This subreddit is for men going their own way, forging their own identities and paths to self-defined success. I formed my question based directly from the description on this page.

Now, that's the best way I've ever heard it put.

Would you elaborate, please?

I want to make sure I understand what you're saying. The use of "true" or "real" to describe men can be/inherently is a shame tool for some men or all men? We all grow old, but not everyone grows up. I say that when PEOPLE are immature, childish, or emotionally undeveloped, that they don't act like an adult. A man is an adult, a boy is a child. There ain't no 5-year-old men running around the world, but there are definitely some 50-year-old boys. It's like a square/rectangle kinda thing, ya know…

By Ryan Holiday, yeah. Good book. The Obstacle is the Way is also a good one by him. I personally think ego has a place and it's less about trying to kill or deny it, and more like having a huge dog that you train fuckin' perfectly. I say that ego run amuck is the true enemy.

A small way to flex my independence? Sure. But, I know how to use a knife, chief! I wish that link would have actually embedded the ig vid right in there, but I'm still learning how to use Reddit. Happy Sunday. Keep punchin', dudes.

I've heard it said that the knight in shining armor has never done anything that really tests his chain mail.

Yours is one of my favorite responses on this thread. I know that you can't do EVERYTHING you want 100% of the time, and therefore "Absolute Freedom" is impossible. But, in a more general sense, it is entirely possible to free yourself from 99.9% of the chains that bind in society if you have the determination, self-discipline, and a burning desire to do so.

But what if you've gone your own way, achieved the success that you defined at the start of your journey, made your millions or whatever, and achieved the freedom you seek, then a woman comes along that just seems to give you great perspective? When shit hits the fan a little, she gives you advice or insights that you wouldn't have come to before, at least not as quickly. She calms and relaxes you. Not that you can't do it all yourself, but she takes all the good things you have built and compli…

I agree with you, but what about the idea that "girls just wanna have fun"? Women do enjoy sex too, they're just pressured by society to stay hush-hush about that. Seeing how their nether region nerve ending counts dwarf that of men, it surely feels a lot better for them too when the sex is good. The biggest difference between men and women that I know of is that we generally tend to be stronger with logical thinking while they are much better at feeling (not necessarily controlling) their emoti…

Fantastic, I appreciate your response. That's a super powerful scene in modern movie history. The Matrix is required viewing material for anyone looking to free their mind. This is more in line with the way I define GYOW. Because for a second there, and I'm not throwing any shade on the community, just an observation—I thought I had walked into a meeting of The He-Man Woman Haters Club like in The Little Rascals. Personally, I'd rather be on The Nebuchadnezzar ;)

No. Judging is what young, inexperienced people do best. I'm playing devil's advocate here—aren't you being judgmental of women under 25 without a career? I'm 5'10" and I've never had a woman in her mid-twenties or younger tell me I was too short. I've dated women who were taller than me. Also, I've heard both men and women talk mad smack about people who don't have a car. Guess what, I don't have a car and life is pretty badass regardless. I think this post is based on some type of fallacy.

See, that's what I'm talking about—You cannot be controlled/manipulated by ANYONE, male or female if you have deep self-ownership and understanding. And, why just women? What about family members and friends telling you what they think you should do with your life? What about being controlled and manipulated by "the man"? Think big picture here. I love women, and yes, some suck just as bad as (or more than) some dudes, but a real man doesn't have to worry one bit about being controlled by anyone…

But, what if it actually raises their energy by filling a hole in their vibrational field? What if both parties want it, but they just haven't physically consummated yet? Are they telepathically raping each other, or are they just in the process of manifesting their next sexual partner?...

If they were already Exs, I'm curious as to how she got her hands on his computer in the first place. Seems like the breakup was bad enough that he wouldn't be meeting up with her, least of all with his laptop on hand. Also, there's a digital record of her crying wolf IF she ever did follow through with going to the cops. Bye, Felicia!

The dude she met in Paris met up with her again in Istanbul. Looks like she had fun being free enough to travel for a while. Maybe that dude went back to Paris and she came back to the states, and whoever is texting her at the start of the video is just some friend-zoned chump that thinks he has a real shot with her. Maybe Paris/Istanbul dude is the real deal?... Maybe I'm missing something?

Yo, what can you say? When you're hot, you're hot.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
