It's almost exactly like you didn't watch that part of the video...

Let's not lump Ohioans in a large ignorant group just because some Ohioans are this way.

I grew up in a small rural town in Ohio. Almost every human being I knew from childhood until adulthood would cast every vote they possibly could, based on absolutely no more than two factors: did they want abortion to be illegal, and would they stand behind Israel. Other issues mattered to them, of course, but if there was a candidate that was Hitler-like in every imaginable way that loved Israel and believed abortion should be illegal, they would vote for that candidate before they would vote …

Please tell my wife. She either doesn't believe me or doesn't care. =/

I'm the same with just about anything. I am a believer in, if it's your turn to go at a stop, you GO. But there are circumstances where it makes sense to wave someone by. If I do this, and the person then insists I go first, I go. I'm not gonna sit there and argue via hand signals. What's important is that everyone gets where they're going as soon as they can, safely.

No. This is not "us vs them." That's the whole point of all this. We are men, women are women--but all people are people. THAT'S what matters. Judge an individual based on their individual actions, not the actions of people sharing a category with them.

Most third party texting apps have a feature to silence specific conversations. I say just silence it and let them text their ever living heart out while you get on with your day. It'll stop eventually.

As you say, gender, class, race, etc should not have any effect on sentencing for crimes.Unfortunately, we're not there yet. Hopefully the generation that feels this way so strongly now still feels this way once they're the ones in charge.

She knew the law, and she broke it. It's that simple. If you believe the law needs changed, that's fine, but that's a different conversion.

I understand your belief. However, the law says it's rape. So beliefs are pretty irrelevant here. It's rape, whether you wish to use the word or not.

First of all to you, bud: You probably shouldn't be using the word "probably" when trying to sound factual--let alone if you're actually trying to BE factual--particularly when you're using the "I'm using facts and you aren't" kind of tone. Now that your technique is shown to be flawed, you should know that your argument is too. I take it you haven't seen many PR crashes. When someone is representing a company or a person and something is publicly said to seriously bring about a bad reputation, …

Then she probably shouldn't have assaulted him, hm? Assault is wrong and a crime no matter your gender, hm?

I couldn't even imagine. I'm not a believer in the whole lawsuit-culture we've created. But I would take them for everything. Everything.

If you keep watching the video, they say that police tried to charge the woman for assault, but the bus marshal didn't want to press charges.

It's only helping if the person wants it. Otherwise it's forcing and no one likes that guy.

A stutter really isn't a big deal. I've known a couple people that sometimes stutter fairly badly and it's basically a non-issue. You get used to the normal stuff, and you just learn to be patient when it gets bad.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
