I'm in your shoes. The relationship wasn't THAT bad but in the end he did a 180 and was manipulative, emotionally abusive and selfish so I left asap, the worst part is that he's playing the victim. I loved him and he loved me but obviously not as much as I did him. I'm trying to move on too. 2 years wasted more or less.
Aw thank you ! Trust me - I am grateful for the experience rather. I now know the red flags I need to avoid and I know that every time someone like that hurts you - it’s never any fault of your own ! Took me a long time to process that. But thank you x
Been there. Done that. Men like this love your looks and sex appeal but don’t love you. I was dumped after he told me I was too much for him to bring home to his strict parents and I wasn’t as “smart” as him. But my sex was enough to keep him happy right? Total waste of my time. Never give a man below you a chance. 9/10 this ALWAYS happens. I knew I was out of his league and I still cared for him because of his personality. “Nice guys” are trash also. He was a total narcissistic piece of 🗑🤦🏾♀️
I met my HVM at a club 😂, it really is luck! You never know who you could meet one day. In comparison I also met my ex NVM at church. OP is stating facts ! Just have an open mind and VET CONSTANTLY. This sub is meant to teach us WHEN to walk away.
You're 100% right. I was just coming from the whole standpoint in terms of women “giving their wombs” to men who are undeserving. For example Future’s baby mothers, NBA young boy’s countless baby mothers also. It is true that there are some women birthing these men's children for the wrong reason. I hate that these men keep on creating broken homes by imprenating Sarah, Jessica, Brittany, Monica etc EVERYBODY. How is that a good household for an innocent child? Some women nowadays don't even min…
Honestly I didn't even bother to reply after reading 34-35 wanting an 18 year old. It's way too alarming for me. I'm honestly scared for any woman who wants him. Master manipulator. Gross as hell
Bingo. I’ve always had the vibe that being open was her idea.. and yeah all of what you said is correct. She was in a closed relationship when she got the STD. This post is kind of falsely advertising that she got the STD from being in an open relationship - which is untrue. I’m not an advocate for open relationships but I think this post is portraying something that is false in my opinion.
Hey, I watch her and I’m not sure what you meant by “she keeps telling her man no”. I was under the impression their open relationship is basically “flirting” and “occasional dating”. I don’t like open relationships but I’m just wondering what you mean? Also she got the std from being in a relationship where her boyfriend cheated on her. She was unaware that he did.
Thanks for this. I will NEVER IN MY LIFE forgive a cheater. And I hate when I hear that a woman forgives a cheating man when they are not even married. Like - imagine staying with a man who couldn’t even be faithful BEFORE marriage? Absolute rubbish in my humble opinion. Although I can disagree wholeheartedly that you should stay with a cheater. I kind of understand if a woman wants to stay if they are married and have kids - if he cheats on her once. But to forgive a man that you are not tied t…
On god. Why must he LIE to protect his brother. Tf. Bye. He looked TOOOO comfortable doing what he was doing. He BEEN cheating. His brother was probably sick of saving his ass
Nah it’s not. That’s an over dramatic comparison. I’m just saying we have control over who we let in our lives. This sub always expresses how we should CUT men off once red flags emerge. Simple That’s what we should do End of story 🤷🏾♀️
I’m not glossing over that trust me. I’ve met devils in sheep’s skin before. But isn’t it a better lesson to tell women to be wiser with their judgement as best as they can? That’s something we CAN have an affect on. We have no effect on whether a man wants to act accordingly and respectful.
I don’t really think it’s victim blaming. I’ve taken time to reflect on my bad choices and they could have been EASILY avoided if I paid more attention to the person I was dealing with at the time. It’s important to continually vet someone you’re with 🤷🏾♀️ hence the title of the post.. “We do need to be discerning when it comes to the kind of people we entertain and keep around”
So you don’t think sometimes us women purposely ignore red flags? Cause I do believe that is the case in point. Sometimes it’s us women that allow toxic men to enter our lives because we’re too naive to realise they are showing us WHO they ARE instead of just ignoring that and focusing on their POTENTIAL. This is just my opinion though. Don’t get me wrong. Some men are slick and pretentious but not ALL of them are that skilled honestly speaking.
”DIE MAD” Love it! 😂 fr I'm sure half/most of us have good men in our lives. I know I do 🤷♀️ And I still fxxking love this sub. Soo much to learn! Whether it's relationship wise or lifestyle choice wise. I'm gonna still be an active sub here
Exactly. I’m not saying all guys don’t care but the MAJORITY of them don’t care about a woman’s pleasure/ can’t even please a woman period. You will never know how capable they are until you do the deed so you might as well abstain.
Same, when I look back on the fact that I used to have Situationships (casual sex) I was always left unsatisfied and angry. A man will literally gas up his sex skills just to last 1 minute and fall asleep. Rubbish
Off topic but he sounds Irish 😂 I’m wondering if OP is from there as I was born and raised there. A lot of guys talk like him over there But nah she isn’t missing out on a whole lot. He seems more concerned over her looks
Exactly. She's probably staying for convenience 🤷♀️ and that's okay at this point because. What. The. Fuck. Also I agree with everyone else. She's gonna leave him soon for her new bae. He should just sit tight and watch his marriage explode due to his selfish desires <3
This post is so one sided that it makes me angry. He's a hypocrite. Why does she have to tell him her business if he's keeping HIS business a ”secret-ish” so because your just content and she's happy you should close the relationship? Ha. I'm not for open relationships but they should leave it open and he should shut up and think about why he wants to close it.
Yesss!!! I’m glad they broke up but it kinda seems as if she’s not really getting the whole point here.. The post didn’t even need to be put up in the first place. Why would she even think she’s an asshole ?????????

How can the only thing she takes out of this is his comment on the “division of labour” I- This post screams that she tried too hard to begin with. How can a man be mad about cleaning up. Let’s all create boundaries early on in relationships
