Nah, for one humanism is about the individual while egalitarianism is about the group, at their core they are different so anyone who says that they are both doesn't know what they're talking about. And for another your actions define what principles you identify with more than your words. A feminist that purports the subjugation or humiliation of men is not a humanist and one would argue that she's not a feminist either. She's just a person with terrible ideals or maybe just a terrible person.

Ok fine, do both. My problem is with disregarding one solution for another. Teach people not to victimize and not to be victimized. And also, we have to at least try teaching people not to victimize, I was certainly never taught not to rape in school, or not to murder or hurt, and those seem like things that should be directly addressed, not allowed to be picked up from Law and Order.
