I'd gild this comment if I could, straight wisdom. I was going to counter argue but now I won't.

I definitely often find myself in that state of mind. Having more of everything is often praised as a virtue, especially in western culture, and I can't see why. The need to be extremely productive, to be better, the grind... Perhaps some people are wired this way, and they happen to be the ones controlling the narrative. Perhaps people like you and me have no genuine need for infinite growth. But then sometimes I get this rush of ambition and it feels more true than anything else and it makes m…

But that's what made her no turn into a yes. She mentionned not liking to sleep around so maybe knowing that I'm a virgin made her feel less guilt about it.

I'm from Tunisia, and I also find Western dating culture weird, especially the US. Hell, even europeans find the US dating culture weird. I think it's because most americans don't have "roots" and are plagued with consumerism. Honor, loyalty, sacrifice etc don't resonate with them. They're more focused on how to get as much as possible with as little effort as possible. TRP has solid advice on personal development. But for things such as masculinity and dating I wouldn't refer to the sub because…

I spent a few months teaching english abroad, that's how I had sex for the first time, got invited to parties and social circles that I would have never gotten access to at home and met a loooot of people. If you have the option I definitely recommend that, I taught in Vietnam where they pay $20/hour and there's a lot of backpackers coming through the cities so it's very easy to meet people, but you could teach in many other countries seeing that you have a degree and you're a native english spe…

If you have no clear career path ace your highschool exams, the scholarships are more than worth the hard work.

" But how many of these people have real power, real destiny, real dynamique for their place, and their time, and the lives of thousands of people? I will tell you—four. Four people in this room with power, and the rest are like the rest of the people everywhere: powerless, sleepers in the dream, anonyme...You know the kind of power I’m talking about, don’t you? Real power. The power to make men shine like the stars, or crush them to dust. The power of secrets. Terrible, terrible secrets. The po…

The vibe you're giving off plays a major role, people who are too assertive/do not make you feel important/choose negative words/lack composure are usually not fun to have discussions with, so if you identify with any of those you should work on it. There is also spontaneity, if you don't let any of your feelings show, do not laugh or you act too serious/tense then that's also a conversation killer. Most importantly, and this applies more for flirting, you should never be too direct or blunt(but…

Loved your focus on individuality and capitalizing on your strengths, solid no BS advice, thanks!

It depends on how you define it, for me it is the path you find yourself walking in when you're giving it your all and focusing on what truly matters, do it long enough and the noise disappears, your decision making becomes less dependent on pros & cons and more on gut feeling, and somehow it always works out.

Might be something about your facial expression, not your physique itself, people pick up on those things, if you're naive and inexperienced it shows, it's very subtle and you can't change it unless you work on your inner game.

I agree, althought I'm partially against the recent hype around him, his advice should be extremely relevant in this specific case.

Depends on the culture you were raised in, for me it is not such a big deal.

I disagree, he should definitely try to steer his friend to breaking up with her, but backstabbing should never be an option(even if she deserves it).

Thanks but even though I know that I can't help it, it's less about knowledge and more about attitude.

This path sounds interesting but I am currently too unstable to consider it.

Imagine having total control over your future, and then picture it as awesome as you want it to be, hard to stay down after that.

social retards have trouble making friends. Their body language and posture and facial expressions are weird. They talk about strange things and use unusual language to do so. Their vocal inflections are off. Sometimes, they say inappropriate things. They don’t emote when they should. Or they do emote, but not appropriately based on the interaction. When other people are talking about normal stuff in a normal way, they just kind of stand there and don’t have anything to contribute, or they over-…

It appears that they were tall compared to other people in their period, their 1m80 is now considered average.

I think that it is too early to make decisions, you should support her for at least the next month, and after that you can make a choice depending on your lifestyle and feelings.

Maybe remove the "I don't fight with women" or change it, sounds corny.

Damn, I planned on buying the physical book today because I thought it was worth it, now I won't, I'll just read the ebook version and then decide .

I consider "The 48 laws of power" as a better version of HTWIP, much more adapted to the 21st century .
