, definitely consider rushing right away. I've met so many people that I wouldn't have otherwise known through my fraternity, including my current girlfriend. Plus you never have to worry about finding something to do on a weekend! | /r/seduction | 16/08/12 08:52 PM
"Are you in a fraternity?"Probably because you just stereotyped us right there. I consider myself a fraternity man, not a "frat boy", and frankly that's very insulting. | /r/seduction | 27/03/11 07:07 AM
What can I do if I am boring and not funny? Here's one problem. He's offering some valid advice and you're nitpicking and TRYING to find what you perceive as flaws. Stop that, right now; it's an awful habit to over-analyze things and I've been very guilty of it as well, but have been working on it. Change your wardrobe, set some goals and make sure you achieve them, work out, find a new hobby. Get out of your comfort zone! These will all make you feel better about yourself and subsequently you'll be able to branch out more. | /r/seduction | 14/01/11 01:12 AM
[FR] No movies for a first date.Ah, gotcha. That's a bummer then, I'm surprised she'd already eaten... The street with the coffeshop has a good amount of shops and restaurants on it and is only a five minute drive to a mall, so there should be plenty to do! | /r/seduction | 05/01/11 06:52 AM
[FR] No movies for a first date.Agreed. I'm planning a date for the weekend to go into the city, grab some coffee, possibly do a little shopping and THEN go catch a live show. I think movies or other shows can work well if you're sure to combine it with some form of isolated time to talk and be alone, but otherwise they're a definite no no. | /r/seduction | 05/01/11 06:40 AM
